Chapter 266 Master Scott's Study

Stasia was slightly taken aback. Hearing about eternal youth only slightly tempted her. She was still considered young among the elves and had a long time before entering her decline.

But when she heard Alphonse say that he had a way to help her seduce Master Scott and achieve her dream, she could no longer suppress her desire.

She had been following Master Scott for many years, and even secretly bought a copy of "One Hundred Ways to Seduce a Man." She tried countless methods from the book, but Master Scott remained unmoved.

Desperate and grasping at straws, he quickly nodded, his gaze towards Alphonse becoming much more friendly.

Master Scott looked at Alphonse with suspicion. "I just sensed strange sound waves moving in the air. What did you just do?"

Alphonse felt a chill run down his spine, genuinely worried that Master Scott would notice something was amiss.

Now it seems that the sound is so focused that it can even bypass the perception of a legendary magic god. He can only sense the flow of sound waves, but cannot know what they are.

He immediately smiled and changed the subject, "Master Scott, I can also provide you with a set of 'witchcraft' that can make people stay young forever. I can guarantee that it's a form of power you've never encountered before. Of course, this 'witchcraft' also has the effect of strengthening the body, but you probably won't care too much about that effect; how about it, as exchange for lending out your divine artifact?"

Master Scott raised an eyebrow. He wasn't interested in eternal youth and didn't usually pay much attention to his appearance, which was why he looked so unkempt.

Costacia tugged at his sleeve. "Master, I'm very interested in this 'witchcraft,' let's change it! Let's change it!"

Master Scott was well aware that Alphonse had reached some kind of agreement with Stasia, but he regarded Stasia as a sister and simply couldn't bring himself to refuse her request.

Aside from wanting to become his wife, he would grant any request Stasia made to him.

He didn't necessarily need an item equivalent to a divine artifact.

Seeing Scott's expression, Alphonse knew there was a chance, and it was almost certain to succeed. He was secretly delighted.

Alphonse still remembered Edson's promise; he wanted to find out the secret to becoming a legendary powerhouse.

As for exchanging internal cultivation techniques, that doesn't matter. I still have plenty of mental cultivation techniques from the seven sects of the Holy Sect that I remember.

Master Scott sighed softly. "Edson can't offer anything that interests me, but Master Godin is highly skilled in soul magic and might be able to achieve my goal. I care about that. Here's what we'll do: I'll take you to my lab. If Master Godin can help me, I'll lend you the 'Arena of Destiny.' If not, you can exchange it for your 'witchcraft.'"

After saying that, he added, "If Master Godin can help me advance my research, I'd like to exchange other treasures from my collection for your 'witchcraft.' What do you think?"

"Yes." Alphonse nodded without hesitation.

The treasures of a legendary expert must be extraordinary, and with the apology gift he promised earlier, he can choose two items.

Ederson was also pleasantly surprised; at least a deal could be reached, and it wouldn't be a complete failure.

Master Godin never expected that things would come full circle back to him, but he had already agreed to have a magical exchange with Master Scott. To assassinate the hidden sage and the treacherous minister Lollolit of the demon race, he still needed to rely on Alphonse and Edson, so he readily agreed.

The group followed Master Scott out of the living room, down the stairs, and around several corners. Master Scott stopped at a turning platform, waved his hand, and another staircase appeared out of thin air.

Immediately afterwards, a strong magical fluctuation appeared in the air at the end of the stairs, and suddenly, a hidden room appeared before everyone's eyes.

Alphonse was somewhat taken aback; Scott's research lab was still hidden.

However, she also keenly noticed something: when the research lab appeared, Stasia's face darkened and she pouted, clearly indicating that she did not like the things in the lab.

When Master Scott led everyone through the door and saw the situation inside, Alphonse immediately understood why Stasia's expression was off.

In the research room stood a dozen petite dolls dressed as rural girls, their features lifelike.

Unlike those made by Master Godin, these dolls all have skin, making them look like real people.

On the experimental table, there was a disassembled metal doll with various parts scattered all over the surface.

Alphonse was completely taken aback. Master Scott didn't even fancy the delicate and beautiful elf next to him, but actually liked playing with figurines?

These dolls all have the same appearance, which clearly indicates that they are based on the same person.

To be honest, the doll's appearance can only be described as pure and dignified, exuding a gentle temperament. But in terms of looks, she is far superior to Mia and Stasia, and even Monica is better than her.

Could she be Scott's former lover?

Edson wasn't surprised. "After all these years, Brother Scott, you still can't let it go?"

Master Scott said listlessly, "I've tried to stop thinking about her, but I just can't help it."

Having said that, he turned to Master Godin beside him and said, "My research into soul magic is not deep; I can only get her to perform some simple actions. If possible, I hope to give her independent consciousness. I wonder if you, Master Godin, can do that?"

"No problem! This isn't difficult for me, it just requires some rare materials to create the artificial soul!"

Master Godin had created more than one puppet with its own consciousness, but the puppet in front of him still caught his eye.

The texture of the skin was a problem it had never been able to solve, so neither Maria nor Oates had skin covered.

Master Godin was already very surprised that the skin on these dolls had no trace of splicing.

Through its Eye of Souls, it had made a simple analysis and determined that the puppet's skin was not made of biological skin, but rather artificial skin synthesized through alchemy. However, it was unable to discern the material used.

"Can I touch it?"

"Go ahead!"

Upon hearing Master Godin's answer, Master Scott was overjoyed and could not suppress his smile. There was no reason for him not to agree.

Master Godin immediately stood up and reached out his claws to stroke the doll's arm.

With a flick of his hand, Master Scott completely shut out their conversation from the outside world.

It's unclear whether he had ulterior motives or simply didn't want the secret techniques revealed by Master Godin to be leaked.

Alphonse and the others could only wait quietly.

Fortunately, it didn't take long before Master Scott walked over with a joyful expression.

"Let's go to my treasure vault first. Master Godin needs to find some materials, and I'll also deliver the treasure I promised you while I'm at it." (End of Chapter)
