Huo Yuhao's voice rang out, "It's alright, I've got everything covered."

Within the capital city, there are many tall buildings that cannot be seen in other countries. Thanks to the widespread use of soul tools, the Sun Moon Empire is also leading the continent in terms of architecture.

Nana walked to another street corner. This time, she first put on a white hood, and then a conical hat with a veil hanging down. Then she quickly walked towards the place she had mentioned earlier.

The courtyard was inconspicuous among the surrounding buildings. Nana raised her hand and knocked lightly on the door, knocking five times in total, three long and two short.

The door quietly opened a crack, and Nana slipped through it in a flash.

Pushing open the heavy wooden door, a wave of moist air, carrying the scent of earth and grass, rushed out. Contrary to the expected cramped courtyard, a bright and open space stretched before me. Tall trees, their branches and leaves intertwining to form a green dome above the courtyard, cast dappled shadows through the leaves. A winding stone path led deeper into the courtyard. Along the path, various exotic flowers and plants—red, yellow, and purple—competed in their vibrant colors, filling the air with a delicate, refreshing fragrance.

The crisp chirping of birds added a touch of life to the tranquil courtyard. A young man dressed in black stood beside the gate, his face mostly obscured by a large straw hat, revealing only his sharply defined chin. Upon seeing Nana, he nodded slightly in greeting, then stepped aside to reveal a path leading deeper into the courtyard. Nana nodded in return, walking along the flagstone path into the courtyard. Her footsteps made a soft "tap-tap" sound, particularly clear in the quiet courtyard. After about fifteen minutes, a black, domed building came into view, its silhouette against the surrounding greenery.

The atmosphere was exceptionally solemn and dignified. The building's doors were open, and Nana took a deep breath and stepped inside. As soon as she entered, a faint scent of sandalwood wafted through the air, calming her mind. The room was dimly lit, with two figures in white robes standing on either side, their faces obscured by white headscarves. Upon seeing Nana, one of them reached out to stop her, while simultaneously extending his other hand, gesturing for her to show her identification. Nana understood, reaching into her robes to pull out a round token and handing it over. The token was jet black, cool to the touch, and engraved with two skulls, which appeared somewhat menacing in the dim light. Nana lowered her voice and said in an almost pious tone, "May the Holy Emperor live ten thousand years, and may the Holy Maiden's beauty endure forever." Upon hearing this, the two figures in white immediately bowed deeply.

They all said in unison, "May the Holy Emperor live ten thousand years, and may the Holy Maiden's beauty last forever." One of them took the token, examined it carefully, and then respectfully handed it back to Nana, saying, "Quasi-Spirit Lord, the Great Holy Spirit and the Second Holy Spirit are waiting. Please come with me." After saying that, he turned to the side and made a "please" gesture.

Nana stepped across the threshold and into the room. The simple furnishings surprised her; a few tables and chairs were neatly arranged, and there were almost no other decorations. If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, Nana would have found it hard to believe this was the secret stronghold of the Holy Spirit Cult. She walked to a table in the center of the room and placed her hand on it.

With a creaking sound of a mechanism turning, the four table legs slowly sank into the ground, splitting the once-flat tabletop to reveal a dark entrance from which a faint light shone. Nana took a deep breath and bent down to enter. The entrance led to a narrow passageway, with dim oil lamps lit at intervals along the walls, barely illuminating the way. Nana descended about five meters down the passageway, and suddenly, a spacious underground hall appeared before her. The hall was at least three hundred square meters in size, much larger than the rooms above. The walls were inlaid with luminous stones that emitted a soft glow. In the center of the hall sat a long table, with two people seated on either side.

Like Nana, they were both dressed in white with hoods on their faces, but each had silver decorative patterns on their white clothes, suggesting they were of higher status than Nana. These two must be the Great Holy Spirit and the Second Holy Spirit. Nana dared not be negligent and quickly stepped forward, respectfully bowing, "Holy Servant Number Six greets the Great Holy Spirit and the Second Holy Spirit." The more robust man sitting on the left raised his head and said in a deep voice, "You're here? Go in yourself, there's nothing much to see." He paused, picked up a wine glass, drank the wine in one gulp, and continued, "You'd better hurry up and work hard. When you officially become one of us, you'll naturally understand everything." Nana respectfully nodded and replied, "Thank you for the guidance, Great Holy Spirit."

