Dark Wizard: Rise! My undead army!

Chapter 409 Settling in the Goblin World

In the goblin world, Gregor stood on the rocks of the Isle of Death, taking one last look at the giant net of rules in the sky.

The three thousand chains were still slowly rotating, each one glowing.

Each of the three thousand rules had its own merits, and his eyes were tired from looking at them, but he still refused to blink.

He was afraid that if he blinked, the net would be gone when he opened his eyes again.

"Mentor, let's go."

Lynn stood behind him.

Gregor lowered his head and rubbed his neck slowly, as if he were stalling for time.

After a moment, he spoke somewhat awkwardly.

"Lynn, I'd like to move the lab here and stay on this island for a while."

Lynn frowned slightly.

"Stay here? Master, the energy concentration here is too low; the cultivation effect is far inferior to that of the Eternal Night Graveyard."

"I don't need energy concentration," Gregor waved his hand. "What I lack now is a sense of the rules."

"Your Sacred Mark Domain contains a ready-made network of rules of all things, with each rule connected to another. I can see more in that network than I have in ten years of seclusion."

Lynn's brow remained furrowed.

"But this is the domain of the Holy Mark after all. If I encounter a battle and the enemy breaks into the domain, you will be in danger here."

Gregor smiled.

"If I'm not afraid, why should you be? Besides, this place is much safer than other places. If you encounter a battle, just let me know in advance, and I'll go back to the academy."

"You're not fighting every day. I'll come over when you're at the academy, and I'll go back when you're out on missions. I don't mind the trouble."

After saying that, he patted Lynn on the shoulder.

"What, are you afraid I'll hold you back?"

Lynn was silent for a few seconds, then nodded.

"Since you'd like to stay here, then fine."

Gregor chuckled.

We can also benefit from our apprentice's success.

However... if someone truly comprehends the Saint Mark realm achieved by their disciple, then who is truly teaching whom? It would be a reversal of the natural order...

The two left the Stigmata Domain and returned to the laboratory to pack their things.

Gregor stood in the center of the laboratory and raised his right hand.

Countless energy arms surged out from behind him, swarming densely throughout the laboratory, looking rather terrifying.

"Gregor's Hand of All Things!"

These arms appeared in the air and began to work.

Some arms held beakers, some arms supported petri dishes, and some arms pinched reagent bottles.

They have a clear division of labor, each performing its own duties, and none of their arms are idle.

Gregor began packing his things.

He packed the instruments on the control panel into his space bag one by one, and neatly arranged the materials on the shelf bottle by bottle.

He worked quickly and carefully, checking each item before bagging it.

Lynn stood at the door, gazing at the massive energy arm with a hint of envy, as the analysis panel unfolded in his mind.

One hundred workstations operate simultaneously, breaking down the sorcery model of "Gregor's Hand of All Things" into its most basic runes, energy circuits, and structural framework.

He closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, the chains of rules within his body trembled, and grayish-white light surged from his palms, transforming into countless arms.

These arms are thicker, more solid, and more numerous than Gregor's energy arms.

These arms surged into the lab, grabbing the instruments, petri dishes, and reagent bottles on the workbench before Gregor's arms could reach them.

Then the two arms collided.

One was gold, Gregor's, and the other was greyish-white, Lynn's.

The golden arm grabbed the beaker and tried to put it into the spatial bag, while the grayish-white arm grabbed the same beaker and tried to put it in the other direction.

The beaker was suspended in mid-air, being pulled left and right by two arms.

Beside the beaker, two other arms were struggling over a stack of notebooks.

The notebook was torn apart, and the pages slipped out of the cover, scattering all over the floor.

Below the ceiling, red arms and gray arms shoved each other, knocking over a shelf.

The shelf fell over and smashed onto the worktable, causing the petri dishes on the worktable to roll to the ground and shatter.

The pale blue liquid in the petri dish spilled all over the floor, bubbling.

Several other arms were scrambling for a bottle of medicine. The cap had been unscrewed, and the medicine was spilling out of the bottle, dripping onto the pile of materials next to it.

There was a bag of powder in the pile of materials. The powder was soaked in the medicine and emitted a pungent smell.

Lynn used too much force and crushed a petri dish. The sarcoma tissue cultured inside squeezed out from between his fingers, fell to the ground, and was still pulsating.

Gregor stood there, staring at the chaotic laboratory, completely stunned.

He looked at the arms that were fighting each other, at the petri dishes that were broken all over the floor, at the medicine that was spilled all over the table, and at the pile of powder that was soaked.

His lips were trembling, and his eyes were wide open.

"Lynn!"

Lynn withdrew his arm, and the grayish-white light receded into his palm.

He scratched the back of his head and gave an awkward chuckle.

"This is my first time using it, so I'm not very skilled yet. Please forgive me."

Gregor glared at Lynn, his face turning completely dark.

He stared hatefully at Lynn's grinning face for a long time, then the corners of his mouth slowly curled up.

He turned around, squatted down, and began picking up the notebook papers from the ground.

Pick them up one by one, smooth out the folded corners, and stack them in order.

"Your first time using it was better than the first time I used it," he said in a low voice.

"The first time I used it, I broke three bottles of 'Plague Bone Solution' and the whole lab smelled terrible for half a month."

Lynn walked over and squatted down to help her mentor pick up the papers.

"What's the use of taking on apprentices?" Gregor stacked the papers neatly and clipped them together with a cover.

"Isn't it just about passing on the mantle?" He stuffed the notebook into his spatial bag and stood up.

"You use my witchcraft better than I do, and I'm glad, at least the tradition has been passed down..."

"But one thing at a time, you have to pay for the broken things!"

Lynn laughed. "I'll pay. How many magic stones do you need? I'll pay."

"I don't want the magic stone. Go buy the materials and get me a replacement." Gregor took a piece of paper out of his pocket and handed it to Lynn.

"Nothing on the list can be omitted."

Lynn took the paper, glanced at it, and couldn't help but grin.

Good heavens, to fleece someone else and then fleece your own apprentice, that's something else.

However, Lynn didn't say anything. This little bit of stuff was nothing to him right now; he just considered it as sponsoring his mentor's research.

After all, I've slept with his materials quite a bit before.

After stuffing the notebook into his storage bag, Gregor stretched his shoulders and turned his neck twice.

Suddenly his gaze fell on the clock hanging on the laboratory wall, and his body stiffened abruptly.

He turned around and looked at Lynn.

"Is the flow of time different in the two worlds?"

Lynn nodded.

"It's different. The basic time flow rate in my small world is twice as fast. One day in the main world is two days in the small world."

Gregor's eyes widened in surprise.

"What? Time is flowing twice as fast?"

"Then, will my speed of comprehending the rules also double?"

Lynn nodded.

"Logically, it should be twice as fast..."

Gregor paced back and forth in the laboratory excitedly for a long time before finally stopping.

"My comprehension speed has doubled... then I..."

At this point, his voice suddenly choked up.

"In my lifetime, I might actually be able to achieve the Stigmata!"

With that in mind, he stopped wasting time, turned around and continued packing, much faster than before.
