Cultivators at the Wizarding Academy

Chapter 17: Fighting with the air

Chapter 17: Fighting with the air

Having once ambushed and killed many stronger enemies with her black dagger, Night Butterfly fears that one day the same fate will befall her.

Never expose your back easily.

We must never let our guard down, for a crisis can arise from a moment of complacency.

At this moment, she was absolutely certain that the other party was hiding in the shadows.

Time slips away quietly.

The half-elf ranger stood like a statue, waiting for his chance.

It was as if both sides were waiting for the other to reveal a weakness...

"You've miscalculated! The academy is our home turf, and someone will definitely come looking for us soon." Night Butterfly muttered to herself, reaffirming her confidence.

Little did they know, their goal had already been lost.

After the opening ceremony, students returned to their respective colleges. Next came entrance exams, and for law students, this also involved choosing a mentor.

Tai An easily shook off his pursuers, realized that the tracking was caused by his own scent, and immediately took action.

The Tier 0 Magic Dust-Free Garment isn't just for keeping out dust; it can also block out your own odor.

However, Tai'an rarely uses it. The cleanroom garment is like wrapping yourself in a plastic bag, lacking a sense of connection with nature. It's more comfortable to be more casual.

Entering a state of divine power, its speed increased dramatically once more. It leaped to the top of a large tree and began leaping between trees. Therefore, it left no trace on the ground.

"Young Master! You're back?" Mussofi stopped sweeping.

"Musofi, never underestimate your opponent," Tai'an suddenly remarked.

Even a random pursuer forced me to use all sorts of methods to get rid of them; the waters of Violet Academy are indeed unfathomable.

"Yes! I will do my best." The panda replied solemnly.

Take a short break and have some tea.

The sound of bells emanated from the Wizard Tower, its spatial perception weakening regardless of distance, resounding in the ears of everyone within the area, sending a chill down one's spine.

The school bell rings at the Hegel Wizarding School.

Tai'an put down his teacup and disappeared from the dining table...

A wide-open square lies directly in front of the gray obelisk building.

Rows of dark locust trees form a green belt around the square. A fountain in the center continuously spews out a thin mist.

The Wizarding Division never feels hot.

At this moment, most of the new students had already arrived, unlike the other houses. The wizards rarely gathered in groups of three or five, but instead intentionally kept their distance.

of course there are exceptions.

The small group of four pretty little girls attracted a lot of attention in the square.

Because of Tai'an, Dorothy and Silvermoon naturally came together and became allies who would advance and retreat together, along with a blonde girl named Leona and a pink-haired girl named Fu.

"The rumor that all witches are beautiful is really true!" The chubby blond wizard muttered to himself, a spellbook tucked under his arm.

Beside him, the slender little wizard adjusted his glasses.

Tai'an arrived quietly, thinking he hadn't attracted anyone's attention. He blended in with the chubby wizard and the skinny wizard, forming a sort of three-way triangle, which made him feel particularly safe. However, as trouble approached, the triangle crumbled.

"Hey! Do you know I hate rude people the most?" The silver-haired loli led her sisters to Tai'an and questioned him aggressively, "I've visited you twice, and Dorothy visited you once. You're supposed to be a nobleman, right? You didn't even offer the most basic return greeting."

"Hello, who are you?" Tai pretended not to know him, trying to fool him.

Four loli witches rushed up and surrounded the young wizard, while the two indifferent little wizards had already retreated to the side.

"Don't mess with me! Or you'll regret it!"

Strength brought confidence, and the young wizard's voice turned cold as he stared fiercely at the silver-haired loli.

"I, Silvermoon, have never been afraid of anyone!" The silver-haired loli retorted defiantly.

The two compared whose eyes were bigger, trying to intimidate the other.

The boy is currently at a disadvantage because the girl's muffled nasal voice is more powerful.

"Alright, quiet down, kids!"

Gargamel, the three-eyed raven, circled in the sky: "Let me count the people. Very good, everyone's here, full marks! How come there are two fewer people than last year, quack quack..."

"Young, pretty girl, who will eat my apple?" The old witch, with her wrinkled face and empty eyes, stood ghostly behind Silver Moon, a kind smile on her face.

The three little girls gasped and backed away.

Silver Moon realized there must be something terrifying there, and didn't dare to look back.

He headbutted Tai'an directly, then quickly hid behind him, shamelessly using the young boy as a shield.

"Once, I was as lively and lovely as you are, but beauty is fleeting. In the end, you will all decay and wither like me." The old witch's smile was forlorn. The red apple in her hand gradually dried up, as if eroded by time, turning into a puddle of foul-smelling mud that fell to the ground. It turned into black powder and scattered with the wind: "My name is Alice. The entrance test will begin soon. Children, prepare your wands."

It's a very common name.

Tai'an remembers that in his own family, there were several maids named Alice, and the rate of name duplication was quite high.

The young wizard ignored the silver-haired girl hiding behind him and took out his wand from his spatial ring. He gently tapped it on the ground, causing the poor-quality gray-white floor tiles to crack like a spiderweb, and the ground to tremble slightly.

Despite the incredulous gazes cast upon him from all around, Tai'an remained calm and composed.

"Oh! Young man, your wand is quite nice. Your taste is just like mine! That's right, treating a wand is like treating a wife—you must be faithful to her forever." Alice's voice was weathered, her tone full of undisguised admiration.

"The material of the locust tree core, and not just any locust tree core!" Gargamel landed lightly on the tip of his cane. "Let me see... Hmm, this is really interesting! The guys in the yard will definitely like you... May I ask if you're selling your wand? Lord Gargamel can offer a price that will satisfy you."

"Wands are the wizard's wives, how can they be bought and sold so casually?" Alice waved the three-eyed raven away impatiently, her gaze sweeping over her surroundings to make sure all the students had taken out their wands: "Very well, the test question is 'Calling the Sleeping Dead,' come with me."

The old woman in the black robe walked briskly ahead, leading the way.

Just as the young wizard was about to leave, the silver-haired loli grabbed his cloak tightly.

Tai'an showed no politeness, grabbing Yin Yue's hand and forcibly moving it away. It was a classic case of unrequited love. He didn't forget to warn, "Don't get in my way!"

The little girl's eyes gleamed with resentment as she glared at the boy.

It means the matter is not over.

The young wizard, carrying his magic wand, followed closely behind the old woman in black robes with swift steps.

Seeing how relaxed he was, most people subconsciously assumed that the wand couldn't be too heavy.

Only the purple-haired loli Dorothy seemed lost in thought, recalling the scene she had witnessed in the neighboring yard a few days ago, and the spiderweb cracks that had just appeared on the ground. For some reason, she felt a chill run down her spine at the magic wand on the boy's shoulder.
