Become a Homelander and a Marvel superstar
Chapter 616 Mutants? What are those things?
Azu rolled his eyes.
He had absolutely no interest in this pretentious, muscular, ugly man.
In the normal Marvel universe, he might play along with such provocation to gain some popularity.
But in this universe, he is just a temporary visitor. He doesn't need to care about his so-called public image or his insignificant popularity.
If it weren't for Emily standing right next to him, requiring him to maintain his virtuous and upright persona, the moment he glanced over, two intense gazes would have sliced the muscular, pretentious man into three pieces.
"Get out of here." Azu didn't even glance at Yujiro again.
He then turned around, ready to continue explaining to Toramp the matter of finding Charles Xavier.
"Hehe, you can't make that decision."
Yujiro moved.
His body left an afterimage in place, and his pure muscle explosive power brought him to Azu's side in an instant.
Like claws forged from steel, it went straight for Ah Zu's head.
Toramp closed his eyes in terror, as if he could already see the man draped in the Stars and Stripes' head explode like a watermelon.
But nothing happened.
There was only one dull "snap".
Toramp quietly opened his eyes.
Azu casually stretched his right hand backward and firmly clamped down on Yujiro's exaggeratedly large wrist.
"Um?"
Yujiro narrowed his eyes slightly.
He felt as if his wrist was not being held by a human hand, but rather cast into a solid block of iron weighing hundreds of tons.
No matter how much power he exerted, that wrist remained completely still.
"I already said that." Azu finally ran out of patience with this persistent, muscular, ugly man.
"roll!"
Ah Zu didn't even exert any real force; he simply tossed it out the window.
The movement was so casual, as if shooing away a fly that had landed on his clothes.
whoosh-
Yujiro's massive 200-kilogram body, tossed casually by Azu, shot out of the broken French window like a cruise missile and soared into the sky.
In the blink of an eye, Yujiro turned into a point of light and disappeared into the depths of the clouds.
Azu clapped his hands and turned around.
"Alright, the annoying flies are gone. Let's get back to our business."
Toramp witnessed the whole thing.
His mind went blank, and he paused for three seconds.
The monster that left the US military helpless and forced him, the president, to sign a humiliating treaty, was just... thrown out like that?
"God bless America! God bless America! You must be an angel sent by God to save me!"
Toramp used both his hands and feet to grab Azu's leg.
"No one understands heroes better than me! You are the greatest hero! I want to award you the Medal of Honor! I want to carve your face on Mount Rushmore!"
Azu looked down at the old man from Weitang who was clinging to his leg and crying bitterly, and sighed silently.
Are all the people in this world fucking insane?! How did this piece of trash even get hold of the nuclear button?
Azu grabbed Toramp by the back of his collar and lifted him up like a chick.
"Shut up." Azu glared at Toramp and said coldly, "Stop spitting out your disgusting snot. Stand up straight. Breathe like a normal person."
He pointed to the broken window behind him.
"Wake up! Otherwise, you'll be the next one thrown out."
Toramp's cries stopped abruptly; he had no doubt that the man before him would keep his word.
"very good."
Azu nodded in satisfaction. When dealing with politicians who bully the weak and fear the strong, fear is always more effective than reasoning.
"Now, go find me someone. His name is Charles Xavier. People usually call him Professor X."
Toramp paused for a moment.
He had originally thought that this man, who seemed to have descended from the heavens, would ask for money or power, or even for the White House to declare him the king of the world.
Looking for someone? Is it that simple?
"No problem! Absolutely no problem!" Toramp nodded repeatedly, like a salesman who had just landed a big order. "No matter who he is, no matter where he's hiding, America's intelligence network can dig him out. Who is he? A terrorist? A wanted criminal? Or a politician from some hostile country?"
"He's a mutant," Azu added. "A powerful psychic."
Mutants? What are those?
Toramp's face showed obvious confusion.
Is it someone like that muscular freak from earlier?
Torramp asked cautiously, "What are the distinguishing features of this Charles Xavier? What does he look like?"
Azu frowned slightly.
In different multiverses, the timelines of variants are not entirely consistent.
In some universe, Charles might already be a bald old man in a wheelchair;
But in another universe, he might still be a dashing Oxford University student with a thick head of hair.
He was unable to provide specific physical characteristics.
"That's not important," Azu insisted. "Find the information on every man in the world named Charles Xavier and send it here."
Torramp dared not delay in the slightest; he immediately grabbed the red encrypted phone that symbolized supreme power.
He issued his first presidential decree since taking office.
Minutes later, the CIA headquarters in Langley and the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., were in a state of frantic activity.
All agents were urgently redeployed from their regular duties.
Satellite systems, immigration records, taxpayer registration forms, and even hospital birth certificate archives were all activated at full power.
The president's order was to complete the task at all costs and as quickly as possible.
Less than half an hour later, a series of hurried footsteps sounded outside the corridor.
"President, this is all the information you requested." The lead agent reported breathlessly, "Here are the files of all surviving males named Charles Xavier worldwide. A total of 3,742 files."
Thick stacks of paper files were piled up on the desk.
"Sir, all the information is here." Toramp looked at Azu with a fawning smile and said respectfully, "There's quite a lot. Would you like me to arrange for a team of senior CIA analysts to assist you in screening it?"
"unnecessary."
Azu interrupted Toramp.
The next second, Azu's body blurred.
Toramp and the agents only felt a blur before their eyes as a gust of wind suddenly swept up in the reception room.
swish swish—
The sound of papers turning over was so dense it was like a downpour hitting glass.
Only two seconds had passed.
Ah Zu held the last file in his hand and casually put it back on the table.
He has already read through all of the thousands of documents.
Toramp and the agents stared at Azu with their mouths agape, as if they had seen a ghost.
