Chapter 13 The Sutra of Sinking into the Sea of Sin, The Venerable Ancestor Discusses the Way of Literature, The Budding of the Way of Literature

Nuwa felt the torrent of life flowing into her mind and spirit, and saw many scriptures. From the lines, she felt the vastness of life, and from life, she felt the mystery of creation.

Such scriptures instantly stirred many emotions in Nuwa. Yet, she couldn't help but be startled: "These scriptures..."

"I've passed it on to you. Consider it repayment for your kindness in guiding us this time. It's also a advance payment, hoping that the Immortal Venerable of Creation can take us with him on his next visit."

"After all, my purpose in coming to Kunlun is to seek out more cultivators to discuss the Dao and accumulate self-awareness and insights. However, I am not familiar with many cultivators in Kunlun. Therefore, I have entrusted this task to the Creation Immortal Venerable and Fellow Daoist Nuwa."

"this……"

Nuwa glanced sideways upon hearing this, unsure how to respond, especially given the profound mystery of the scriptures transmitted by Di Qing, and a vague feeling of not knowing how to express her gratitude. Therefore, upon hearing Di Qing's request, she instinctively wanted to grant it. However, this matter was ultimately not her decision, and she could only passively look to the Creation Immortal Venerable.

The Immortal Venerable of Creation smiled, his gentle gaze seeming to recall something: "Young friend Di Qing, you are too kind. This is nothing, and there's no need for such a small matter..."

"What do these scriptures mean to me?" This statement effectively silenced the complaints of the Creator Immortal and Nuwa. But Di Qing was right; the scriptures he created meant absolutely nothing to him.

Di Qing created countless wondrous methods, but aside from the cultivation methods crucial to the Wu Clan, he wouldn't concern himself with the others. Di Qing only sought the profound insights and wisdom contained within these cultivation methods…

He also enjoyed the flow and burst of wisdom during the process of creating cultivation methods. As for the final outcome of the wisdom, Di Qing truly didn't care.

The Creator Immortal was unaware of these things, and Nuwa was even less aware. Out of gratitude, she was naturally willing to travel with Di Qing.

After that, with the guidance of the Creation Immortal Venerable, Di Qing and his party traveled to various places in the Dang Kunlun region.

Head to the Daoist temple of the Linglong Ancestor to study the Linglong Mystic Tree, a supreme spiritual root treasured by the Linglong Ancestor. This divine tree may seem to be named after Linglong, but in reality, it is a divine tree containing wisdom.

This was the first time Di Qing had encountered a spiritual root capable of propagating wisdom and enhancing the wisdom of others. In particular, the fruits nurtured by the Exquisite Divine Tree, resembling beating hearts, were called 'Nine-Aperture Exquisite Hearts.' Consuming such fruits could enhance a cultivator's wisdom and comprehension, and even grant them a Nine-Aperture Exquisite Heart.

Such a profound innate spiritual root made Di Qing envious. However, Di Qing could not seize it; he could only concentrate on comprehending and experiencing the mystery of this spiritual root. At the same time, he discussed the Dao with the Linglong Ancestor, talking freely about the Linglong Dao and the Dao of Wisdom.

During this time, Di Qing also shared many classic texts and insights. Linglong Ancestor felt that the classic texts Di Qing presented were precious, so she also took out her own treasured classic texts and they talked together.

After discussing the Dao for a long time, Di Qing combined the various classics created by the Linglong Ancestor with the Daoist system to create a scripture called the "Linglong Wisdom Scripture".

This scripture contains sections on cultivating the mind, cultivating the spirit, cultivating wisdom, and so on. By practicing this scripture, one can refine a refined mind. With a refined mind, one can enhance one's wisdom, comprehend more methods, and then return to the soul, leading to a qualitative transformation of oneself.

Such a method specifically for cultivating wisdom and the mind is truly rare. After creating this method, Di Qing didn't hesitate to pass it on to Ancestor Linglong, leaving her both shocked and subtly conflicted. This scripture is profound, capable of being created with the immortal cultivation system at its core; it is definitely a scripture from the immortal cultivation system.

