American comics: Starting as the Jinchūriki of the One-Tailed Beast

Chapter 122 That Woman

In the past, Tony would never have believed that dragons existed.

But now, let alone dragons, even if Roy told him that there were creatures in the universe as large as planets, he wouldn't be surprised.

Odin and Thor in Norse mythology could be aliens, so it's not particularly strange that life forms as large as planets could exist.

"What do you want to do with this dragon scale?" Tony asked Roy.

"Same as before, forge 10 daggers similar to tridents."

"Also, forge another longsword."

After saying that, Roy took out a dragon scale from the system space and placed it on the table in front of him.

"How many dragon scales did you get?" Tony suddenly asked.

"Not many, maybe a few hundred pieces," Roy replied.

A few hundred pieces are considered not many?

Tony immediately rolled his eyes at Roy.

He had assumed Roy had only managed to get two or three pieces.

Unexpectedly, Roy managed to get his hands on several hundred pieces.

Speaking of this, we have to mention the dragon, the guardian deity of Tarot.

Although Tarot warriors all use dragon scale weapons, the Tarot's dragon scale reserves have always been abundant due to the small population.

In addition, dragons, like snakes, shed their skin every once in a while, replacing all the scales on their bodies.

Over time, Tarot has accumulated a whole warehouse full of dragon scales.

After defeating the giant Soul Eater with a single strike, Roy and the dragon had a friendly "sparring match".

I won't go into the specifics of the process.

After the sparring session, the dragon willingly signed a blood pact with Roy, becoming his first summoned beast.

Besides the dragon, Roy also signed blood pacts with several mythical beasts, a nine-tailed fox, Dijiang, and a pair of phoenixes, making them his summoned beasts as well.

In terms of strength, mythical beasts such as Junmao and the Nine-Tailed Fox are far inferior to the Divine Dragon.

But Roy still signed a contract with them.

He doesn't need to summon beasts to increase his strength.

To him, dragons, steeds, and nine-tailed foxes were all just means to show off.

If he really encounters an enemy that even he can't handle, summoning them won't be of any use.

Upon learning that Roy possessed hundreds of dragon scales, Tony immediately said, "Since you have so many dragon scales, you wouldn't mind giving me a few, would you?"

"What do you need dragon scales for?" Roy asked with a smile.

"Is that even a question? Of course, it's used as the outer armor of the suit!" Tony replied quickly.

Although no tests have been conducted on the defensive capabilities of dragon scales, it's obvious that their defensive performance won't be too bad.

These are dragon scales!

It would be strange if its defensive capabilities weren't outstanding!

In addition, the color of the dragon scales also matches Tony's aesthetic.

Before the dragon scales fell off, they were white.

After it falls off, it will turn dark red.

Although the color has changed, the magical effect of the dragon scales has not disappeared.

"no problem!"

Roy then took out three more dragon scales from the system space and placed them on the table.

In the following time, he briefly explained to Tony the dragon scale forging method that Tarot had researched.

Even if he didn't say it, Tony's intelligence would allow him to quickly find a suitable forging method.

After listening to Roy's story, Tony slowly said, "Come and pick it up in three days."

Roy nodded, looked at Tony's chest, and asked, "Has the surgery date been set?"

"Once it's decided, the procedure will be done next Sunday. The surgeon is Dr. Wu from China."

"He is a world-class cardiac surgeon. I met him once at a scientific conference in Bern, Switzerland in 1999."

"At that time, he was already a leading figure in the field of cardiac surgery."

"More than 10 years have passed, and his medical skills must have become much more refined —"

Tony paused for a moment, raised an eyebrow at Roy, and said with a smile, "He has a very beautiful female assistant, also surnamed Wu, what's her name again?"

After a moment's thought, he finally remembered his female assistant's name and continued, "Jiaqi, her name is Wu Jiaqi."

When Tony mentioned that Dr. Wu had a beautiful female assistant, Roy guessed what he was up to and shook his head, saying, "I'm not like you. I'm not so lecherous that I would want to sleep with every pretty woman I see."

The character Wu Jiaqi only appeared in the China-exclusive version of "Iron Man 3," with a screen time of only about three minutes and three lines of dialogue.

The actress who plays Wu Jiaqi is none other than the woman who single-handedly made countless girls across mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong swoon.

Besides appearing in the China-exclusive edition of Iron Man 3, that woman also appeared in X-Men: Days of Future Past, playing the mutant "Blink," who can create portals by distorting space.

"I'm not the playboy I used to be anymore, I've reformed!" Tony looked at Roy with a serious expression.

"The word 'reformed' is usually only used to describe prostitutes," Roy replied.

Tony paused for a moment, then said loudly, "Anyway, I've changed for the better, and I'm very devoted now."

"7

"I will never let any woman into my bed again except Pepper."

Just as Roy was about to say something, Tony continued, "Um—after the surgery, could you use your superpowers to help me recover as well?"

"After the surgery, Pepper and I will move to New York to live permanently. I don't want to waste time on post-operative recovery."

Roy didn't refuse and said slowly, "Okay, just give me a call when the time comes, and I promise you can go home as soon as you finish the surgery."

"If you don't have anything else, I'll head back to New York now."

Tony waved his hand and replied, "Go back now. Remember to come back in three days to pick up the Dragonscale Dagger and Longsword."

Roy nodded, activated his Flight Thor ability, and returned to his villa on the Upper East Side of New York.

He sat down on the sofa in the living room and recalled the original timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to the original timeline, after the events of Iron Man 3, the story would begin with Thor: The Dark Elves invading Asgard and stealing the Reality Stone, the Aether.

But because of him, Asgard and Loki are different from those in the movies.

The Rainbow Bridge in Asgard was not destroyed, and worlds like Vanaheim did not descend into chaos because Asgard could not intervene.

Similarly, Loki wasn't locked in a VIP cell; he was simply confined to his palace for solitary reflection.

As for Jane.

After receiving Thor's free knowledge of the universe, she became one of the world's leading astrophysicists, publishing many papers that shocked the academic world.

Although her published papers did not reference any relevant literature on Earth, the academic community still recognized her work.

Because she cited Asgardian astrophysics in her paper.

Asgard's social system is somewhat backward, employing a monarchical autocracy.

But the only thing that's backward is the social system.

The Rainbow Bridge is a good example.

Furthermore, the soul forging furnace used by Jane during her examination in Asgard after she was possessed by the aether particles is the "quantum field generator" that Earth currently does not even have a fully developed theoretical basis for.
