Dark Wizard: Rise! My undead army!

Chapter 441 Visiting the Spaceship

For the next few days, Anli prayed once in the morning and once in the evening.

Kneeling before the statue of the god, close your eyes, put your palms together, and silently recite the prayer that belongs only to the supreme God.

The golden light spots inside my body grew brighter and brighter, changing from the size of a grain of rice to the size of a soybean, and then from the size of a soybean to the size of a peanut.

She can now mobilize more divine energy to heal minor wounds and give herself a protective shield.

Although she couldn't use offensive divine magic, she was already very satisfied.

At least I have the opportunity to change my fate.

What she didn't know was that the power of faith could only be used in the goblin world. Outside the goblin world, she was still a mortal without any power.

Augustus, of course, was unaware of this; in their view, the goblin world was already the entire world.

After Saint Anne's coronation ceremony was broadcast on various television stations, the whole world learned of her existence.

Everyone knew that a beautiful and noble saintess had arrived at the Supreme Temple.

Fanatical followers flocked from all over, just to catch a glimpse of her from afar.

Anli stood on the steps at the temple entrance, giving the believers her standard smile.

She didn't know why those believers were so agitated, but she knew that she now represented the Supreme Divine Court and the face of her junior master.

We can't lose face!

During this period, the envoys from the Haru faction came three times.

The first time, the messenger delivered a large box of ice cream and a letter filled with polite words, the gist of which was to invite Lady Anri to visit the palace when she had time.

Anli had Augustus reply, saying that she was busy with her cultivation recently and would visit another day.

The second time, the messenger delivered a box of pastries and a letter, inquiring about Lady Anli's progress in her cultivation and mentioning that several new imperial chefs had arrived at the palace, capable of preparing dishes of various flavors.

Anli replied that her cultivation had progressed and that she would definitely visit him when she had free time.

The third time, the messenger brought a bouquet of flowers and a letter, saying that he had personally visited the spaceship construction project outside the city and would like to invite Lady Anri to come and see it with him.

Anli felt too embarrassed to refuse again, so she agreed.

When Augustus learned of this, he did not stop her, but instead sent a team of Templar Knights to accompany her, both to protect the saintess and to demonstrate the majesty of the Supreme Court.

Haru personally greeted them at the palace gate.

He was wearing a dark blue robe and a crown, looking extremely formal.

Seeing Anli alight from the carriage, he quickly went to greet her and bowed slightly.

"Lady Anri, welcome back to the palace."

An Li also gave a slight bow. "Your Majesty, I apologize for disturbing you."

Haru led her through the corridor, through the garden, through several gates, and to the city gate.

Several military trucks were parked outside the gate, painted dark green with their cargo compartments covered by tarpaulins.

Haru helped Anri into the first truck, and the Templar captain followed. The driver stepped on the gas, and the truck drove out of the city gate.

It was Anli's first time riding in a car. The ride was very bumpy as the car drove from the main road onto a secluded country road. Her bottom bounced up and down.

She gripped the handrail, bit her lip, and forced herself not to make a sound.

The truck drove for more than half an hour before stopping in an open area.

The open space was vast, stretching as far as the eye could see.

Dozens of silver-white spaceships were parked on the open ground, some already completed and others still under construction.

The workers climbed up and down, some welding the outer shell, some installing the engine, and some debugging the equipment.

Sparks from the welding torch glittered in the sunlight, and the roar of the engine made the ground tremble slightly.

Haru asked Anri to get out of the car and pointed to the spaceships in the distance.

"Lady Anri, after the Supreme God issued the divine decree, I mobilized all the power of the Empire to build spaceships and train astronauts."

"The first batch of 100 ships was planned to be built, and 30 have been completed so far. 500 astronauts have been trained, and 200 have passed the assessment."

The oracle of the Supreme God?

Anli looked at the spaceships, her mouth slightly open.

Every spaceship here is more than three times larger than the research vessel she saw on Death Island.

The hull is silver-white with a streamlined shape, and a huge engine is mounted at the stern.

Her eyes followed the hull of the ship from bow to stern, and then back from stern to bow.

"Your Majesty, building so many spaceships must have cost a lot of money, right?"

Haru nodded. "It consumed a great deal of the Empire's resources, but it is the Supreme God's command, and the Empire has no choice but to comply."

Anli remained silent for a few moments.

With just a word from the junior master, the entire goblin world was thrown into motion, consuming a great deal of manpower and resources, and even affecting the lives of the goblins.