If one were to cultivate this method, it would be equivalent to cultivating the immortal path system, which troubled the Linglong Ancestor.

After Di Qing took his leave, even Linglong Ancestor found it difficult to make a decision.

……

Di Qing discussed the Dao with the Ancestor of Affection and Righteousness. This Ancestor of Affection and Righteousness was not well-known, but he was one of the most powerful ancestors in terms of cultivation.

The Ancestor of Love and Righteousness cultivated the Great Dao of Emotion, his heart moving with his feelings. One moment he might be a compassionate person, the next a heartless one. He could also manifest various emotions, appearing very changeable.

The Patriarch of Affection and Righteousness warmly welcomed Di Qing and his party, inviting Di Qing to visit his dojo and witness the many scenes that evolved from emotions, as well as his treasured top-grade spiritual root, the Tree of Seven Emotions and Six Desires.

This spiritual root evolves into the seven emotions and six desires, influencing cultivators and causing them to experience endless passions. If one consumes the "Fruit of Karmic Bonds" nurtured by the Tree of Seven Emotions and Six Desires, their mind will instantly be consumed by endless passions, disturbing their spirit and leading to their downfall. However, if one can resist these emotional fluctuations, they can further advance their mind and their Dao heart.

It can be said that this top-grade spiritual root, the Seven Emotions and Six Desires Tree, is very interesting, and Di Qing likes it very much.

Of course, Di Qing wouldn't take what others wanted. He only comprehended a little, and then, at the invitation of the Ancestor of Affection and Righteousness, they discussed the Dao together.

The Ancestor of Love and Righteousness spoke at length about the Great Dao of Love, and Emperor Qing listened attentively, also sharing his insights on the Great Dao of Love. They also exchanged scriptures and discussed the Dao of Immortality.

Through all these means, Di Qing gained a great deal. As Di Qing was about to depart, he used his wisdom to create all living beings.

The Sutra of Affection and Righteousness, The Sutra of Heartless Heaven and Earth, The Sutra of Sinking into the Sea of Sin, The Sutra of Nine Revolutions of the Sun and Moon…

Among the many scriptures, the Sutra of the Emotions and Meanings of All Beings is the core, using the seven emotions and six desires of all beings as nourishment to cultivate, refine, and strengthen the self, ultimately leading to self-transformation.

The "Heaven and Earth Without Emotions Scripture" severs all human emotions and desires, transforming one into a heartless and ruthless individual, with only the Great Dao in their heart. Even the endless changes of the primordial world cannot stir a single change within them.

The *Sutra of Sinking into the Sea of Sin* draws upon the seven emotions and six desires of sentient beings, manifesting a sea of sin, causing the self to transform into the seven emotions, and causing the self to transform...

It gives rise to desires. From then on, every action and movement contains the seven emotions and six desires, stirring the hearts of all beings.

The "Nine Revolutions of the Sun and Moon Scripture" is the only dual cultivation method among the many cultivation techniques created by Emperor Qing. It draws in the energy of the sun and the energy of the moon, arouses desire, and allows them to unite.

As always, Di Qing didn't hide anything after creating this scripture. He passed it on to the Ancestor of Affection and Righteousness, which moved him deeply. He also passed it on to Nuwa and the others, who were shocked but also quite shy.

Especially after seeing the Nine Revolutions Sun and Moon Scripture, they dared not look at Di Qing.

Di Qing disregarded these matters; they were all methods of cultivation, so there was no need to overthink them. After communicating with the Creation Immortal Venerable, he visited others again.

In the blink of an eye, countless years have passed.

Following the Creation Immortal Venerable, Di Qing visited dozens of patriarchs in succession. He discussed the Dao with them, traded their respective inheritances, and even created new laws with them.

