Little Goku's Great Adventure Starting from One Piece

Sunlight filtered through the branches and leaves, dappling the ground.

Wukong dragged the enormous king of the near sea along the way, and wherever he went, leaves fell and insects and beasts scattered.

"Hey, Goku, become my partner and be a pirate with me!"

"My plan is to find ten partners. If you join, you'll be my first partner!"

Luffy followed Goku, swinging on the swing the whole way, chattering on and on.

He would be overjoyed if he could find a partner before setting sail.

So no matter what, he wanted Goku to be his partner.

"I've already said I don't want to be a pirate. I have other things to do, so please don't invite me anymore."

Wukong's head was starting to ache from his incessant chatter, and he said somewhat impatiently.

"Oh? What do you need to do?"

When Luffy heard his second rejection, he was not disappointed at all; instead, his eyes lit up.

That's good. If he helps the other person accomplish this, the other person will probably agree to become his partner!

"I need to find two people."

"Looking for two people? Oh—you mean that Lin guy you were calling out before, right?"

"His name is Krillin, he's my good friend, and there's also Master Roshi."

As they talked, they unknowingly arrived at the place where they had met before.

Goku released the Sea King, put his clothes back on, slung the Power Pole over his shoulder, and bowed deeply to Luffy, saying:

"Thank you for treating me to food earlier. Enjoy your meal, this big fish. I'm leaving now."

After saying that, he turned to leave.

But Luffy jumped down from the tree and landed in front of him, hands on his hips, grinning, "Hey, if I help you find that forest and that hermit, how about you agree to be my crewmate?"

Upon hearing this, Goku thought about it seriously for a moment, then shook his head and said, "No, after finding Krillin and Master Roshi, I still have to participate in the World Martial Arts Tournament. After the tournament, I still have to find my grandfather's belongings."

Luffy suddenly lost his composure, clutching his head in frustration: "Why do you have so many problems?"

"So, I can't become a pirate with you. Besides, I promised someone I wouldn't become a pirate, and I mean what I say."

Wukong said very seriously.

Luffy saw the determination in Goku's eyes and understood that no matter how much he tried to persuade him, Goku would not agree to become his partner, so he had no choice but to give up.

After all, the kind of partners he wanted were those who genuinely wanted to adventure on the high seas with him, not those who were forcibly brought to him.

"Alright, I won't force you."

He said it in the same serious tone.

"but--"

"If you ever change your mind, I'll still welcome you to be my partner!"

He stretched out his right hand and grinned as he spoke.

Wukong looked at the hand extended in front of him, blinked, and then grasped it, a smile spreading across his face.

"Although I don't think that day will ever come, I'm still very happy to have met you here. I think we're friends now!"

Windmill Village is a small village on the edge of the Goa Kingdom, and it's where Luffy has lived since he was a child.

Luffy brought Goku here and headed straight for a tavern called Party Bar.

Before even entering the door, she shouted loudly, "Makino! Makino!"

Makino, who was wiping glasses at the bar, turned around at the sound of the voice, smiled gently at Luffy, and said, "Luffy, you're back so early today?"

She knew that Luffy trained in the forest every day.

Normally, the other person wouldn't return at this time, so she was quite surprised that Luffy had returned now.

However, right after asking the question, she noticed a small child following Luffy, so she quickly put down her glass, stepped out of the bar, and walked towards the two of them, saying:

"What an adorable child! Where did this child come from?"

"His name is Wukong! He's a friend I just met! Where he's from, uh... I don't know either."

After Luffy finished speaking, he turned to look at Goku behind him and asked, "Hey, Goku, where did you come from?"

Wukong scratched his head and said, "Me? I swam over from another island."

"Oh, what island?"

"I'm so oblivious," Luffy asked casually.

The next second, he and Makino both widened their eyes in surprise.

"Swimmed here?!"

After Goku recounted how he went to the sea to find something, how he was inexplicably taken to an unfamiliar sea area, and how he swam for more than five hours to get there, Makino hugged Goku with eyes full of heartache.

"What a pitiful yet strong child, to have been alone in the sea for so long. It's amazing that you survived."

Makino wiped away the few tears from the corner of her eyes, stood up, and said, "You must be hungry. Wait here, I'll go get you something to eat."

After saying that, she prepared to leave to prepare food for Wukong.

Having recovered from the shock of Goku's solo crossing of the sea, Luffy quickly grabbed her hand and said, "No need, Makino, he already ate the wild boar I roasted earlier."

"And don't underestimate him, he defeated the king of the near seas."

"Furthermore, I brought him here to help him find someone. Makino, you've met many people, maybe you've met the person he's looking for."

Makino turned around in astonishment, asking incredulously, "What did you say? You said he defeated the King of the Near Sea?"

Luffy patted his belly and grinned, "Yeah, he captured the Lord of the Coast and gave it to me. Now the Lord of the Coast is in my belly."

Although the truth is hard to believe, Makino unconditionally believes Luffy's words.

After all, she watched Luffy grow up. To her, Luffy is like her own child. Who wouldn't believe their own child?

So she stopped mentioning it and instead looked at Wukong and asked, "Little friend, you said you were looking for someone, but you came from another island. The person you're looking for should be on that island, right?"

Wukong shook his head: "I've looked for that island, they're not on that island."

Makino paused for a moment, then asked, "So, who are you looking for?"

So Goku told Master Roshi and Krillin their names and physical characteristics.

Makino frowned, carefully searched her memory, and then shook her head, saying, "I've never seen either of these two people you mentioned, and as far as I know, there aren't any of them in the nearby villages."

Wukong nodded and asked, "Do you know where the World Martial Arts Tournament is held?"

"The World Martial Arts Tournament?"

Makino shook her head even faster this time.

"I've never heard of this kind of event, let alone where it's held."

"I see, I understand, thank you." Although he hadn't gotten any useful information, Goku still thanked him politely.

Seeing how well-behaved he was, Makino grew even more fond of this adorable child, and suggested, "Our place is too remote. If you want to get any useful information, I think we can go to the cities of the Kingdom of Goa and ask around."

"But it's a bit difficult to get in there." She frowned again.

In order to concentrate the best resources, the Kingdom of Goa surrounded its only city, prohibiting outsiders from entering at will.

The city is magnificent and spotless, and has been well-managed.

Outside the city, however, all sorts of urban garbage are dumped there, unattended.

Ironically, despite this situation, the Kingdom of Goa is hailed as the most beautiful country in the East Sea.

Simply because of the beauty of its city.
