On the Dream Chaser, Wukong was doing frog jumps while carrying a stone on his back. He had picked it up on an island a few days ago so that he could train by carrying weight.

He clung to the side of the Dream Chaser ship, doing frog jumps in circles, his forehead glistening with sweat under the scorching sun.

Just then, Sanji's voice came from the side: "Hey! Goku, Nami-san, come eat!"

As Goku Frog jumped up, he looked out of the ship and saw Sanji standing on the second-floor corridor of Baratie, looking in his direction.

"I understand! I'll be right there!"

Wukong responded and quickly completed six hundred frog jumps before putting the stone down.

"Carrying this on my back is still a bit inconvenient," he muttered, staring at the stone.

After carrying the stone, his hands were bound, preventing him from exercising his hands and feet simultaneously as he did when carrying a tortoise shell.

"If only Master Roshi's shell were still here."

He wiped the sweat from his face, then leaped onto Baratie and came to Sanji's side.

"Sanji, I'm here!" He greeted Sanji with a smile.

To thank Goku for helping them defeat their enemies, Zeff and the others decided to bring out the best ingredients and cook a top-notch meal for Goku and Nami when they learned that Goku hadn't eaten enough.

That's why Sanji is now looking for Goku and Nami.

"Where is Nami-san?"

Seeing that the goddess hadn't appeared, Sanji anxiously scanned the Dream Chaser with his eyes.

She had to leave.

Wukong answered his question casually, then left him behind and ran off to the restaurant, his face full of anticipation for the food.

"You left?"

Sanji was taken aback. Seeing that the Dream Chaser was indeed quiet and there was no one else on board, he gave up and walked dejectedly towards the restaurant.

Ah—Nami-san! My Nami-san!

......

Inside the restaurant, when Paddy saw Goku push open the door and rush in, he quickly pulled him to the far corner and made him sit on one of the only two chairs left in the restaurant.

"Where's Miss Nami? Isn't she coming to eat?"

"Oh, she had to leave."

Upon learning of this, a chef nearby immediately hid the last remaining chair.

Wukong blinked, not quite understanding what they were doing.

Seeing his puzzled look, Patty quickly explained, "Goku, you can just eat your food later. We're going to put on a show in front of Sanji to force him to go to the Grand Line with you."

Wukong nodded blankly, indicating that he understood. Then, while burying his head in his rice, he curiously glanced around, preparing to see what kind of show Paddy and the others were going to put on.

A short while later, Sanji walked in alone.

Looking at the restaurant's full seats, he remained unmoved, picked up his own food, and sat down on the floor to eat.

Paddy and the other chefs looked at each other, seeing confusion and oddity in each other's eyes.

Hey, why isn't Sanji saying anything? Shouldn't he be asking us why we didn't save a seat for him?

How would I know? You're asking me, who am I supposed to ask?

They exchanged rapid glances.

Forget it, we've prepared other methods anyway, we're sure he won't be able to handle it.

That's right, if you belittle this brat's cooking skills, he'll definitely get furious and yell, "You go first, I'll go first!"

I'll go first.

Paddy pretended to scoop up a spoonful of the soup made by Sanji, then slammed the spoon down on the table after finishing it.

"Pah! This soup is awful. I have no idea how they made it."

After seeing that he had finished his performance, Carnegie began his own.

He scooped up some soup, smelled it, frowned, and said disparagingly, "That's right, this soup stinks horribly, it smells like urine."

The other chefs chimed in with their disapproval: "Ugh! It's awful! I think it's the worst soup in the world!"

As they continued to belittle Sanji, they secretly observed his expression, only to be surprised to find that Sanji remained unchanged, eating his food as if he were deaf and hadn't heard their insults.

Everyone looked at each other in bewilderment, wondering if Sanji had lost his mind.

After all, given Sanji's personality, he gets very upset when others criticize his carefully crafted creations, let alone being maliciously belittled like this. If he doesn't jump up and fight them, he's not Sanji at all.

At this point, Zeff stopped eating and raised his hand to stop the crowd from continuing to belittle him.

He gazed at Sanji, who was sitting quietly in the corner eating his food, his eyes flashing as if he understood something.

So, instead of being the grand finale to completely break down Sanji's psychological defenses, he remained silent and continued eating after calming everyone down.

The restaurant fell silent for a moment.

Wukong, who had been watching everyone's movements closely, blinked, not understanding what they were doing.

Acting? Is this what acting is?

Ten minutes later, Sanji finished his meal, took out a tissue to wipe his mouth, and then slowly lit a cigarette, exhaling a puff of smoke.

He then stood up, looked at Wukong, and calmly said, "Hey, Wukong, you said your ship is short-handed, right?"

Wukong looked up and nodded: "Mhm!"

"In that case, I'll become a cook on your ship, what do you say?"

Goku paused for a moment, then his eyes lit up: "You mean you agree to come with us to the Grand Line!"

"What else?" Sanji asked instead of answering.

Upon confirming this, Goku forgot all about eating and immediately jumped up, exclaiming, "Yay! We finally have a third crewmate! Now we can finally head to the Grand Line!"

When Paddy and the other chefs saw this, they were speechless and looked at each other in disbelief.

Wait a minute, they haven't even asked Sanji to leave yet, so how did he agree?

At that moment, Sanji smiled slightly and said to everyone, "Everyone, as you can see, I'm leaving here."

"Also, your acting is really bad."

Paddy and the other chefs immediately froze.

"You...you knew everything? When did you find out?"

"Ha, I heard everything you were plotting. Remember, next time you're plotting something, never let anyone find out."

After Sanji finished speaking with a slightly mocking tone, he turned his gaze to Goku.

"Wukong, when are we leaving? By the way, you said Nami-san had to leave for something, what did she do there?"

Wukong shook his head: "I don't know what she went to do, but she told me to wait for her here, and she'll be back in two days."

"Is that so?"

Sanji had a cigarette in his mouth, seemingly deep in thought.

After a while, he asked, "Do you know which direction she left in?"

Upon hearing this question, Goku went outside, looked around, and pointed in one direction, saying, "Over there, Nami left in that direction."

Sanji walked behind him and looked in the direction he was pointing.

A short while later, his gaze sharpened.

"That direction, if I remember correctly, is where the Arlong Pirates have taken over."

"Hey, Wukong, can you tell me everything that happened?"

Since Sanji was already their partner, Goku told them everything, including that Nami needed to earn 100 million Berries to accomplish something.

After listening, Sanji frowned deeply. With his keen senses and "feminine intuition," he intuitively felt that Nami was carrying a very heavy burden, and that there might be some danger that might befall her after her departure.

And this danger could very well come from the Arlong Pirates!

He told Goku about his worries and asked Goku to decide whether to listen to Nami and stay there to wait for her, or for them to follow the direction she left in to make sure she was not in any danger.

Just as he predicted, Wukong chose the latter without hesitation.

"Nami might be in danger? Then let's go find her right away!" Goku said with a serious expression.

Even if he might get scolded for breaking his promise if he chased after him, he couldn't care less.

For him, Nami's safety was of paramount importance!
