The Peerless Tang Sect: Possessing Huo Yuhao at the Start

Chapter 162 Tang Wutong's Divine Consciousness Split

"I am Tang Wutong, or perhaps Wang Dong'er, or maybe Wang Qiu'er. Ever since I became conscious, I have always felt a strange sensation deep within my soul."

It was an indescribable sense of separation, as if I was not whole. Later I learned that my consciousness had been split by my father, Tang San.

When I learned the truth, my world seemed to collapse instantly. I didn't understand why my father would treat me like this; I'm his daughter.

I felt the pain of being torn apart; one part of my consciousness was sealed within a disciple of the Haotian Sect in the lower realm, while the other remained within the body of an imperial auspicious beast in the Star Dou Great Forest. The feeling was strange; I could vaguely sense their presence, yet I couldn't truly control them.

Every time I think of it, I am filled with endless sorrow and confusion. I often ask myself, who am I? Am I the complete Tang Wutong, or this fragmented existence?

The pain of having my soul torn apart has haunted me, keeping me awake countless nights. I tried to understand my father's actions, but I just couldn't comprehend why he would treat me in such a cruel way.

I feel like a broken doll, trying so hard to piece myself back together, yet it's so difficult. I wander in this struggle and pain, not knowing how to face the future, nor when this state of division will end.

I hate what my father did, but deep down I long to one day truly find myself again, to find the carefree Tang Wutong I once was...

I kept questioning myself, why was my fate like this? Was I not good enough? Or was it all just an inescapable destiny?

As the days went by, I occasionally tried to feel the part that had been separated, and tried to understand the deeper meaning behind my father's actions.

I once saw Huo Zhanji, who was hailed as the chosen one of destiny in Douluo Continent, through Wang Dong'er's perspective. He seemed to have divine assistance, which made me feel more confused and bewildered. Why could he be so successful, while I had to endure this pain of separation?

I continued to struggle and wander in this abyss of pain. Every attempt to approach that fragmented consciousness seemed to be separated by an insurmountable barrier. Countless times I cried out in my heart, longing to find my whole self again, but reality was always so cruel.

Sometimes, I think that perhaps all of this is a test for me, a trial I must go through on my path to growth. But such thoughts do not alleviate the pain in my heart in the slightest.

My mind still tosses and turns every night, the tearing sensation deep within my soul still haunting me. I struggle onward in this confusion and pain, the severed part of me seemingly on a distant shore, impossible to truly reach.

I immediately directed my divine soul to briefly leave Wang Dong'er's body and begin searching for the secrets and solutions to the soul splitting. As time passed, I discovered that the split consciousness seemed to have its own will, and it was unwilling to easily return. This made me feel incredibly frustrated and depressed. Was I really destined to remain incomplete forever?

But I was not resigned to it; I was not resigned to accepting fate's arrangement. I continued to strive, constantly trying various methods, attempting to break down the barrier that separated me from divine consciousness.

However, everything I did seemed so futile in front of that person. He used a secret technique to forcibly interfere with my consciousness, causing my soul to fall into a deep sleep.

During that long slumber, I felt as if I had fallen into an endless abyss of darkness. In my dreams, there were fragmented pieces of memory, flickering but impossible to piece together.

When I finally awoke, I felt as if I had lost a part of my strength, and that weakness filled me with immense panic. I gritted my teeth and tried to pull myself together; I couldn't give in like this.

I re-examined my situation and considered how to deal with it. I knew I couldn't keep trying blindly; I had to find a more effective way to fight that person.

It wasn't until the arrival of the Emperor Beast, Wang Qiu'er, who possessed half of my divine power, that I saw a glimmer of hope. After that, I waited for the right moment, and when he left the two of them, I felt that my opportunity had arrived.

While the two were carrying out the rescue operation, I seized the opportunity to interfere with their actions using my divine sense. At the most critical moment, I forcibly merged the two divine senses, thinking that I would succeed. However, unexpectedly, the person returned in time and forcibly stopped everything.

At that moment, I felt like I was finished. I might not even be able to keep my last bit of consciousness. But that person just glanced at me and merged my consciousness with the part of my consciousness that belonged to me inside the two women's bodies.

I stared blankly at the scene before me, my mind filled with shock and confusion. I didn't understand why that person had suddenly changed his attitude; he had been trying so hard to stop me just moments before.

But at this moment, I couldn't think too much. I seized this hard-won opportunity and tried my best to merge with the divine consciousness that had been gathered together. The feeling of fulfillment made me very excited.

As the fusion progressed, my memories gradually became complete, and those once blurry fragments became clearer. I saw the happy times I had as Tang Wutong.

Finally, after a long and arduous process, I successfully merged all my consciousness together. I knew that I had finally regained my complete self.

I opened my eyes and looked at everything around me, my heart filled with mixed emotions. I looked at that person, wanting to ask him why he did this, but he only glanced at me before placing my consciousness into her Heavenly Dao Space.

I remained quietly in the Heavenly Dao Space, feeling my complete self, my heart filled with both joy and感慨 (gǎnkǎi, deep emotion). I began to re-examine everything I had experienced in the past, and those pains and struggles seemed to have gradually faded away.

When that person, Huo Zhanji, the chosen one of Douluo Continent, returned to his previous incarnation, the Heavenly Dao, the Primordial Beginning, my divine consciousness was liberated, and he reshaped my physical body.

"You're not at fault. You shouldn't pay for their actions. Just live your life well."

I gazed at Huo Zhanji before me, my heart filled with complex emotions. His words echoed in my ears, leaving me deeply moved.

I slowly took a step forward, feeling the reality of having a complete body, as if I were reborn. I looked back at all the hardships I had experienced. Those days of pain and struggle seemed to be far away, but they left an indelible mark on the depths of my soul.

I began to travel through the world he created, trying to find the happiness I once had and to make up for the lost time. As time went by, I gradually let go of the resentment and bitterness in my heart.

One day, I came to a tranquil lake. The water was crystal clear, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. I sat quietly by the lake, feeling the gentle breeze, and my thoughts drifted away.

I thought of my father, Tang San. Although I once harbored resentment towards him, he was still my father. Perhaps he had his own difficulties and considerations at the time.

In the days to come, I will carry this renewed sense of wholeness with me as I pursue my own happiness.

I believe that no matter how many difficulties and challenges lie ahead, I will be able to face them bravely, because I am no longer the broken version of myself, but a brand new Tang Wutong.
