Harry Potter, the savior of Night City

Chapter 209 Fudge, that idiot!

"This one?" Harry picked up the unconscious Voldemort and was about to speak when Dumbledore spoke first.

"Fudge, that's what I was just about to tell you." Dumbledore resumed his usual smiling demeanor. "The alert can be lifted. Voldemort has been captured alive. Harry caught him before he was fully resurrected. Now, Harry has Voldemort in his hands."

"You're joking with me? That's a really lame joke, Dumbledore," Fudge said with a forced smile, but Dumbledore remained unmoved. Fudge became suspicious. "You're joking with me, aren't you?"

Dumbledore, still smiling, said, "I'm too old for a joke."

"Ha, ha..." Fudge's forehead was covered in sweat, his brain working at high speed for the first time in a long time. Because of Voldemort, the wizarding world was in turmoil, making it impossible to carefully select a Minister of Magic. So as long as he didn't commit any fundamental offenses, he would remain Minister of Magic. But now, Voldemort had been captured. If this news were to be made public, the most prestigious people would become Dumbledore and Harry Potter. The next election wasn't far off. If it were announced now, Dumbledore would absolutely crush Fudge's votes if he participated in the next election. Not to mention, if a villain of Voldemort's caliber knew more about the Ministry of Magic, Fudge might not even be able to hold the position. Therefore, he needed to deny that this was Voldemort, and then find an opportunity to kill him. That way, Voldemort could stay in the Minister's chair for several more years, maybe even until retirement.

Thinking of this, Fudge raised his head and looked at Dumbledore. "Dumbledore, do you crave power that much? You even made up a story about a mysterious man! That's the Dark Lord, how could he possibly be captured by a mere child!"

Meanwhile, Fudge's thoughts were racing, only veering further and further off track: Thinking about it carefully, it couldn't possibly be Voldemort. Harry was powerful, even conquering Azkaban, and with Grindelwald's help, but that couldn't possibly defeat Voldemort. Yes, he definitely couldn't defeat Voldemort. So, it was all a lie. They went to such lengths to stage this deception to… yes! These guys wanted to seize power! Damn it, I almost fell for it! Damn it, for their own ministerial position, these guys even went so far as to use a baby to fool me? Damn it, a bunch of heartless bastards…

Fudge's gaze hardened. "Dumbledore! You're getting more and more outrageous! It's just a position, if you want it, do you think I'd refuse?! You, you actually conspired with these lunatics to kidnap an infant to deceive me?! You want to force me to abdicate and then steal my position, right?! For a position, you won't even spare an infant, I think you're the real Dark Lords! Return that infant... no, give it to me, the Ministry of Magic will take care of it!"

Dumbledore's smile vanished, and magic erupted from his body, pressing down on Fudge. But a moment later, he relaxed, withdrew the magic, and looked at Fudge with calm eyes. "Nobody wants your place. This is Voldemort. You can have Wizengamo interrogate you. Trust me, you will know the truth."

"Everyone knows that most of the people in Wisengamori are your students. It's very easy for you to do something underhanded. Now, give me that baby."

Dumbledore looked into Fudge's eyes with a glimmer of light, then after a long while, sighed in disappointment and shook his head. "You've even fooled yourself for power..."

Harry didn't want to argue with him anymore. He handed Voldemort to Grindelwald, stepped forward, and looked at Fudge. "Give me my money first, then you can continue your tug-of-war. I still have things to do at my school."

Fudge looked at Harry, opened his mouth as if to say something, but some bad memories flashed through his mind, and what came out was, "Congratulations on becoming the champion, here is your prize money." As he spoke, he took a large bag out of his pocket, and Harry took it and opened it. Inside was a bag full of Galleons, which should have been a thousand if there were no deductions.

After storing the money in his personal space, he turned back to pick up the volcano. He was somewhat irritated, irritated by Fudge, that idiot. In his opinion, if the magical world continued to be led by this good-for-nothing, then the magical world would truly be doomed.

Fudge continued to struggle with Dumbledore, but Dumbledore wouldn't budge an inch. The look of disappointment in Dumbledore's eyes made Fudge's heart pound. He was afraid that if he didn't leave soon, Dumbledore would chop him into mincemeat.

"In short, that's it, Dumbledore. I'm warning you, you've really gone too far this time. Return the baby to where he belongs, or you'll be waiting for a summons from Wizengamor!"

After saying that, Fudge turned around and stood still. He suddenly realized that no one except Dumbledore could Apparate within the Hogwarts area, so he immediately started moving and ran out of the headmaster's office as fast as he could.

"See? I told you, this guy's a complete idiot." Grindelwald patted Dumbledore on the shoulder, a strange look in his eyes. "Have you changed your mind yet? Don't worry, I'm here. I'll get revenge for you."

Dumbledore ignored him and turned to Harry. "Don't hurt innocent people or Muggles. I'll pretend I didn't see anything else. This is my final concession. The wizarding world can't afford any more losses."

Harry nodded and picked Voldemort up. "But in return, you'll have to help me out."

"Hogwarts will help you with enrollment, and will provide you with potions, spellbooks, and magical animals, but please, whatever you do, do not create a group of dark wizards. The wizarding world needs a period of rest and recuperation."

"Will you help me then?"

"No," Dumbledore replied firmly. "I can't openly take sides; that would be detrimental to you before you've even won. Of course, I won't help anyone either."

"That's enough." Harry said, looking at Grindelwald. "We can go back now. Soon, there's another battle to fight."

"You go back first, I'll stay a little longer," Grindelwald said, sitting down in Dumbledore's headmaster's chair.

Harry nodded, grabbed Voldemort, and left the Headmaster's Tower, pulling the communication coin from his pocket and holding it to his mouth.

"Everyone, assemble at the Holy Church meeting point and prepare to proceed to the Azkaban Magic Academy."

With that, Harry stuffed the gold coin back into his pocket, strode toward the antique clock, and with a wave of his hand, the clock opened like a door. He walked step by step into the underground passage, which was decorated in the same style as in the afterlife. The early members of the Holy Order were already waiting there. When they saw Harry arrive, they all stood up and bowed. Fred and George offered Harry a glass of wine, which Harry glanced at and splashed directly onto them. The two of them instantly turned into two canaries.

"I can see the magical circuits in this thing; you can't fool me."

The two large canaries returned to normal a minute later, grinning as they handed Harry another bottle of vodka.

"We have important business to attend to today, so let's not drink."

Harry said, sitting down in a chair to wait for all the members to arrive.

Fifteen minutes later, everyone had arrived. Luckily, it was final week and there were basically no classes, otherwise they probably would have had to ask for leave to come.

Once everyone was present, Harry stood up and looked at them.

"All the business here has been completed. We are ready to return to Azkaban Magic Academy. All those who can transfer, raise your hands. Those who cannot transfer, do not be discouraged. You will always be members of our Holy Church, and you will always be our capable assistants."

As soon as he finished speaking, "swish, swish, swish," more than a dozen hands shot up.