After finishing, she turned and walked towards a small door beside the two Holy Spirit disciples. Just as she was about to reach the door, the Second Holy Spirit, sitting on the other side, suddenly called out to her, "Wait a moment." Nana's heart tightened, but she remained outwardly calm. She turned around and asked calmly, "Second Holy Spirit, what is it?"

The Second Holy Spirit was tall and thin, with sunken cheeks and a pair of triangular eyes that gleamed with a sinister light. He said in a gruff voice, "I think I smell a living person." Sitting opposite him, the First Holy Spirit was bloated, with an oily face and a big belly. He said irritably, "Come on, kid, are you drunk? You really think you're a dog?"

"Nose!" The Second Holy Spirit stood up, his hooked nose twitching violently. Suddenly, he shouted, "No! Someone has definitely come in! Boss, seal off the altar!" As he spoke, he flashed forward like a black lightning bolt. His right hand shot out, his arm extending nearly a meter, aiming straight for Nana's head. His hand bones were unusually long, his knuckles protruding, and the veins on the back of his hand bulged. The extended part of his hand was as black as ink and carried a strong, fishy smell. Nana's long, wine-red hair cascaded over her shoulders, highlighting her delicate, flawless face. At this moment, her beautiful eyes were wide open, her face filled with panic, as she retreated. She cried out in a sob, "Great Holy Spirit, save me! I didn't do anything!" The Great Holy Spirit's fat face was covered in bulging flesh, and his small eyes were narrowed into slits. Clearly, he trusted his brother far more than Nana. He moved aside...

His obese body, like a small mountain, blocked the small doorway, and six spirit rings—two yellow, two purple, and two black—had already risen from his body. But at that moment, a golden fist suddenly appeared beside him without warning, slamming towards his head. The instant the golden fist appeared, the Great Saint cried out in alarm, and his obese body instantly transformed into a wisp of smoke, fleeing into the distance. The golden fist struck the air, and the entire underground hall seemed to tremble violently. Ten meters away, when the Great Saint reappeared, he screamed in agony, spitting out a mouthful of blood. He tumbled and collapsed to the ground, his obese face now completely bloodless, blood still dripping from the corner of his mouth, a truly wretched sight. Even though the punch hadn't hit his physical body...

It still wounded him. Huo Yuhao's figure appeared in the darkness. He had short black hair, sword-like eyebrows, and bright eyes, with a handsome face, though his complexion was somewhat pale. He hadn't expected that his long-prepared attack, "Reign of Heaven," his first formal assault after the spiritual transformation, wouldn't kill his opponent as he had anticipated. On the other side, Nana stopped pretending. A crimson light flashed like a bolt of lightning, slashing towards the Second Holy Spirit's jet-black right claw.

The Crimson Flame Blade clashed with the Second Holy Spirit's right hand, producing a sickening metallic scraping sound. The Second Holy Spirit's once pale right hand instantly turned pitch black, its skin cracked like old tree bark, emitting a nauseating stench. Immediately afterward, six strangely colored spirit rings rose from beneath his feet, each burning with black flames.

Like karmic fire from hell, the flames spread rapidly, completely engulfing the Second Holy Spirit's body. Within the black flames, the Second Holy Spirit's body trembled violently, emitting a beast-like roar. His clothes turned to ash in the flames, revealing his muscular physique. However, the skin of this body withered at a visible rate, the muscles shriveled, and in an instant, it became a skeleton. The skeleton continued to expand, eventually transforming into a gigantic black skull three meters tall. Two eerie green flames burned in the empty eye sockets, like a gaze from hell, sending chills down one's spine. Huo Yuhao stared at the green soul fire flickering in the Second Holy Spirit's eye sockets...

