That's enough for now.

Jon took out a banknote, handed it to the driver, and got out of the car.

Take care.

"Hmm." He nodded, walked onto the street, bought a wrap, and took a bite.

He was really hungry. He had only drunk alcohol last night, and his stomach would feel very uncomfortable if he didn't eat something.

"It tastes good." He took another big bite.

In the corner, a handsome man wearing a top hat and holding a cane was secretly observing him.

He was Remielborough, and to prevent Jon from leaking information and endangering him, he decided to keep a close watch on him personally.

It must be said that it was precisely this caution that kept him from being discovered by Stryker.

Therefore, he had to do this for his own safety.

Sudden--

"Hey! Hey! What the..."

Jon was eating a burrito when his cell phone suddenly rang in his pocket.

"Who is it?" He frowned.

As a JOJO who is somewhat possessive of his food, he hates being disturbed while eating.

"Feed?" he answered the phone, sounding somewhat annoyed. "Who is it? Huh!"

"Jon, it's me," Coulson's voice came through the phone. "Where are you now?"

"Now?" Jon looked around. "A street full of food stalls, what's wrong?"

"Do you remember the person you were drinking with?" Coulson asked seriously. "Do you remember?"

"Thor?" Jon asked, puzzled. "Something happened to him?"

"It wasn't him, it was someone else, a man named Remi Lebo."

"Did you know? He's a mutant, and an extremely dangerous one at that."

"Mutants? Extremely dangerous?" Jon paused in his chewing. "What?"

He looked up at the sun in a ridiculous way, even wondering if he had heatstroke.

"Am I suffering from heatstroke? Coulson, say that again?"

In the shadows, Remy held a fully charged playing card between his fingers, ready to strike.

His location had been exposed, but before that, he prepared to use his ability to blast Jon into the sky.

On the other end of the phone, Coulson glanced at Fury and lowered his voice:

"Rami LeBron, codenamed Gambit or White Devil, is an Alpha-class mutant."

"He escaped from Stryker's sea prison a few years ago and then disappeared without a trace. I never expected..."

"I never thought I'd run into this while I was having a drink?" Jon sighed.

Alright, this world even has Inhumans, so it's not surprising that there are multiple mutants.

Jon found his ability to accept things to be incredibly strong; he could explain it all with a simple explanation of the butterfly effect.

He's really not surprising!

“Actually…” Jon said confidently, “Remy isn’t that dangerous. He’s just a drunkard.”

"I didn't really feel much danger."

What he said was true. If there had been danger last night, Platinum Star would have acted long ago, instead of waiting until now.

Upon hearing this, Remy paused, clutching the playing cards, staring at Jon's retreating figure with a complex expression.

"Not only was he an alcoholic, he was also a gambling addict, a notorious gambler, Jon."

Colson added.

"Uh..." Jon choked for a moment, "Okay, I know he's an alcoholic and a gambler, but at least he hasn't caused any trouble."

"In the entire West, besides that restless Stand user, has anyone even heard of Gambit?"

"Well."

On the other end of the phone, Coulson was silent for a moment, then spoke at Fury's prompting:

"Although we have a good relationship, I still have to ask... are you willing to vouch for him?"

"Of course I'd like to," Jon replied without hesitation. "Although I've only met him once, I think he's a pretty good guy."

"Just like you vouched for me back then, I'm willing to vouch for him too. Let's give him a chance."

Remy's pupils contracted, his knuckles clenched until they turned white, and his face was filled with disbelief.

He doesn't understand, he doesn't comprehend!

In this modern society, how can anyone be so naive as to be willing to vouch for a drunkard they've only met once?

How can someone like JoJo exist? This is just too, too...

Remy's gaze grew increasingly intense. He frowned, his eyes fixed on JOJO with an ambiguous expression.

Perhaps Remy's gaze was too intense, for Jon suddenly turned around.

"Um?"

Jon scanned the pedestrians on the street, and gradually, his gaze finally settled on the dark alleyway.

