Chapter 236 Shocking Change at the Dragon Farm

Chapter 236 Shocking Change at the Dragon Farm

Perhaps only in a tranquil environment can one truly feel the passage of time.

It's as if every moment has slowed down, giving people the opportunity to savor and experience the meaning of life.

In early May, Brioni Island is lush and green under the midday sun.

In the dragon breeding farm, or rather, the fire dragon processing plant, in the center of the island, various mournful roars could be heard from time to time.

And next to the processing plant.

A small house made of ice and snow stands there.

The house occupies a small area, probably only about ten square meters. The overall structure showcases the charm of Eastern architecture, with a 45-degree isosceles triangular roof that looks both simple and ingenious.

After lunch, Ino sat quietly alone outside the door.

The overwhelming fear emanating from the neighboring factory made him close his eyes slightly.

We've been on Brijuni Island for almost two months now, and the giant eight-eyed spider has been settled in the dense forest on the south side of the island.

Everything is moving in a positive direction.

As a social and hierarchical magical creature, the eight-eyed giant spider quickly adapted to the island environment under the leadership of the first generation of adult giant spiders, and lived a life of ease where everything was done for it.

All they have to do is collect venom twice a year, and only from young spiders.

Although everything was on track, Ino was in no hurry to leave.

The changes in the Boggart during this period intrigued him. Through a series of coincidences, the current Boggart and the original Boggart are practically two different species.

It's not just the change in shape and color; more importantly, this mutated Boggart is like an insatiable bottomless pit, accepting any amount of fear without question.

What was once a boggart the size of a dot of ink has now multiplied more than a hundredfold.

……

The afternoon was peaceful and relaxing.

But those with experience in ocean voyages seem to know one thing very well: the summer climate at sea is always unpredictable.

More than 100 nautical miles from Brijuni Island, a dark cloud suddenly drifted in from the sea.

In just a few minutes, rolling dark clouds enveloped the island, the sky-covering clouds blocking out all the light.

The island instantly went from noon to night.

Outside the igloo.

Ino looked up at the sky, and under such natural power, almost all life would feel a sense of awe.

Lightning flashed through the clouds, accompanied by a strong sea breeze, making the entire island look like it was the end of the world.

"I wonder if Lucius will pay double for working in extreme weather."

Ino glanced jokingly at the towering fire dragon processing plant next door, the fear he had felt earlier had long since vanished.

The roar of the fire dragon was drowned out by the thunder and the wind.

Soon, he suddenly stood up again.

The familiar fears have vanished, but new fears have emerged.

A loud "BOOM!"

The factory's massive wooden door was violently forced open from the inside, followed by a dozen figures fleeing in panic.

"Mr. Svenburn! Get out of here, quickly! The dragon is out of control!" Dren shouted anxiously, waving his wand.

As soon as Deren finished speaking, the roof of the processing plant was torn off instantly, and then five Romanian longhornosaurs rushed out.

Seemingly to celebrate their escape, the five fire dragons kept spewing flames in the sky.

Under the cover of dark clouds, the fire dragon's figure was particularly conspicuous.

However, those who could work at the dragon breeding farm were no ordinary people either; the dozen or so wizards reacted quickly. Without the limitations of the terrain, they worked in groups of three, mounted brooms, and began to deal with the out-of-control fire dragons.

Perhaps these are all old fire dragons waiting to be slaughtered, whose physical strength and flames are far inferior to those of a young, powerful dragon.

After the sudden burst of power, the fire dragons seemed somewhat exhausted, and even their flames stopped shooting out as much.

Within minutes, the dragon trainers had taken control of the situation, and it was only a matter of time before they were re-imprisoned.

……

As the manager of the dragon farm, Dren urged his broom to slowly descend after realizing that the situation was under control.

"I'm so sorry, sir! It's my responsibility that this happened." Dren's tone was heavy, but he didn't seem to have any intention of shirking responsibility.

"Tell me, why did they go out of control?" Ino asked curiously.

He hadn't been there for nothing these past two months. In a well-established dragon farm, the chance of a fire dragon going out of control is comparable to a Muggle plane crash—the probability is extremely low.

"It's Commons! He's a traitor." Deren said with lingering fear, "He broke the chains binding the fire dragon and escaped in the chaos, probably because..."

Seemingly trying to shirk responsibility, Deren stopped halfway through his speech.

"Because our spider farm is on the right track!" Ino completed the sentence for the other person.

Wealth stirs the heart, and the mentality of resenting those who have and laughing at those who don't is probably universal. The transformation of the dragon farm will inevitably arouse jealousy among its peers, especially since Malfoy's reputation doesn't carry much weight here in Croatia.

On the other side, after hearing the boy's additional words, Deren suddenly relaxed.

As the direct leader of the dragon farm, he cannot shirk responsibility, but if someone can provide corroborating evidence, that would be the best outcome.

But the next sentence he heard almost made Deren faint.

"The person you're talking about, since he chose to betray and cause destruction, would he only release these five aged fire dragons? Or does he simply not understand your strength?"

Ino spoke calmly, but his gaze had already turned to the northwest horizon.

Dren looked up following the gaze. Although the sky was shrouded in dark clouds, a large shadow was still clearly visible in the northwestern sky above the island.

"Mr. Swinburne! Fly eastward on your broomstick, ignoring secrecy laws, all the way into the Croatian interior."

At this moment, Dren had given up on escaping.

He knew the boy's identity very well. No matter how many of them died or were injured, the Malfoy family would compensate them. But if the boy also died here, forget about compensation; none of them would have a peaceful life for the rest of their days.

Moreover, as the person in charge, after such a major accident, everyone else could run away except him.

Ino looked at the broom that was handed to her, but did not take it immediately.

"Dren, take them away. This time, it's not just five old Romanian horned dragons."

"So you must leave!" Dren's tone was unusually firm.

He knew perfectly well what was coming this time; they had just ordered a full 12 Ukrainian Ironbelly spiders last month to meet the needs of the eight-eyed giant spider.

As the largest living dinosaur, the strength of the Ukrainian iron belly is beyond doubt.

"I have a phoenix! I can leave anytime! But you, if you delay any longer, none of the dozen or so dragon tamers up there will survive."

After speaking, Ino ignored Deren and began to think about how to deal with what was to come.

The spider farm, which had just gotten on track, couldn't just disappear under his nose, and besides, he didn't think these 12 Ukrainian iron-bellied spiders were the last resort.

Similarly, upon hearing the name of the phoenix, Dren felt as if he had been injected with a stimulant, and without any hesitation, he rode his broomstick into the sky.