"Evil Soul Master?" he shouted in a deep voice. The Great Holy Spirit, on the other side, had already sprung up, letting out a roar as he stomped his right foot on the ground. The wall on one side of the hall cracked open, and as his first two soul rings emitted the same burning light as the Second Holy Spirit, six skeletons emerged from the crack, rushing towards Huo Yuhao and Nana in coordination with the Second Holy Spirit. Huo Yuhao scoffed disdainfully. For ordinary soul masters, evil soul masters were a nightmare, but for him, possessing necromancy, these soul-manipulating evil soul masters were far easier to deal with. A golden vertical eye split open on his forehead. Huo Yuhao had no intention of holding back against these evil soul masters; a sudden flash of lustrous golden light emanated from that eye.

The two Holy Spirits at the forefront stumbled and fell to the ground. A clear view showed a ball of green flame blasting directly from his skull, spreading outwards in a ring of green light. The massive black skull then collapsed to the ground.

The Second Holy Spirit manipulated souls, suddenly igniting his own soul rings, and an eerie aura erupted from him. His body rapidly expanded under the infusion of evil power, his bones cracking and his skin becoming as dry and fissured as withered wood, yet brimming with power. His previously murky eyes now gleamed with a ghostly green light, like a gaze from the depths of hell, sending chills down one's spine. This power elevated him to a completely new realm, as powerful as a Seven-Ring Soul Saint activating their Martial Soul True Body. His skeletal body, like cast iron...

Indestructible, even attacks from level six soul tools couldn't leave a trace on him. He wielded his enormous bone claws, each attack carrying the force to split mountains and shatter rocks, moving with lightning speed, making him unpredictable. However, Huo Yuhao didn't choose to confront him head-on. Faced with such a powerful enemy, Huo Yuhao calmly chose to avoid his sharp edge. He knew that compared to the terrifying physical strength of the Second Holy Spirit, his advantage lay in his mental power. Thus, his gaze sharpened, and within his deep eyes, the Eye of Destiny slowly rotated, releasing a dazzling golden light.

This light was no ordinary light; it was a soul impact condensed from his powerful spiritual energy, instantly piercing through the barriers of space and slamming into the Second Holy Spirit's soul. The Second Holy Spirit felt a sharp pain in his mind, as if struck by a giant hammer; his vision went black, and his body swayed involuntarily. In terms of pure soul power level, the Second Holy Spirit might still be above Huo Yuhao, but in terms of spiritual power, the gap between them was like a firefly competing with the moon. Moreover, Huo Yuhao was also proficient in necromancy, and his understanding of the soul far surpassed that of ordinary people.

This gave him an absolute advantage in the mental attack. Huo Yuhao seized the opportunity, his eyes suddenly turning gray, and he began to chant an ancient and mysterious necromancer incantation. Taking advantage of the moment when Nana rushed forward, temporarily blocking the six skeletons with her ice and snow power, he swiftly drew a strange symbol in the air with his right hand, then pointed it forward sharply. The originally invisible symbol was instantly enveloped in a layer of gray light, rapidly expanding to form a huge magic circle several meters in diameter. Immediately afterward, countless tiny green dots of light converged from all directions, floating towards Huo Yuhao, like fireflies dancing in the night sky.

Beautiful yet eerie. Huo Yuhao shouted in a deep voice, "Condense!" As soon as he finished speaking, the green dots rapidly coalesced into a ball of eerie green flame, flickering uneasily before him, emanating a chilling aura. Huo Yuhao coldly declared, "Let me wash away your sins!" The Eye of Destiny on his forehead shone brightly, a golden beam shooting into the eerie green flame. The flame instantly blazed fiercely, its color rapidly changing from eerie green to a dazzling gold. Hysterical screams echoed throughout the underground hall—the wails of souls burning in the flames. Soon, the eerie green was completely devoured by the gold, ultimately transforming into a small cluster of golden flame, quietly resting on Huo Yuhao's fingertips.

Its body rapidly expanded under the infusion of evil power, its bones crackling and popping, transforming in the blink of an eye into a gigantic skeleton. This skeleton stood three meters tall, its stark white bones wreathed in eerie green flames, two will-o'-the-wisps flickering in its empty eye sockets, radiating a chilling aura of malevolence. It brandished its enormous bone claws. (End of Chapter)
