The swarm of insects continued forward, leaving only bones in its wake.

"Run! Run towards the city!"

Someone pointed to the walled city in the distance; that was their last hope.

They ran desperately, then knelt on the ground, panting heavily, after entering the city gate.

The soldiers guarding the city quickly closed the gates, set up their weapons, and stared at the black tide outside the city.

The swarm of corpse beetles suddenly stopped outside the city gate.

The soldiers all breathed a sigh of relief.

It seems those terrifying monsters can't get in.

Then they heard heavy footsteps.

The stone figure approached from afar, each step causing the city walls to tremble.

It stopped at the city gate, its massive body level with the city wall, and looked down at the people trembling inside the city.

As the stone golem approached, an intense heat swept over them, and ordinary people had no time to escape before being incinerated by the high temperature.
