Su Wan raised her hand and flagged down two taxis parked on the side of the road.

The taxis in the Anning Quadrant are not wheeled, but rather streamlined cabins that float low in the air. The entire body is silver-white, without wheels, and hovers about half a foot off the ground, quietly suspended in the parking space, like two dolphins lying on the ground.

The first car carried Su Wan, Lin Feng, and Lao Zhou, while the second car carried A Ying, A Que, Xiao Ren, and Xiao Lin.

Su Wan bent down and gave the driver in the front seat a name: "Coral Bay Hotel".

Two silver-white hovercars drove south along Palm Avenue, one after the other.

The trees on both sides of the road gradually changed from palm trees to low tropical flowering trees, and clusters of bougainvillea in full bloom hung down from the wall, their purple-red and pink-white colors intertwined.

The blue sea in the distance grew closer and clearer, and the sunlight fell on the crests of the waves, shattering into countless silver stars.

In the second car, Aying rolled down the window, and the humid sea breeze rushed in, blowing her hair all over her face.

She ran her fingers through her hair as she called out the window:

"Wow~ the sea is so blue, it's like jelly, it's unreal!"

"Look over there, why is the lighthouse crooked?"

Upon hearing "Jelly Sea," A-Que immediately scurried over to her like an eel, pressing his forehead against hers and shouting, "Where is it? Where is it? Let me see!"

Xiao Ren was caught in the middle, his body stiff as a chopstick, his ears so red they looked like they were about to bleed.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Xiao Lin was even more excited, constantly pressing the shutter button with her phone to record the sea view outside the window.

Su Wan looked up and saw that Lao Zhou's back had already left the passenger seat back, and he was leaning forward with his forehead almost touching the side window glass.

As the car turned, he swayed along with it, but his gaze never left the sea, like a child seeing the ocean for the first time.

Two silver-white cars drove south along the coastline, bathed in sunlight and sea breeze, steadily making their way to the Coral Bay Hotel, located at the end of the pink sand beach.

The vehicle arrived at its destination shortly afterward and slowly drove into the hotel gate.

The courtyard is exquisitely landscaped, with precious tropical palm trees arranged in a staggered pattern. Mirror-like water features meander through the white jade walkways, and rare flowers and plants spread out in layers along the corridors. Everywhere is adorned with lustrous white coral stone carvings, making it exquisite and luxurious without appearing ostentatious.

The two cars came to a smooth stop in front of the lobby's transparent glass doors, and the seven people got out of the cars one after another and stepped into the lobby.

The lobby has an extremely high ceiling, estimated to be at least ten meters high, with a full glass skylight at the top, allowing sunlight to pour down and making the entire space bright and transparent.

A huge crystal chandelier hangs in the center, but it is not the kind of gaudy, opulent one. Instead, it is made of countless crystal leaves as thin as cicada wings, which sway gently in the wind, refracting fine spots of light onto the marble floor, like a rain of light.

The reception area is made of a single piece of light gray natural stone, with minimalist lines. On the table, there is only a thin tablet computer and a bunch of white lisianthus.

Ah Ying leaned over to the price list next to the front desk and glanced at it.

Then her expression froze.

"One... standard double room... for one night..." She pointed to the number on the price list, turned to look at Ah Que, her voice slightly unsteady, "Guess how much?"

Ah Que leaned over for a look, her eyes nearly popping out of their sockets: "Holy crap! One night here costs more than half a year's salary!"

Xiao Ren squeezed through the crowd for a peek, then swallowed hard. "Maybe... let's go to another place."

Su Wan stood by the front desk, glanced at Lin Feng, and smiled.

Lin Feng walked unhurriedly to the front desk, took out a black card from his spatial storage, and placed it on the table.

"One deluxe ocean view suite, one family suite, and one standard room. Ah Ying, Ah Que, and Xiao Lin, you three will stay in the family suite, and Lao Zhou and Xiao Ren will stay in the standard room."

All five nodded, indicating that they had no objections.

Lin Feng added, "Arrange all rooms to be luxury ocean view rooms."

As the five people were secretly astonished, the receptionist took the card with both hands, skillfully entered, checked, and confirmed it in the system, then looked up with a standard professional smile.

"Hello Mr. Lin, your reservations for two suites and one twin ocean view room have been confirmed. Here are your room keys."

The three room keys were neatly stacked on the table, and she handed over an additional card with the hotel logo printed on it.

"This is a VIP privilege card, which entitles you to a 20% discount on all dining options at the hotel. We wish you and your friends a pleasant stay."

Lin Feng took the room key, turned around and distributed it to everyone, and the group filed into the elevator.

The elevator doors closed, and the floor indicator lights flashed sequentially.

Lin Feng and Su Wan finally exited the elevator on the 8th floor, and their suite was at the end of the corridor.

The moment you push open the door, you are immediately struck by the spaciousness of the space—the living room, bedroom, dressing room, and bathroom with separate wet and dry areas are all so open that they feel almost luxurious.

The living room faces a floor-to-ceiling window, through which the sea stretches out unobstructed, a deep, boundless blue.

Su Wan walked in, lightly kicking off her shoes with her toes, and stepped barefoot onto the light gray carpet.

She stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, remained silent for two seconds facing the sea, and then turned around.

Lin Feng had just closed the door and hadn't even turned around when Su Wan rushed over in a few steps.

She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck, stood on tiptoe, and kissed him.

The moment their lips touched, she jumped up and wrapped her legs around his waist. Lin Feng was pulled back by the force of the impact, his back hitting the door with a thud.

Lin Feng instinctively supported her with his hands, his palms firmly clasped behind her waist, and he lowered his head to respond to the kiss.

The two kissed their way from behind the door to the living room, and then stumbled and rolled into the bedroom.

Su Wan's back sank into the soft mattress, her fingers still hooked around Lin Feng's collar, her lips slightly parted, and her eyes glistening with tears.

Just as Lin Feng was about to get to the point, Su Wan's gaze suddenly fell on the mini freezer on the bedside table.

She paused for a moment, and then—her hand pressed against Lin Feng's chest.

"Wait a moment."

Lin Feng paused, slightly propping himself up: "What's wrong?"

Su Wan smiled mischievously, gently pushed him, rolled over and sat up from under him, walked barefoot to the mini bar in the corner of the room, bent down and opened the freezer door.

She took a glass, picked out a few crystal-clear ice cubes from the freezer, and put them into the glass one by one.

Then he took out a bottle of deep amber whiskey from the liquor cabinet, unscrewed the cap, and slowly poured the liquid into the glass, where it hit the ice and created a ring of fine bubbles.

Lin Feng watched Su Wan's actions, a helpless smile appearing on his lips: "Want a drink beforehand?"

Su Wan did not answer.

She picked up her glass of wine, took a sip, and as the cool liquid washed over her lips and tongue, she licked her lips and said with a smile:

Have you heard of 'A Song of Ice and Fire'?

Lin Feng paused for a moment, then nodded seriously:

"I've heard of it. It's an epic fantasy novel that was later adapted into an American TV series called 'Game of Thrones.' Why are you suddenly bringing this up?"
