Cultivators at the Wizarding Academy

Chapter 31 One Point of Dishonesty

Chapter 31 Not Honest at All

"Greenfield, are you alright?" Taiya asked with concern.

"I'm fine. The life-saving potion from Tai'an was a great help." Greenfield wiped her mouth with a handkerchief, walked up to her fiancé, her eyes softening, and placed her hands on his shoulders: "I want to thank you."

"You're welcome." Tai'an couldn't quite keep his composure, a faint blush appearing on his chubby face.

The girl slowly leaned down and gently touched the boy's cheeks with her warm lips.

The silver-haired loli chimed in from the side, "Xiao An, aren't you ashamed? You're so big and you still need to be kissed. Do you want your big sister to kiss you?"

Tai'an glared fiercely at Mao Luoli: "If you've got the guts, come over here! Stop talking!"

Without a word, Yin Yue stood in front of the boy, her small hands on her waist: "You're the cutest boy I've ever seen, so I'll grant your wish..."

The silver-haired loli pouted and slowly brought her face closer.

"Your Highness, this is no good!" Guardian Loong appeared and exclaimed, but it was too late to stop him.

Tai'an took the initiative to attack Yin Yue's dimples.

"No! How could you do this? You're taking liberties with me..."

The silver-haired loli covered her face, at a loss. In just a few seconds, her fair skin turned a sunset-red, and her body trembled as if she had been electrocuted.

When it comes to physical sensitivity and reflexes, she is simply unmatched.

"That wretched Xiao An."

Leaving behind a single sentence, Yin Yue hurriedly fled the scene.

"Serves you right!" The boy curled his lip in disdain.

Night falls.

The pale sky gradually lost all its light, leaving only a starless and moonless darkness.

The night watchman lit one by one the white ghost lamps along the roadside.

During their leisure time after dinner, Taiya and Taian discussed the matter of making the potion of life.

The sooner the better. Tomorrow, Gus will go to the market to buy all kinds of experimental instruments, as well as raw materials for making the life potion.

Taiya is confident that she has no worries about sales thanks to her social network.

If Taian can concoct more popular magic potions among spellcasters, it will earn even more in the future…

"Lord Tai'an, do I need to move in?" The newly recruited follower, Aglaia, spoke in a voice so soft it was almost inaudible.

"Suit yourself! I won't force you. If you want to move in, I'll save you a room." The little boy isn't at the age where he's impulsive yet. Liking beautiful women is a normal man's instinct ingrained in his genes.

"Okay, I'll move in in a few days," Aglaia said, making up her mind.

The main reason is that the boy's cute face is too deceptive. She is usually very wary of men who approach her for no reason, but she can't think of the same thing about the boy.

"Here, I'll give you a cloak. Wear it when you go out." Tai'an took out a mysterious item called the Shadow Cloak from his spatial ring.

It is engraved with a light-distorting spell, which can roughly conceal one's face; it is a very convenient magical item.

The only troublesome part is that the built-in energy storage magic stone needs to be charged frequently, otherwise the inscription array cannot maintain its operation.

"Thanks!"

Aglaia tried it on, twirled around in front of the mirror, and thought the cloak was quite suitable. At least it would eliminate any negative impact that her appearance might have, making it easier for her to enter and leave the academy in the future.

"It's getting late, you should go back!"

The young wizard, still thinking about forging his own magic sword, coldly dismissed him.

Taiya and her group left, chatting and laughing. Their numbers emboldened them, and they disregarded the undead and ghosts around them.

After leaving the Wizarding Academy, the group parted ways at the crossroads.

Gus insisted on taking Taiya back to her dormitory. Greenfield, on the other hand, walked with Aglaia.

The two remained silent for a while until they reached a deserted section of the road, where Greenfield stopped.

"To be honest, I regret letting you stay by his side. But what's done is done, so we can only make the best of a bad situation."

"Yes, Madam..." Aglaia lowered her head deeply.

"Tai'an is the heir to the Earl's territory, and he can't possibly have only one woman in the future. I agree to let you join the family, but you must understand your place and report his every move to me on time." Greenfield's voice was cold, and his gaze was like a sword as he turned around.

"Yes!" Aglaia dared not meet the lady's sharp gaze. "I will be your eyes and ears, and I will never forget the kindness of your recommendation."

"Take care of yourself!" Greenfield's figure vanished in a blur.

Pale Courtyard No. 16.

Warm water filled the bathtub, and the silver-haired loli poked her head out from the foamy surface.

"That wretched Xiao An! He kisses girls like that, he's so indecent."

Silver Moon held up a floating, wriggling bubble in her palm and sprinkled it onto her hair.

"Miss, should we punish that boy? Lord Loon is very angry," the maid Rosana's voice came from behind the screen.

"No need! Grandpa Luo Ang is so old, how dare he bully a little kid?" Yin Yue retorted.

"I think so too," Rosanna agreed.

The main reason Loen didn't intervene was because he was wary of the Wizarding Division's strength. Furthermore, Bruno, the guardian of Taiya, was no ordinary person.

Late at night, on a quiet long street, Aglaia strode forward.

I rarely go home at night, mainly because it's unsafe.

Aside from the core Third Ring Road area, the rest of the capital city is practically unsafe at night. Theft, robbery, and even human trafficking and murder frequently occur.

In order to survive, some people will do anything.

The houses on both sides were low and single-story, and the doors of every household were tightly closed.

A foul stench emanated from the piles of garbage ahead, and a hunched figure could be seen struggling to rummage through something.

Aglaia sensed the scrutinizing gaze and silently quickened her pace.

The shadowy cloak provided cover, while the longsword at his waist added to his courage.

In the capital city, where powerful figures abound and all sorts of people mingle, unless one has absolute certainty and is driven by absolute self-interest, generally no one will challenge a professional.

Guided by her memory, the tea-haired girl finally arrived at her door and gently knocked.

"Who?"

"Mom, it's me."

A series of hurried footsteps sounded, and the middle-aged woman with tea-colored hair hurriedly opened the wooden bolt and invited her daughter into the house.

"What were you thinking? Don't you know it's dangerous to be alone at night?"

The light of the kerosene lamp came on, dispelling the darkness in the room.

My sister Arya was fast asleep, unconscious, with a thin, glistening thread of fluid trickling from the corner of her mouth.

Poor people have nothing to do at night, so they usually go to bed early. It's only around nine o'clock now; the inner-city nightlife is just beginning…

"Your sister is back!" The middle-aged woman nudged her youngest daughter.

Alia let out a soft hum, rubbed her eyes, sat up, and yawned: "Sis!"

"I found a part-time job, and the monthly income is thirty silver dollars." Aglaia took out a money bag from her pocket and placed it by the bedside, holding it tightly in her hand the whole way, afraid of encountering a skilled pickpocket.

"Great!" Arya exclaimed, instantly wide awake. "What kind of job did you find that pays so much?"

You should know that my mother worked hard washing clothes for others from dawn till dusk, and her monthly income was less than three silver dollars.

Her sister's part-time income was ten times that of her mother, which made her think deeply.
