Become a Homelander and a Marvel superstar
Chapter 317 There is actually another way
Azu continued downwards, passing through the liquid iron-nickel flow of the outer core, and finally arrived at the huge cavity near the inner core.
The sight here would drive anyone with a weak mind mad.
In this vast space, which resembles the womb of a god, lies a giant whose size is beyond description.
Tiamute's form was already quite complete, and his posture resembled that of a baby curled up in its mother's womb.
Its head is inlaid with six huge, jewel-like eyes.
Its entire body has a golden metallic sheen and is covered with intricate geometric patterns.
Even in its slumber, this enormous golden divine body constantly exudes the immense pressure of a higher-dimensional being.
Azu hovered before Tiamut's enormous face; his size seemed as insignificant as a speck of dust before this golden giant.
"What a magnificent giant," Azu said, looking Tiamut up and down in amazement.
He flipped his wrist and pulled out the Masterball.
"Come out, Chaoge. I've got a real treasure for you."
A red light flashed in the vacuum, and Ego's tall and strong Kryptonian avatar appeared.
Since Ego's current true form is Apokolips, which is too large and unsightly, Azu can only summon his clone.
The super-goth summoned from within the dimensional rift also remained deep within the rift.
The moment he opened his eyes, his gaze was immediately locked onto the enormous golden body in front of him.
"This...this is..."
Chao Ge's usually indifferent face revealed an extremely shocked expression, even with a hint of awe.
"Master...this is a true god!"
Chao Ge's voice trembled slightly, and he involuntarily took a half-distance step back, as if he felt some kind of bloodline suppression originating from the depths of his genes.
"What's wrong? Are you so excited to see a fellow countryman that you can't speak?" Azu turned his head and watched Igor's reaction with great interest.
"No...this is not excitement, Master. This is awe."
After calming his intense mental state, Igor began to recall the past.
"Nearly a million years ago, I had an extremely fortuitous encounter with a member of the Celestials at the edge of the universe."
"That being's body was enormous; it could create a star with a mere gesture. That was the first time I truly experienced the power of the universe."
"From then on, I began to frantically deduce my origins. I have no torso, no limbs, only a brain floating in the void."
Igor pointed to Tiamut's gleaming golden body and continued speaking.
"Based on my own divine power to manipulate matter and create life, I have come to a conclusion."
"I am also a god, but I was born prematurely. For unknown reasons, I was a defective product forced to leave the incubator before completing the process of divine manifestation."
"In order to protect my fragile brain core from being destroyed, I can only instinctively absorb the surrounding matter, and over millions of years, I have wrapped a planet as a disguise."
"It was from that time that I dared to declare myself a god."
Chao Ge slowly flew forward, circled halfway around Tiamute's huge head, and a look of lingering fear appeared in his eyes.
"Master... I really never imagined that such a complete god would be nurtured inside this unremarkable blue planet."
Chao Ge returned to Azu's side and said with heartfelt gratitude:
"If you hadn't intervened in time, Master, and stopped me, once I extended my divine power and touched the core of this planet..."
"...I'm afraid you won't even need to lift a finger. My pitiful planetary shell wouldn't last a second before it's completely wiped out of the universe by the great being who planted the seed behind it."
"You're really lucky then." Azu shrugged nonchalantly. "So, did you, this half-baked god, figure anything out? When will he wake up?"
Chao Ge said helplessly, "Master, my divine power cannot analyze this god across dimensions, but I can see that his gestation is already very mature. He is currently just undergoing the final stage of dormancy and energy transformation."
"I predict that within three years at most... he will definitely achieve divine manifestation and emerge from his shell."
Three years? Azu pondered.
This timeline, based on Thanos's snap that wiped out half the universe's population, largely aligns with the storyline. If nothing changes in these three years, Earth will truly become a giant cosmic firework.
"Is there any way to resolve this hidden danger?" Azu asked.
Igor was silent for a moment, then shook his head.
"The situation is very difficult, Master. We cannot take any drastic measures."
"He is now fully developed, and any aggressive or hostile actions we take will immediately wake him up."
"Once he awakens due to stimulation and prematurely activates his divine manifestation... even if you, Master, possess invincible power and are able to kill him in a battle... the Earth will still cease to exist in the process."
"Is there really no other way?" Azu's face darkened.
"Yes." Chao Ge hesitated for a moment before offering the simplest and most direct solution.
"The necessary condition for the manifestation of God is to absorb a sufficiently large amount of intelligent life energy from the planet. We can artificially disrupt the pace of this energy accumulation."
"All you need to do is go to the surface, kill at least half of the intelligent life, and drastically reduce the human population."
"Once the sleeping deity loses its food source and experiences a huge energy deficit, the process of its manifestation will naturally be delayed indefinitely. This deity will continue to fall into a long slumber."
Kill half the population?
When Ah Zu heard this suggestion, the corners of his mouth twitched repeatedly.
"Igor." He pointed to his face.
"Look closely at my face. Do you think my skin is purple? Do I have vertical wrinkles on my chin?"
Chao Ge looked bewildered by the question and could only stare at A Zu's handsome face for a while before honestly shaking his head.
"No, Master. Your skin tone is normal, without any purple or wrinkles."
"So you're asking me to wipe out half the population?! Don't you know I'm most devoted to my fans?" Azu rolled his eyes. "I'm a homelanderer who saves the world, not a psychopath who came up with a human purge plan!"
"Can't you just try to assimilate him?" Azu said irritably.
"It won't work." Chao Ge rejected the idea again.
"Assimilation is a process of superiors overcoming inferiors, and this golden god's level of life is far higher than mine now."
Chao Ge explained with a wry smile.
"If I try to forcefully assimilate him in my current state, and it triggers his instinctive reaction or brings him back to his senses, I won't be able to conquer him; instead, I might become his delicious snack, swallowed whole!"
"Actually... there is another way."
