Chapter 8 Abraham Whistler
Jon strode forward toward the bar.
Jon now has only one thing on his mind: to go into that bar, grab Deacon's head, and burn his brain with Ripple.
Of course, it's fine even without Deacon. He's already here, so cleaning up some pests won't hurt him.
"Hey! Kid! Hey, I'm talking to you, come here!"
A voice suddenly came from the alleyway next to Jon.
Jon turned away impatiently.
An old man wearing a faded leather jacket with his arms exposed was seen waving at him from behind a trash can.
If I had to describe one apt image at a time...
This guy looks exactly like the character in the movie "Mr. Six" directed by a certain director.
"I don't have any money for you, old man."
Jon waved his hand, ignoring the old man, and continued walking forward.
"Hey kid," the old man hissed, "do you fucking want to die?"
"Um?"
Upon hearing this, Jon stopped abruptly, took a deep breath, and turned to walk towards the old man.
He decided that if the old man couldn't answer the question correctly, he would definitely give him two hard punches.
When Jon walked up to the old man, he saw that the old man was so strong that he didn't look like an old man at all.
"That's incredible."
The old man looked Jon up and down with an incredulous gaze, clicking his tongue in amazement.
Jon squinted, grabbed the old man by the collar, and lifted him up:
"Speak up, old man, if you stopped me just to admire my physique, then you might as well lose your teeth."
The old man, far from being afraid, sized Jon up and down, then grinned and said:
"Ha! I knew it! I didn't expect there to be another mixed-race person who could jump around in the sunlight."
How can you be so sure?
He suddenly became curious about how he could tell at a glance that the old man dressed like a hippie was dressed like one.
The old man confidently replied:
"Because I am Abraham Whistler."
After saying that, the old man proudly raised his head, waiting to see Jon's shocked expression.
"Abraham Whistler?" Jon asked in surprise.
Seeing Jon's expression, Whistler immediately straightened his back, exuding an aura of authority.
A moment later, Jon Snow spoke again:
"Who is that? The lead singer of some heavy metal band? I think I've heard his album before."
"Damn it!" Whistler's face turned red, and he was so angry that he almost jumped up.
"Haven't you heard of it?"
"The greatest vampire hunter of the last century, Blade's mentor and partner, and the most outstanding expert in silver weapons."
As he spoke, as if to prove his point, he pulled a strangely shaped weapon out of his backpack.
"Take a look at this."
"The silver steel nails are injected with a high concentration of garlic extract. See? Just one shot of this stuff is enough to send a vampire to hell."
"Silver is so soft," Jon scoffed. "Could this thing even pierce a vampire's heart?"
"It can smash through everything!" the old man exclaimed, jumping up and down again.
"Alright." Jon nodded, then suddenly remembered something. "By the way, do you know where Deacon is?"
"I don't know, but we were looking for him too, and then we found this place."
As he spoke, Whistler pulled Jon along and pointed to the bar in the distance.
"See that bar? It's very important to Deacon, but it's almost entirely filled with drug addicts..."
"That's great," Jon interrupted his long-winded explanation. "It saves me the trouble of looking for it."
Whistler stared in disbelief as Jon stood up and walked straight toward the bar.
"Wait, wait, wait!" Whistler hurriedly grabbed Jon. "Are you just going to go like this?"
"What else can I do? Let them invite me in?"
"Don't worry, they're weak."
Seeing that Jon had made his decision, Whistler's expression also turned serious, and he asked:
"Kid, what's your name? I'll know so I can collect your corpse later."
"Yorvik." Jon turned around and smiled confidently. "Jon Yovik."
"Jo...JoJo?" Whistler pressed the earpiece on his ear.
"Did you hear that, Eric?" Whistler said, watching Jon's retreating figure. "He's gone in."
Jon walked out of the alley and headed straight for the bar's entrance.
"Hey handsome, wanna play something fun?"
A scantily clad hottie was about to press herself against Jon's body when Jon grabbed her chin with his fingers.
"A vampire?" Jon looked down at her with a playful expression.
The hot girl's expression changed.
She clearly realized something was wrong, but her mouth was covered, and she couldn't make a sound.
The hot girl's eyes suddenly looked pitiful, but then turned into fear.
Because the hot girl saw a very familiar look in his red eyes.
That's the way vampires look at food.
But now, it has appeared in the eyes of a human being.
She began to struggle violently, striking Jon with both hands.
But this was just tickling Jon's itch.
"How long has it been since you last got some sun? Hmm?"
As Jon spoke, golden electricity crackled in his hands, and ripples began to spread.
"what!"
The hot girl let out a wail as her body was instantly burned to ashes by the ripples within her.
"Baka yarou!"
A group of vampires wearing sunglasses walked over, speaking English with a Japanese accent.
"What on earth have you done?!"
The vampire in sunglasses shouted and threw a punch at Jon.
Jon ignored him, his hand reaching into his pocket as he casually uttered:
"Star Platinum!"
A muscular, purple-clad figure suddenly appeared behind him.
"Euro!"
While the lead vampire's fist was still in mid-air, Star Platinum delivered an even faster punch that landed directly on his head.
With a crack, the man's head shattered like a smashed watermelon.
"Ora ora ora ora ora ora ora!"
Star Platinum roared, unleashing countless unseen punches that rained down on the surrounding vampires.
"As expected, my mental strength has improved."
Jon thought to himself as he looked at the faster and stronger Star Platinum.
A moment later, the vampires surrounding Jon were all sent flying backward in the blink of an eye.
They lay limp on the ground, their bodies covered in countless fist marks.
Vampires—can't rise again!
Jon put away the Star of Platinum and strode inside.
As soon as he entered, he was hit with a cacophony of music that was constantly assaulting his eardrums.
"It's so noisy."
He took a deep breath, calmly walked up to the DJ, and punched him in the face, leaving the DJ somewhat bewildered.
The DJ's eyes widened, and he fainted. Jon finally turned off the music that was bothering him.
The room reeked of blood.
Jon Snow picked up the microphone and addressed the vampires and ordinary people below:
"Does anyone want to leave before we make our move?"
