"The gravitational field is changing! The Earth's core energy readings are abnormal! An unknown energy is eroding our Omega network!"

"What?!" The officer on duty grabbed the sergeant by the collar. "Impossible! Absolutely impossible!! No one can touch Lord Darkseid's power!"

"It's true, sir! Look!" The sergeant pointed to the main screen.

In the 3D model representing the energy distribution of Apokolips on the hologram, the originally pure dark red energy network is being rapidly divided and devoured by countless blue threads.

Those blue threads were like a viral infection, spreading upwards along the energy channels.

"Contact the great Darkseid immediately!" the officer roared, realizing the situation was completely out of control.

Several communications officers immediately activated the hyperspace communication array.

"Establishing connection..."

"Warning! Signal transmission failed!"

"What's going on?!" the officer roared.

"Sir! An unknown blue energy network has covered the entire fortress's communication array, and all frequency bands have been locked."

The communications officer stared in despair at the "Connection interrupted" message on the screen.

All communication channels were cut off by Igor.

Apokolips has been isolated.

"It's over...we're finished..." He slumped into a chair, utterly dejected.

On the Dark Plains, Kalibak was terrified.

He stopped looking at the two men with their eerie smiles.

Escape! We must escape back to the Dark Fortress!

He suddenly exerted force with his legs, and the enormous jumping power propelled his body like a missile, soaring thousands of meters into the air and flying wildly towards the dark fortress.