A hundred spaceships, five hundred astronauts, and countless resources were consumed.

She didn't know what status her junior uncle held in the academy, but she knew that in the goblin world, her junior uncle was a true god!

She turned back to look at the spaceships.

"Your Majesty, you've worked hard."

Haru laughed heartily. "Serving the Most High God is no hardship."

Having said that, Haru walked ahead, his steps light and quick.

"Lady Anri, please come with me."

He led Anli across the open space to a silver-white spaceship.

The spaceship's hull gleamed coldly in the sunlight, and the emblem of the Goblin Empire—a pattern of a gear and ears of wheat crossed—was printed on its hull.

The hatch was on the side of the hull, half-open, dark and resembling a large mouth.

Haru gestured with his right hand, about to lead Anri inside, when the Templar Knight captain stepped forward from behind and bowed to Haru.

"Your Majesty, please wait a moment."

He turned and waved to the knights in silver armor behind him.

The knights strode into the cabin, their footsteps echoing on the metal floor.

Anli stood outside waiting, knowing they were there to check if it was safe. She heard voices coming from inside, but couldn't make out what they were saying.

After a while, a knight poked his head out of the hatch and nodded to the captain.

The captain turned around and bowed slightly to An Li.

"Your Highness, you may go in now."

Anli followed Haru through the hatch.

Since it was a goblin's spaceship, the hatch was very low. She bent over to get in, and her head almost hit the door frame.

Inside was a narrow passageway with metal walls on both sides, covered with pipes and buttons.

The passageway was only a little over a meter wide; she could touch both sides with her arms outstretched.

Her shoulders were almost touching the wall, and she had to be careful not to touch the pipes with every step she took.

Haru walked ahead of her, his steps quick and his body nimble as he moved through the passageway.

He was already small; the goblin's height only reached Anri's waist.

What is spacious to goblins is like being cramped in a box to humans.

Anli's breathing was a little rapid, not from exhaustion, but from suppressed emotions.

It's too narrow, too low, and too stuffy.

Her head was only a fist's distance from the ceiling, and she could see the screws and welds on the ceiling.

This made her feel extremely uncomfortable.

Haru stopped in front of a door and pushed it open; behind the door was the cockpit.

This area is a bit wider than the passageway, but it's still quite narrow.

The control panel was filled with dials, buttons, and screens, and the seat was fixed to the floor with a seatbelt strapped to the back.

Several engineers were sitting in their chairs adjusting the equipment when they saw Haru enter, and they stood up and bowed.

Haru waved his hand, telling them to get back to work.

He turned to look at Anri.

"Lady Anri, this is the cockpit, the heart of the spaceship."

Anli glanced at the dials, then at the chairs, and nodded.

"Very advanced."

She wasn't interested in technology; what interested her was the way the spaceship flew, not the parts inside.

Haru wanted to take her to visit the engine room, but Anri shook her head.

"Your Majesty, no need, it's too cramped here, I feel a bit stuffy."

Haru paused for a moment, then smiled.

"It was my oversight. The spaceship was designed with goblins in mind. I'm sorry, Lady Anri."

He led Anli out of the cabin.

Anli bent down and crawled out. The moment she straightened up, her breathing became smooth. She took a deep breath, and her chest no longer felt tight.

Haru stood beside her, watching the spaceships.

"Lady Anri, the Queen and the princes and princesses miss you very much. Since you've come out today, why don't you come to the palace for a visit?"

Anli hesitated.

She really wanted to go; the palace had ice cream, pastries, and goblins in gorgeous clothes surrounding her.

But the Templar captain stepped forward and bowed to Anri.

"Lady Anri, it's time to go back. The Archbishop is waiting for you."

His voice was respectful, but his tone made Anli feel uncomfortable.

I came here to experience life in the goblin world, not to be a puppet.

Anli glanced at him, then at Haru.

Haru had a smile on his face, but it was a little stiff.

Anli bit her lip. "I don't want to go back yet. I rarely get out today, so I want to go to the palace."

The Templar captain frowned slightly. "Lady Anri..."

Anli raised her hand, interrupting him.

"I will explain to the archbishop."

The Templar captain remained silent for a few moments, then took a step back and said nothing more. Anri looked at Haru.

"Your Majesty, let's go."

Haru's smile returned, he nodded, and led Anri toward the truck.

The Templar captain followed behind, his hand on the hilt of his sword, his face not looking too good, but he still got on the truck.