As a result, numerous cultivation methods were born, including those related to wisdom, loyalty, thunder, origin, and countless scriptures from which the Great Dao proliferated.

Each scripture was created with the Immortal Dao system at its core, and cultivating these scriptures meant cultivating the Immortal Dao system. Therefore, Di Qing never hid these methods of cultivation, but instead passed them all on to the patriarchs who discussed the Dao with him, as well as to Nuwa and the other cultivators who followed him.

Indeed, these were the many cultivators who followed Di Qing. Di Qing frequently visited various patriarchs to discuss the Dao, and he didn't hide it, so naturally many interested cultivators noticed. As a result, many Kunlun cultivators came seeking Di Qing's guidance.

This resulted in many cultivators following Di Qing to visit various patriarchs, listening to Di Qing and the patriarchs discuss the Dao, and asking each other many questions.

Each visit was a discussion of the Dao. The many cultivators who followed also benefited greatly. Furthermore, Di Qing also wanted to...

Seeing the spread of the immortal cultivation system, he then passed on the many immortal cultivation methods he had created.

As a result, more Kunlun cultivators chose the cultivation system and embarked on the path of immortality.

And Di Qing also took advantage of such opportunities to discuss the Dao and transmit the Dharma to gain more inheritance and knowledge from many ancestors and countless cultivators, thus accumulating endless wisdom.

Now, within the Temple of Wisdom, the flowing river of wisdom has transformed into a lake, and the divine light emanating from it shines ever brighter. Such a change is enough to demonstrate the magnitude of Di Qing's gains this time.

Of course, spreading the methods of cultivation in this way attracted more cultivators to pursue immortality. It also solidified Di Qing's status as a patriarch of cultivation.

Being addressed as the Immortal Ancestor by countless cultivators, Di Qing gradually grew accustomed to it... Of course, Di Qing had a deep-seated feeling that if this practice continued, he, as the founder of the Immortal Path, would also reap many benefits.

At this moment, Di Qing stayed in the Daoist temple of the Confucian Ancestor, and they discussed the Great Dao of Literature.

Among the many patriarchs, the Venerable Master Hongru was an extremely low-key one. The Great Dao he cultivated was the Great Dao of Literature, inspiring the Way of Literature, transforming endless classics, and leaving listeners with countless emotions.

Di Qing had always wanted to create the Wu Clan's script, so he was naturally very interested in the literary philosophy of the venerable Confucian master. During their conversation, he vaguely sensed that the insights described by the venerable Confucian master bore a resemblance to the literary philosophy systems of later generations.

"Young friend Di Qing, my Way of Literature is to transform the Way into literature, and to evolve the Great Way through literature. In times of battle, reciting texts elucidates the mysteries of the Great Way, transforming them into endless divine powers of the Great Way. It can be said that my Way of Literature can carry the endless Great Way and also evolve the Great Way. Moreover, reciting classics can also lead to enlightenment of the Way of Literature..." The venerable Confucian master described the Way of Literature he created, as well as the classics he created.

As Di Qing listened, he couldn't help but recall a literary cultivation system described in later generations. This system involved writing articles to generate endless literary energy, using golden words to transform the articles into endless wondrous methods.

Di Qing listened intently, his interest growing: "The methods of literature taught by the esteemed scholar are truly profound. My understanding of literature is ultimately quite shallow. However, literature is ultimately about using literature to convey the Way, to carry the Great Way..."

Di Qing shared his understanding of the Way of Literature, and during their conversation, they also exchanged inheritances. Di Qing received the inheritance of the Way of Literature from the Grand Confucian Ancestor, sensing the shadow of the Way of Literature system within it. Unfortunately, it was merely a shadow; to truly create a complete system of the Way of Literature, much more accumulation of knowledge in the Way of Literature was needed.

In particular, the core of the literary system is writing. Without writing, no matter how many articles there are, they are difficult to write.

Di Qing pondered in his heart, but he did not stop discussing the Dao. He even prepared with the Hongru Ancestor to create a new cultivation method.
