Wizard: Starts with Advanced Meditation

In the blink of an eye, everyone present was completely engulfed by the surging white mist.

Within the white mist, the Mist Demon and the Cloud Giant appeared together, transforming into a silent meat grinder. With a single, gentle roll, they tore the bodies of everyone in the Black Pact Nest to shreds.

The wizard apprentices present were the first to be slaughtered. Their bodies were the weakest, and in a moment they exploded into clusters of scarlet blood mist in the churning clouds.

As for formal wizards?

The mist demons might not be able to tear off the witchcraft on their bodies, nor could they bite off their transformed flesh, but for the cloud giants, it was just a matter of tearing it off with a flick of their wrists.

"Click-clack!! Click-clack!!"

"Sizzle!! Sizzle!!"

Just a few minutes later, there was the crisp sound of armor cracking, followed by the sound of flesh and bone being torn apart.

As fresh bodies were torn apart, the originally pale fog was instantly stained crimson.

That's because the Mist Demon and the Cloud Giant are frantically devouring their flesh.

"..."

Outside, Hughes had shed his "Katgaria" disguise.

He clutched the bone flute of the Sighing Sound tightly in his hand, while Andri's headless corpse, already devoid of its soul, lay sprawled at his feet.

On the surface of the corpse, the runes that covered its entire body were dissipating one by one, each disappearance corresponding to the fall of a life in the cloud-shrouded meat grinder ahead.

This is also why Schuster specifically arranged for Andre to come up first.

After all, if the other party were still at the foot of the mountain, the news of the first group's deaths would immediately be reflected on them and known to the members who had not yet gone up the mountain.

Then, Hughes raised his hand and beckoned, and a skull glowing with an eerie green light appeared in his hand.

"Mr. Poison Demon, now we can go invite the next group of members."

As soon as he finished speaking, Mr. Poison Demon, who had been standing silently beside him, suddenly moved and quickly flew down the mountain.

That's right, this vice-leader of the Black Pact Nest, the mysterious Poison Demon Mr. Katarja, is nothing more than a modified corpse of the other party.

It is also one of the few precious relics of the Drone family.

This information was discovered by Hughes while sorting through the other person's belongings. Fortunately, when Katja died, this out-of-control modified corpse was not with the other members.

And there is no doubt that this "deputy leader" can bring a lot of convenience to his plans.

"Whoosh!!"

Soon after, the crimson fog gradually dissipated, leaving only a dim array of runes, as well as scattered bloodstains and bone fragments.

However, Hughes could sense that a rich spiritual energy was waiting for his bone flute in this area.

"..."

And so, Mr. Poison continued to lead the members of the Black Pact Nest to the secondary teleportation array in batches.

Meanwhile, Hughes teleported their crystals in waves, luring nearby cloud giants to slaughter them.

During this time, one or two half-pool wizards managed to escape the encirclement, but they were all killed by him and Mr. Poison Demon.

……

"Who are you?"

"Whoosh—!"

Soon after, with Hughes personally killing the last member who had escaped from the Cloud Giants, the Black Pact Nest, a rising power that had once emerged on the outskirts of the continent, was completely destroyed.

"Waaah—"

At the same time, as the last remnant soul of the formal wizard turned into nourishment, the Sighing Bone Flute in his hand also changed at this moment.

"roar!!!"

In an instant, a roar from a spirit exploded from the flute.

If you listen carefully, you'll hear that the mournful roar actually contains Gray's voice.

Immediately afterwards, the bone flute trembled violently, and ghostly green flames rose one after another from the dim patterns on its surface.

Suddenly! With a "crack", the bone flute cracked inch by inch, but these fragments did not fall. Instead, they were reforged by the will-o'-the-wisp and transformed into a new bone flute.

The new flute is entirely black, but unlike the original, its surface is no longer engraved with deep purple patterns; instead, it is constantly surrounded by grayish-white death energy particles.

At the same time, the seven finger holes also changed.

The two faces that originally represented a formal wizard have become one, meaning that now only a single finger hole is needed to seal the spirit of a formal wizard.

Hughes stroked the transformed bone flute, a faint smile playing on his lips.

At this moment, the entire Black Pact Nest has been wiped out, which means that Hector is now virtually unable to testify against him, and his plan has been perfectly completed.

Moreover, the Sighing Bone Flute has finally undergone a transformation, reaching a higher level.

This time, he made a fortune.

"Phew... finally solved..."

The tension of the past few days had left Hughes somewhat exhausted. He rubbed his temples and then used a spell to teleport back to Tum Town.

As for Mr. Poison Demon? Hughes told him to walk back to Tum Town on his own.

Anyway, the wanted list issued by the Golden Ring Crown does not contain a portrait of the person, and no one on the street will recognize them.

Upon his return, Hughes immediately began the remaining cleanup work.

He carried the bodies of Kent and two members of the Black Pact Nest to the Coral Oath's branch in Tum Town, where Kent was stationed.

"..."

Soon after, he fabricated a story that Kent's death was caused by two Blackheart wizards working together to kill him, while he himself managed to kill them while they were seriously injured.

Furthermore, the reason for their trip together became that Kent "invited" him to join in apprehending illegal immigrants.

In this way, Hughes managed to exonerate himself somewhat.

The reason he deliberately concealed Katega's existence was to avoid Coral Oath checking his identity.

After all, these two corpses, which he deliberately left behind, already had clear identities on the wanted list, thus saving Coral Oath the trouble of verifying their identities.

Coincidentally, the Black Pacts on members of the Black Pact Nest will destroy their souls on their own after the host dies, thus saving the organization the step of searching for souls.

As for the reason why Kent's soul disappeared, Hughes explained that it was because one of them was a necromancer who had already absorbed Kent's remnant soul.

Thus, the three corpses, which left no trace of their souls, created another incident where the dead could not provide evidence.

"..."

About an hour later, after Hughes finished recounting the information he had fabricated, the Coral Oath granted him permission to leave.

Of course, after that, the organization will likely send people to the location he mentioned to investigate, since they naturally cannot believe his one-sided account.

However, he had already made all the preparations, and it was unlikely that he would be discovered.

After all, this matter was already very secretive, and there was also "Mr. Poison Demon," the only remaining member of the Black Pact Nest, who could forge some crucial evidence for him.
