I Created a Sanctuary in Marvel

Chapter 53 Devil's Message, Goodbye Blade

After receiving Ye Feng's orders, Logan and Clarice did not delay at all and quickly boarded the Vatican's private plane, flying directly to their destination.

Inside the cabin, Logan flipped through the few intelligence documents in his hand, his brow furrowed: "Aside from knowing that the target is a demon, there's almost no other information. It's like finding a needle in a haystack."

"It is indeed tricky," Clarice nodded in agreement, analyzing the situation relatively calmly.

"However, Your Majesty has already spoken with Blade in advance. We can utilize the vampires' intelligence network. In the underworld, their information is often more readily available than official channels."

She recalled her past experiences handling vampire affairs with Ye Feng, during which she established a connection with Blade. Now that Ye Feng has ascended to the position of Pope, the power he displays makes Blade dare not be complacent.

After absorbing the power of the Blood God, Blade's strength increased day by day, and his prestige in the underworld was at its zenith, even able to command some vampires to serve him.

Before finding a way to completely resolve the root of vampires, Blade temporarily changed his strategy and instead began to utilize this dark power.

Besides the vampire lineage, the Vatican itself and the newly established Sanctuary Consortium were also working at full speed to gather information. Ye Feng, who knew that intelligence was the organization's eyes and ears, had long ago made building an intelligence network a top priority.

After the plane landed in the United States, a car arranged by the Sanctuary Foundation was already waiting at the airport.

The new president of the conglomerate, a devout Catholic, came to greet them. He was extremely respectful to Logan and Clarice: "Lord Logan, Lady Clarice, you must be tired from your journey."

"No need for formalities, is there any new news?" Logan, being straightforward, cut straight to the point.

The arrival of demons is no small matter; we must act quickly.

The CEO handed over a folder, his tone apologetic: "This is all the information we can gather so far."

"Our intelligence network is still under construction, and we can only explore the edges of the underground world. There are indeed not many valuable clues."

Logan took the document, and Clarice leaned closer to examine it as well.

The report documented a bizarre murder case that occurred three days earlier in a pub in a remote town: dozens of customers died, there were no signs of a struggle at the scene, but the temperature was extremely low.

The deceased had no external injuries and his internal organs were intact. The cause of death was that his blood was frozen instantly, and his eyes turned an eerie pure black.

Local investigators classified it as a supernatural event and attempted to pin the blame on mutants, until the Vatican intervened forcefully a day earlier to stop them.

"They're trying to pin the blame on mutants again! These bastards!" Logan angrily slammed his fist on the armrest of his seat, utterly disgusted by this tactic.

"Isn't this their usual style?" Clarice sneered, her upbringing having exposed her to far too much darkness.

"Your Holiness now occupies the position of Pope, not only holding the power of a country, but also serving as the spiritual leader of hundreds of millions of believers, wielding enormous influence."

"It would be abnormal if those people didn't do something to undermine His Majesty's prestige and the positive image of the Papacy."

Just then, Clarice's phone beeped.

She glanced at the screen, her eyes lighting up: "It's Blade! He said he has news about demons."

The smooth start boosted their spirits.

"What's the address?" Logan asked immediately.

Clarice gave out an address.

The president of the Sanctuary Consortium, sitting in the front row, immediately understood and signaled the driver to change the route and head to the location provided by Blade.

The vehicle drove into the bustling city center and finally stopped in front of a magnificent skyscraper. This gave a glimpse into the wealth accumulated by the vampires over thousands of years.

"Looks like Blade is doing pretty well these days," Clarice remarked as she looked up at the towering skyscraper after getting out of the car.

Guided by the reception staff, the two took the elevator directly to the top floor.

Blade knocked down the top three floors of the building and transformed them into a private space that integrates living areas, training grounds, and equipment storage.

"It seems you're living a very comfortable life," Clarice said, looking around at the modern yet practical surroundings.

Blade was still wearing his signature sunglasses, looking incredibly cool. He nodded slightly: "Thanks to you guys."

After obtaining the power of the Blood God, his eyes turned blood red, and to avoid unnecessary trouble, sunglasses became a must-have accessory.

"Enough with the small talk, here's the information you wanted."

"However, I've gathered more information than you think. This creature is unlike any other dark being; it's far more evil and troublesome."

"Moreover, he was likely not acting alone; he probably had companions, the exact number of whom is unknown, and their purpose is also unclear."

Blade handed two prepared documents to Logan and Clarice.

Logan quickly scanned the documents, his brow furrowing deeper and deeper: "Their movements are completely unpredictable... It's like they're looking for something?"

"The specific purpose is still unclear."

"But one thing is certain: these demons treat human life as worthless. According to incomplete statistics, more than a hundred people have been killed since they appeared."

"Blade said in a deep voice."

Blade had heard about Ye Feng's previous battle with the Hell Demon God Valak, which led him to delve deeper into the scattered records about Hell in the ancient vampire books.

He discovered that the forces of Hell and the dark creatures on Earth seemed to be on parallel paths, with Hell seemingly uninterested in the souls of the dark creatures.

"These bastards who indiscriminately kill innocent people!" Clarice's eyes blazed with rage.

"Without further ado, let's go to the places they've recently been to investigate and see if we can find any clues."

Logan closed the file and made his decision.

"Let me remind you,"

"Human special forces have also become involved. Be careful. Contact me immediately if you encounter any trouble."

Before the two left, Blade added solemnly.

"Understood, we will be careful." Logan nodded solemnly.

He knew all too well that beneath the surface of the current seemingly strained relationship between mutants and humans, suspicion and hostility had never truly disappeared.

If certain forces believe they have the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, eliminating both them and the demons, and then claiming that both sides have perished together, they will not hesitate to act ruthlessly.

Logan had no illusions about this.

After saying goodbye to Blade, the two got into the waiting vehicle.

"Lord Logan, where are we now?"

The president of the Sanctuary Consortium awaited further instructions.

"Just focus on your own business. Your Sanctuary Consortium doesn't need to get too involved in extraordinary events."

"Having just taken over the conglomerate, you have a lot to do."

"Regarding the travel of the Holy See's Saint Seiya Legion, the Sanctuary Foundation should set up a dedicated service team."

"You are the president of the Sanctuary Corporation, not a servant doing odd jobs."

Logan responded.

"I see."
