Dark Wizard: Rise! My undead army!
Chapter 348 Big Draw
Lynn's mental energy materialized into a hand, reaching into the chaos and grabbing one of the strands.
The divine light was the first to be extracted.
The golden light, gentle and pure, became somewhat volatile within Leon due to the corruption of negative emotions.
It floated out of Lyon's chest, landed in Lynn's palm, bounced a few times, and then fell silent.
The dark divinity then emerged, a cold, black orb of light, intertwined with the light divinity, and was drawn out together.
The divinity of the earth was stripped from Lyon's bones, leaving behind a thick, heavy, earth-yellow orb of light.
Oceanic divinity was drawn from the veins, a blue, supple ball of light, like a pool of water.
The divinity of the sky was drawn from the lungs, a cyan ball of light, light and breezy.
The divine nature of justice was drawn from the heart, a white, sharp orb of light, like a sword.
The divine essence of life was drawn from the liver, a green, warm ball of light, like the spring sunshine.
The divinity of courage was drawn from the spleen, a red ball of light, intense, like a ball of fire.
...
Eight rays of light, eight colors, spun in Lynn's palm.
Light and darkness stand side by side, intertwined like the black and white of a yin-yang symbol.
Lynn sealed them all into specially made crystal bottles, eight bottles in total, neatly stacked next to the lab bench.
We'll study it later. If it's useless, we'll give it to "All Things" to devour, increasing its "divinity".
Lyon's body stopped trembling.
The chaotic forces were drained away, and his body became still, like a stagnant pool.
But his skin was still pale, his lips were still purple, and his eye sockets were still sunken.
His hair began to turn white, from the roots to the tips, strand by strand.
That's a sign of life force being lost.
His soul was still collapsing. Without the support of the world's power and the protection of the gods' divinity, his soul was like a house without a foundation, about to collapse at any moment.
Lynn looked at Lyon. This body had been tempered by the remains of the gods and was quite strong; it would be a pity to throw it away.
If I were to transform into an undead, I would at least be a Calamity-level being.
He extracted Lyon's soul from his body; it was a dim, weak ball of light, like a lamp about to go out.
Leon's face could be vaguely seen in the ball of light; his eyes were closed, and his expression was calm.
Lynn sealed his soul into the Phase Lamp and stayed with the ghosts.
The physical body was stored in the undead space and placed in a corner, where it was first soaked in the undead power to adapt to and absorb the power before being refined.
Leon was gone, the lab table was empty, with only a pool of dried blood and a few strands of white hair remaining.
Lynn turned and walked toward the door.
Outside the door, Sofia was still pressed against it, occasionally banging on the door like a zombie.
Her hand was cut, and blood stained the door, leaving behind bloody handprints.
Her forehead was also cut; she had banged her head against the door.
Her clothes were torn by the protective runes on the door, revealing her skin covered in wounds.
Just then, Sophia heard the door open and looked up to see Lynn standing in the doorway.
Her eyes were red and swollen, and her face was covered in tears and blood.
"Where's Leon?" Her voice was hoarse, as if squeezed from the depths of her throat.
Lynn shrugged and didn't answer.
This woman is no longer of any use to him, so he can't be bothered with her anymore. Let her do whatever she wants.
Sofia rushed past him and into the inner sanctum.
The lab bench is empty.
She knelt on the ground and peered down at the area beneath the platform.
It's empty too.
She lifted the cloth on the table, but there was nothing underneath.
She was still not giving up. She stood up and walked around the room, rummaging through drawers and cabinets, and opening every corner.
"Leon! Leon! Where are you! Come out!"
No one answered.
Sophia turned around and looked at Lynn.
Her eyes held fear, anger, and despair.
"What did you do to him!"
Lynn shrugged. "He's dead."
Such a casual remark dealt a huge blow to Sofia.
She couldn't believe that someone so important in her life was gone just like that.
Sofia's body swayed, as if she had been hit by something.
She held onto the wall, slowly slid down, and sat on the ground, her whole body trembling.
"You lied to me...you lied to me..."
"I'm not lying to you, I really died. My soul was extracted and refined to obliterate it, and my body was also reduced to ashes."
"But if you want to see him, I can take you there."
Upon hearing this, Sofia was utterly devastated. She looked up at him fiercely, her eyes devoid of light.
She looked at him for a long time, then lowered her head.
"Then kill me."
Lynn looked at her. "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure," Sofia said calmly. "Without him, life is meaningless to me."
Without hesitation, Lynn raised his hand and placed it on Sophia's head.
He probed her body with his spiritual power, found her soul, and extracted it.
Sofia's body slumped to the ground, her eyes closed, tears still streaming down her face.
Her soul was silvery-white and very pure, unlike Leon's hazy gray soul.
Lynn sealed her soul in a crystal bottle and placed it along with her body into a skeletal ring.
We can't put her and Leon together. What if they have some kind of chemistry and a "fusion evolution"? That would be a disaster.
"Alright, that's settled."
Lynn clapped his hands and walked out of the inner hall.
He stepped out of the temple, soared into the air, hovered in mid-air, closed his eyes, and probed the depths of the world with his spiritual power.
Deep within the world, a familiar band of light, governed by rules, appeared before my eyes.
The rest is simple, just draw the numbers.
One rule after another, Lynn stripped away all the rules of this world.
Complete, extracted.
Even incomplete ones are extracted.
If you can't get it out, force it!
He went through so much trouble to conquer the world and gain global power, so he's bound to make a fortune.
The world's will is lamenting.
Every time the rules are removed, a strange change occurs in the world, and the whole world screams in agony.
The sound was low and muffled, as if it came from underground.
It travels to the ground and becomes wind, rain, thunder, and lightning.
Those who were still alive heard the wind, saw the rain, and felt the thunder, and their hearts trembled.
They didn't know what had happened, only that a tremendous change had occurred in the world, and that the world was weeping.
The world is fading.
The power of those laws, the power of matter, the power of magic, the power of divine arts, the power of the elements—all of them are fading away.
Those bands of light are the source of all power in this world.
With each rule removed, the world weakens a little, and with each weakening, the forces that depend on rules for their existence diminish a little.
The magician found his magic no longer working, the priest found his already weak divine spells had completely failed, and the warrior found his fighting spirit had weakened.
Those once powerful professionals have become ordinary people overnight.
