Cultivators at the Wizarding Academy

Chapter 25 I can give you one chance

Chapter 25 I Can Give You a Chance

Footsteps could be heard outside the quiet ward.

Hua Yun, the head of the school hospital, walked side by side with Greenfield in the corridor.

"Miss Greenfield, your external injuries have basically healed, but your internal organs will probably need some more time to recuperate."

"How long will it take? Will there be any potential problems?"

"It might take one to two years. Your injuries were quite severe, but fortunately, they were treated promptly. I believe that with careful recuperation, you will most likely make a full recovery and it won't affect your future potential..."

"It's taking too long..." Greenfield slowly shook his head.

The crucial one to two years of recuperation are almost equivalent to giving up a career as a magic swordsman, and former top performers will gradually fall behind. However, if they do not recuperate properly, they may suffer from various hidden and internal injuries in the future, shortening their lifespan or impairing their development potential, making it a truly difficult choice.

"Taking some herbs that contain the essence of life will speed up the recovery time. If needed, I will keep an eye out for it for you," Hua Yun said tactfully, indicating that she could help.

"Thank you." Greenfield bowed deeply.

"You pretty girls, it's best not to fight. Some people are twisted and don't know their own strength when they strike." Hua Yun turned left and walked into a ward.

Aglaia turned her head with difficulty to look at the two people who had entered.

Hua Yun, a priestess, was once the most beautiful girl in the priestess division and one of the four beauties of the academy. After graduation, she chose to stay at the academy to work. She has an angelic, pure face, a voluptuous and mature figure, and an temperament as pure as a white lotus rising from the mud.

Another person has recently risen to fame. Greenfield, the eldest daughter of the Red Maple family. Her battle with Carlo Jones made her name famous. Her victory against overwhelming odds, and her heroic and valiant demeanor, have earned her the recognition and admiration of many female combatants.

Aglaia was one of them, and recalling their final battle still fills her with lingering excitement. Never giving up until the very last moment, she wielded her sword against fate. With such spirit and willpower, Grinfield will surely become a world-renowned powerhouse.

Suddenly, a flash of inspiration struck me.

Aglaia's gaze remained fixed on Grindelwald's face, her lips pressed tightly together.

"Oh my, junior, you're really lucky today. I just learned the Healing Spell, would you like to try it?" Hua Yun asked with a smile.

Aglaia nodded without hesitation: "Thank you, Senior Huayun. Everyone says you're a good person."

"I don't want to be a good person, I'm just in a good mood today..." Hua Yun placed her fair hand in front of the girl's lower abdomen, and life magic energy began to gather in large quantities, with a faint white light surrounding her.

The Healing spell is a spell that only elite-ranking clerics can master, and its effectiveness is far greater than Healing Hand and Rejuvenation.

Aglaia felt a surge of heat coursing through her body, a tingling sensation that quickly lessened the tearing pain in her muscles.

As expected of a high-level spell, the effect was immediate, far surpassing the healing touch of an ordinary school doctor.

"Thank you so much. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need my help in the future." The tea-haired girl looked grateful and sat up, supporting herself on the edge of the bed.

"Okay, I'll remember," Hua Yun said politely.

Greenfield felt a pang of regret. If Senior Sister Huayun had been present on the day of the duel, he might not have left any hidden dangers behind.

There is still a severe shortage of healers at Violet Academy.

Spellcasters are already highly sought-after, and priests and healers are among the less popular classes in the spellcasting profession.

There is a huge demand for related talent at both the civilian and national levels, which is almost entirely monopolized by the Holy Church. It is already quite an achievement that Violet Academy can retain a few elite-level healing sorcerers.

"Look at me, is there anything you want to say?"

Greenfield noticed Aglaia's hesitant expression.

"Miss Greenfield, I want to become your follower." The brown-haired girl murmured, looking at the other girl with trepidation.

"I'm sorry! I have no right to inherit any noble title and cannot promise you any resources."

Despite being the legitimate daughter of a noble family, Greenfield was well aware that she was merely a tool for a political marriage, used to facilitate the land transaction between the Blue Rose and Red Maple families. She could barely manage to use the family's resources herself, let alone purchase medicinal herbs imbued with life force for her future health. She might even have to ask her future husband for an advance.

"It's alright! I don't ask for resources, I only hope to follow you and receive your protection." Aglaia said urgently, seeing Greenfield as her lifeline.

"Pretty junior, you must be very troubled, right? When I was about your age, I was surrounded by a swarm of flies and bees every day, and I couldn't get rid of them no matter what I did." Hua Yun tapped her chin with her finger, lost in memories.

Feeling a similar predicament in Greenfield's heart, his cold expression softened slightly: "I can give you a chance, introduce you to my fiancé's side, and then transfer you to work as my servant."

Aglaia stared wide-eyed in disbelief, then excitedly rolled out of bed and performed a warrior's salute.

"Lord Grinfield, I will certainly not let you down."

The afternoon breeze was calm.

In the vast forest behind the Wizarding Academy, two figures darted swiftly through the trees.

"Butler, what skill!" Gus was shocked.

Despite their seemingly bulky build, the black and white bear-men leap and bound with effortless grace, displaying extraordinary agility and skill.

He was completely at a disadvantage; even with the boost to his physical abilities from his battle aura, he was far less relaxed and at ease than his opponent. He needed at least a few steps to take a leap and accelerate, making the difference between them obvious.

Gus secretly concluded that Mr. Musophie was at least an elite-level combatant.

"Young man, your strength is not bad either." Mussofi smiled modestly, casually waving his bamboo sword, his sharp battle aura constantly cutting through the tree branches, spider webs and other obstacles in front of him.

The two arrived at an open space and stood facing each other.

Mussophie put down her basket, took out a bamboo knife, and tossed it to Guts. Real weapons weren't suitable for sparring between friends; bamboo knives and wooden swords were better.

"Butler, you're strong! I'm going to use my full strength!" Guts assumed a sword-wielding stance.

Mussofi, with a casual air, lowered his bamboo sword: "Young man, you go first."

Gus adjusted his breathing, and his body shot forward like an arrow, charging towards Mussophie without hesitation.

The expected fierce battle did not occur. Mussofi narrowly dodged Guts's slash and seized the opening in his opponent's attack, breaking through with his sword.

Gus's expression froze. The sharp blade hovered near his neck, giving him the illusion of being beheaded, and he felt a chill and horror in his heart.

A crushing defeat in one fell swoop, a loss so decisive and so utter...

"Don't be discouraged, young man. You still have a lot of room for improvement."

Mussofi put away the bamboo knife, his expression one of gentle reassurance.
