Chapter 137 I Only Use One Sword
Under Roy's control, the white dragon flew like a heavy bomber toward the Hydra base located between the two mountain ranges.
The forest below was ravaged by clay bombs that fell from the sky.
Chakra Sensing Technique!
Roy silently began using his Chakra Sensing Technique to detect life signals within the Hydra base.
At this point, he wasn't sure if Red Skull was actually in the base like in the movies.
With the use of Chakra Sensing Technique, he got the answer.
There are many life signals inside the Hydra base.
One of them happened to be a superhuman.
It's obvious that this superhuman is Red Skull.
Sensing Red Skull's life signal, Roy stopped casting his chakra sensing jutsu and turned to Peggy and Rogers, saying, "Schmidt is also at the base."
"How did you know he was there?" Rogers asked, looking puzzled.
"I have the superpower to sense other people," Roy replied.
Rogers continued, "Then can you sense Bucky and the others?"
Roy raised his right hand and pointed to two locations within the Hydra base, replying, "Bucky is in the room upstairs, and the other prisoners are locked up in the southwest corner of the base."
"You and Peggy go in and rescue them. I'll handle Schmidt and the other soldiers."
The life signals of the other prisoners were not much different from those of the Hydra soldiers.
However, this did not prevent Roy from distinguishing them from the Hydra soldiers.
The prisoners were all held together in one place and could not move around freely, so they were not difficult to distinguish.
As for Bucky's life signal.
He remembered Bucky's vital signs when they first met.
Upon hearing that Roy planned to deal with Schmidt and the other Hydra soldiers alone, Rogers' first thought was that it was too risky.
But he eventually agreed to Roy's arrangement.
He noticed that Peggy had no objection to Roy's arrangement and seemed completely unfazed by it.
Since Peggy, as the team leader, had agreed, he naturally wouldn't object.
Soon, the white dragon arrived above the Hydra base.
As Roy maneuvered the white dragon to its descent, he used Magnet Release to lock onto the nearby Hydra soldiers with high-intensity magnetic force.
Unlike other German soldiers, Hydra soldiers used energy guns that fired the Space Stone's energy.
Dr. Zola was unaware that the Space Stone was stored inside the Tesseract.
However, he successfully found a way to extract the energy of the Space Stone and created the corresponding energy gun and magazine.
Roy easily located the nearby Hydra soldiers.
The next second, the helmets worn by these Hydra soldiers were subjected to a terrifying squeeze and dented.
The helmets, originally intended to protect their heads, became weapons that took their lives.
The dented helmets inevitably crushed their heads.
In the blink of an eye, every Hydra soldier in the base plaza died from having their heads crushed.
As they fell to the ground, the white dragon descended upon the base's plaza.
Without hesitation, Peggy and Rogers leaped off the white dragon's back and headed toward the prisoner-of-war cells.
After watching them leave, Roy used a teleportation technique to leave the top of the white dragon's head and disappeared.
Without his control, the white clay dragon lay motionless in the square like a sculpture.
The central control room within the base.
Red Skull stood in front of a monitor screen, his brow furrowed.
He didn't know what Roy had just done, but he saw from the surveillance footage that the Hydra soldiers in the square hadn't had a chance to do anything before they fell down.
After thinking for a few seconds, he began to detonate the time bombs installed throughout the base.
Dr. Zola approached Red Skull, trying to stop him from activating the other time bombs, and shouted, "No, what are you doing?"
"Our soldiers are no match for him," Red Skull replied.
Dr. Zola glanced at the monitor screen.
Only now did he realize that all the soldiers in the square were dead, and an expression of disbelief appeared on his face.
Red Skull ignored him and continued to activate other time bombs.
Dr. Zola left the control room as quickly as possible and ran towards his office.
A few minutes later.
Red Skull and Dr. Zola took the elevator to the rooftop.
As the elevator doors opened, Roy came into view.
Seeing Roy standing in front of his "private jet," Red Skull's expression was as ugly as could be.
He assumed Roy was busy dealing with the soldiers inside the base.
Unexpectedly, Roy knew his escape route and arrived on the rooftop ahead of time to wait for him.
After glancing at Roy, Red Skull said, "You and I are both pioneers in the history of human evolution, so we are natural allies."
"Compared to you and me, everyone else is just an ape that hasn't fully evolved."
"Join me, and together we will conquer the world and become the masters of the earth."
Roy looked at Red Skull with the eyes of someone looking at an idiot, then flicked his wrist and took out the Grass Sword from the system space.
Under the watchful eyes of Red Skull and Dr. Zola, he casually twirled his sword and replied, "I'll only strike once. If you're still alive after that, I'll let you go."
Red Skull had no idea what he was planning. His right hand unconsciously gripped the energy pistol at his waist, ready to draw and fire at any moment.
Seeing Roy strolling towards him at a leisurely pace, Red Skull decisively drew his energy pistol from his waist and aimed it at Roy.
However, just as he was about to pull the trigger, Roy disappeared from his sight.
The next second, the scene in front of him began to spin and tumble.
He saw Roy holding a grass sword, and he also saw Dr. Zola staring in disbelief.
He also saw himself.
To be precise, I saw myself, headless, standing still in an aiming posture.
Seeing this, he finally realized what was happening.
The reason the scene before him became spinning and swirling was because Roy had chopped off his head with a sword, and the head flew into the air and tumbled and spun due to inertia.
Realizing that Roy had beheaded him with a single sword strike, Red Skull's consciousness grew increasingly blurred, and everything before his eyes went black.
Just as easy as I imagined!
Roy sighed inwardly and put the grass sword back into the system space.
Then, he took the specially made briefcase containing the Tesseract from the Red Skull's corpse.
He opened the specially made briefcase, which was completely different from a regular briefcase and looked like a long box. He glanced at the Cosmic Cube inside and then put the briefcase into his system space.
"I surrender!"
Dr. Zola, who had just recovered from the shock, raised his hands and spoke quickly.
Roy approached Dr. Zola, grabbed him by the neck, and lifted him up.
"I don't accept prisoners!"
After saying that, he casually tossed Dr. Zola off the roof.