"Is it over there?"

Jon's eyes flashed, and without hesitation, he strode into the alley.

"Jon? What happened?" Coulson's voice was filled with worry.

"It's nothing, I'm just going to take a look."

In the alley, Remy was pressed tightly against the wall, listening to the approaching footsteps, his face tense.

Sudden--

"Woof!"

A Boston Terrier darted out from beside Jon's feet, snatched the burrito from his hand in the blink of an eye while he was distracted, and disappeared without a trace.

Only the lingering aroma of coffee remained in front of Jon.

"Huh? Coffee flavored?" Jon squeezed his empty hands, his hangover brain a little slow to process. "...Huh?"

"Where's my biscuit?!" Jon grabbed a passerby by the collar. "Did you steal it?"

A hungover Jon Snow displayed his golden spirit!

"W-what kind of pancake?" The passerby hurriedly waved his hands, "I already ate breakfast!"

Jon narrowed his eyes, and the phantom of the Star of Platinum flashed behind him, instantly capturing every detail of the man.

"This person," Jon thought to himself.

The other person walked slowly, with a thin layer of sweat on their forehead, grease stains at the corners of their mouth, and meat sauce and tomato sauce stuck to their beard.

broken!

"Sorry." Jon released his grip and apologized readily. "I mistook you for someone else."

"You're crazy!" The passerby shook off his hand and walked away quickly. "What does it have to do with me that the dog king took it?"

"What pancake?" Coulson pressed on the phone. "What's going on on your end?"

"Someone's been watching me," Jon said in a low voice. "It's not my imagination; he's already slipped away."

"What! Jon! You stay where you are, I'm coming right now." With that, Coulson abruptly hung up the phone.

Jon sighed and casually found a step to sit down.

He found that everything was going wrong today. First, he discovered that he was being followed, and just as he was about to track down the guy, a black dog stole his breakfast.

"Seriously, what bad luck."

Jon rubbed the runes on his shoulder in frustration.

Will this thing fade? Or is that old one-eyed man just playing a trick on the silly kid?

Thinking of this, he took out his cigarette case and smoked one cigarette after another.

Just as he drew his fifth stick, a Chevrolet screeched to a halt in front of him, its tires screeching as it swerved.

The car window rolled down, revealing Coulson's face, which was wearing sunglasses: "Get in."

"Not bad." Jon stubbed out his cigarette, opened the car door, and got into the back seat.

With the engine roaring, the Chevrolet sped away through the swirling yellow dust.

inside the car.

"Hey," Jon leaned closer to the driver's seat and lowered his voice, "Phil, can I borrow your Level 8 access?"

"What?" Coulson slammed on the brakes, the tires screeching against the sand.

"Are you crazy? Don't you know that access privileges can't be lent out?"

“Phil,” Jon looked him straight in the eye, “I have a friend who was taken away from her parents by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents when she was a child.”

"I promised her I would look for clues about her parents."

"Her? Sigh."

Coulson glanced at him in the rearview mirror for a moment, then suddenly tossed a S.H.I.E.L.D. customized phone into the back seat.

"Give."

"Thanks." Jon immediately grabbed his phone.

Now that we've obtained level eight access, we should be able to find some clues.

But then, a red warning popped up on Jon's phone's system interface.

That's a message that pops up when no password has been entered.

Jon paused for a moment, then looked up and asked:

"Phil... what's the password?"

"Hmph." Coulson took a leisurely sip of his coffee.

"I won't tell you my password, Jon."

Why not...?

"Because I'm not telling you."

Coulson interrupted him directly, but his face showed a conflicted expression.

It's not that he didn't want to tell, it's just that his password was too...

"Sigh." Coulson sighed again.

After a moment, he finally prepared himself mentally and began to speak:

"The password is, Steve Steve Steve, I love Steve, 0704."

The car was deathly silent.

"Pfft—" Jon's lips began to twitch.

This cipher made even the usually inarticulate Jon Snow laugh!

"Ha ha ha ha......"
