Chapter 2.002: Introduction to Runic Language

A brief silence fell over the deck, followed by a burst of excitement.

Lily exclaimed in surprise, "So many?"

Nicole nodded: "Of course! This is the wizarding world!"

She paused, then continued, "However, the scale of these wizarding organizations varies greatly. Powerful wizarding organizations have tens of thousands of members, control several vast wizarding territories, and govern dozens of human kingdoms with hundreds of millions of people."

"Smaller wizarding organizations are often just an old wizard with a dozen or so apprentices in a wizarding tower in the middle of nowhere. They don't even have their own independent wizarding domain and sometimes have to live under the roof of others, wandering around without a fixed abode."

She cautioned, "Therefore, you must be very careful in choosing a wizarding organization. If you go to an unreliable wizarding organization, you'll be in big trouble, and the possibility of advancing to the wizarding profession will be virtually nonexistent."

Everyone's faces looked a little tense.

Rosie asked, "What are some of the better wizarding organizations?"

"The best one is definitely the Elemental Castle. They are the most powerful wizarding organization in the South Coast Alliance, occupying the most fertile wizarding domain in the entire South Coast. If we can get into here, the resources on our future path to becoming a wizard will be guaranteed."

Everyone looked on with longing. The wizard Seno had mentioned the Elemental Castle to them before, and it was a place that almost every apprentice wanted to go.

But then, Ryan said dejectedly, "We probably don't have a chance at Elemental Castle. Wizard Seno said that you need a score of 80 or 90 or higher to get in, and Lily and I only have a score of 70."
