Tony initially intended to simply throw away the Arc Reactor he was holding.

But after thinking about it, he dismissed the idea.

Although the arc reactor has been destroyed, it has fallen into the hands of other people or organizations. There is no guarantee that they will not use reverse engineering to deduce the technology of the arc reactor.

Just as he was about to activate the thrusters on his feet and back to leave the track, he saw Roy standing in the stands eating popcorn and watching the show.

Seeing him turn to look at him, Roy waved at him.

Could he have known all along that Ivan Vanko would come here to attack me?

Tony immediately frowned, and the guess involuntarily flashed through his mind.

He didn't know if his guess was right.

But he felt that Roy's previous reasons were becoming increasingly untenable.

Now is not a good time to ask Roy.

Suppressing his doubts, Tony activated the thrusters on his feet and back, flying towards the hotel.

Back on the street behind the hotel, he removed the Mark 7's suit, allowing it to revert to its flight cabin form and return to the trunk, where he then placed the damaged Arc Reactor inside.

After doing all that, he returned to the hotel and went to Pepper and Happy.

Not long after, Roy, having changed his clothes, returned to the hotel.

Seeing him return, Tony immediately pulled him aside, frowning, and said, "Did you know this would happen all along?"

"Yes."

Roy nodded.

"How did you know? Why didn't you warn me before?" Tony's brows furrowed even more as he pressed for an answer.

Roy shrugged and replied casually, "I didn't warn you because I wasn't sure if this would actually happen."

"As for how I know this, it's very simple. I have some control over time and can predict the future."

"But the future I foresee using the power of time may not necessarily come to pass."

"The future is not fixed; it will change due to many factors."

The power of time?

Predict future?

Tony looked at Roy with a surprised expression.

He knew Roy possessed many superpowers, but he never imagined that Roy also had the superpower of predicting the future.

It's normal that he doesn't know.

Because Roy doesn't actually have that kind of superpower.

Whether it's the power of time or the ability to foresee the future, these are just excuses he uses to conceal his prophetic aura as a time traveler.

However, once he obtains the Time Stone, this excuse will become a reality.

After a moment of silence, Tony said to Roy, "I'm going to see Ivan Vanko. Would you like to come with me?"

Why do you want me to go with you?

Roy asked with a smile.

Tony rolled his eyes at him and quickly said, "I feel safer with you here, okay?"

Roy gave him a disgusted look, took a few steps back, and quickly said, "You don't really mean what the media said, that you developed post-traumatic stress disorder after being kidnapped and changed your orientation from heterosexual to bisexual, do you?"

"My orientation is perfectly normal, and it has never changed!"

Tony was taken aback at first, then quickly replied.

"If you're orthodox, then you're orthodox. There's no need to get so worked up."

"Since you're so insecure, I'll go with you."

Roy said with a smile.

Tony glared at him and sighed helplessly.

With his intelligence, he could certainly tell that Roy was deliberately making fun of him.

But there was one thing he couldn't understand: why Roy always liked to tease him and make fun of him, as if he were some kind of source of joy.

S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, top floor of the Tri-Wing Building, office of the Security Council Chairman.

Wearing a gray suit, Alexander Pierce sat behind his desk, repeatedly watching footage of Ivan Vanko and Tony battling it out on the track.

When the video finished playing again, he picked up the phone on the table and dialed an internal number.

"Notify Agents Rumlow and Sitwell to come to my office immediately."

"Yes, sir."

After giving his secretary instructions, Pierce put down the phone and waited patiently.

Just two or three minutes later, "Crossbones" Brock Rumlow, dressed in combat gear, and the bald-headed Sitwell appeared before him.

Pierce wasted no time and asked directly, "Have you seen the video of Stark fighting in Monaco?"

"I've seen it."

Rumlow and Sitwell replied simultaneously.

Pierce nodded in satisfaction and continued, "What do you think of Ivan Vanko's armor?"

To the general public, Ivan Vanko's identity is shrouded in mystery.

But for S.H.I.E.L.D. or Hydra, finding out his identity would not be difficult at all.

Rumlow was the first to reply: "The armor is very rudimentary. The energy whip's attack power is decent, and it should be able to easily cut through various common metals, but its defense is almost zero, so its practical value in combat is not high."

Sitwell then added, "Although the armor is rudimentary, it appears to use the same arc reactor as Stark's."

"If we get the Arc Reactor technology from him, we can create our own steel armor and even build a steel army."

Pierce stood up, walked to the huge floor-to-ceiling window, looked in the direction of the White House, and said to Rumlow and the other man with his back to them, "Now the whole world has seen that Ivan Vanko has the technology to build the Arc Reactor, and there will be no shortage of people who want to get this technology from him."

"I'm currently considering whether to send you to lead the team to Monaco, or to directly entrust Roy with handing Ivan Vanko over to us."

"Furthermore, entrusting him with this task might expose our identities, which would be a losing proposition."

"I am absolutely confident that Ivan Vanko will be brought back."

Pearson turned around and stared at Rumlow.

After a dozen seconds, he finally spoke, "Since you're confident, then you can make the trip."

"Make sure it's done cleanly. If you expose something that shouldn't be exposed, you know what the consequences will be."

Rumlow ignored Pierce's warning and replied solemnly, "I will absolutely not let you down, sir!"

Roy and Tony, escorted by a group of police officers, headed towards the detention cell.

A middle-aged sheriff with a hairline comparable to Coulson's was explaining the information they had gathered so far in French.

Monaco is surrounded by France on its east, west, and north sides, and the Mediterranean Sea to its south.

In Monaco, French is the official language.

"He used a fake passport when he entered the country. We checked his fingerprints, but there was no record of them, not even his name."

"No matter how we interrogated him, he didn't speak a word."

Tony replied in French, "Give me five minutes."
