Pokémon: All About the Breeding House

Chapter 33 Shana's Day of Delivery

Have Gengar take off his shoulder bag and put it on Shana's back.

Is it heavy?

Fang Yan squatted down, put the little yellow hat specially made for her on her head, and asked softly.

Shana shook her head. "It's not heavy."

"Should I let you...?"

Seeing the sincere look in her eyes, Fang Yan swallowed his words.

He took out the herbal tea list and told her that after delivering the herbal tea, she could give them a copy of the list, which had notes written on it, detailing the effects of each herbal tea. Shana just needed to give it to them.

He then took the map that Gengar had drawn by hand, taught her how to read it, and then strung the map around his neck with his body.

Then put a watch communicator on her so she can contact me anytime if anything happens.

After finishing all the preparations, Fang Yan was still thinking about whether there was anything he had forgotten. In the end, he found that there was nothing, so he gave a few more careful instructions.

"If you really can't do it, that's okay. Come back first, and Gengar and the others will be waiting for you at the breeding center for afternoon tea."

"Um."

Shana nodded, then turned and walked towards the door.

"Doraemon, let's go."

Shana called out, holding the map hanging around her neck in one hand and clenching her other fist tightly.

"Lingling~"

The bell rang, and she lightly bounced to follow.

"Kou Jie?"

Is she really okay? Let her go.

Gengar watched her and Dingdang's retreating figures with concern.

The same applies to the other Pokémon.

Fang Yan looked at the bag on her small body.

"I should have known better than to accept so many orders. I would have just delivered two or three bottles, at least they wouldn't be so heavy."

Fang Yan gritted his teeth and said.

"She'll have to take this step sooner or later. Now that she wants to, all we can do is encourage and support her. You should follow her."

Fang Yan watched her figure grow smaller and smaller, then patted Gengar on the shoulder, signaling it to follow.

"Be careful not to get caught."

He shouted something at Gengar's back.

"Kou Jie—"

Turning his gaze away, Fang Yan took out his phone and called the Fujino couple, explaining the situation and asking them to come and wait beforehand, but not to be discovered.

After hanging up the phone, Fang Yan comforted the still worried Lilyroot Doll and the others, and gestured for Gengar to follow, assuring them that everything would be alright.

He then found some wooden blocks and rope, and sat down at the counter to start working.

Seeing this, the lily root dolls also returned to the backyard and went about their own business.

Shana and Bell Ring were walking on an empty road. The surrounding grass rustled from time to time, but she felt no fear listening to the sounds coming from Bell Ring.

"Little Doraemon, you know what? I really love everyone at the petting zoo, especially the owner and Gengar. They keep me company when I'm sad..."

Shana walked along, talking to the bell.

Gengar, who had been hiding in the grass and caught a Wurmple that was about to play a prank, was deeply moved when it heard this. Then, seeing that Shana had switched her backpack to the other shoulder because it was too heavy, it couldn't help but want to use its psychic powers to lighten her load.

However, it managed to hold back.

Along the way, Gengar hypnotized and threw away all the mischievous Pokémon, and arrived in Twinleaf Town with Shana.

Shana wiped the sweat from her forehead, revealing her messy bangs under her little yellow hat.

She put her bag on the ground, then picked up the map, looked at it carefully, and finally bent down to pick up the shoulder bag with both hands and walked towards the first store.

Gengar floated up behind a couple who were hiding in an alley, sneaking around and watching Shana, and patted them on the shoulder.

"Kou Jie—"

"Oh, it's Gengar! You scared me!"

Mrs. Fujino turned around and saw it was Gengar. She breathed a sigh of relief, then turned back to continue watching Shana's back.

Shana and Dingdang walked ahead, followed by a furtive couple and a Gengar.

Because her behavior was too conspicuous and confusing, it attracted the attention of passersby, who eventually called the police to notify Ms. Jenny.

Miss Officer Jenny recognized them from afar, but she was still curious about what they were doing, so she walked up to them and patted them on the shoulder.

"Kou Jie?"

Gengar jumped up in fright, then turned around and saw Officer Jenny. He then patted his chest.

It was a false alarm.

"What are you doing?"

Officer Jenny asked, puzzled.

Pointing to a spot not far away, Officer Jenny looked over and saw a jingling Shana pacing back and forth in front of a house.

Mr. Fujino explained it to her again, and then the people following her became three: a ghost and a dog.

Shana paced back and forth outside the house, staring at it. She felt a lot of people watching her as she walked, which made her start to feel afraid.

He would stop and look at the house, then pace back and forth, then squat down with his knees drawn up to his chest, trembling uncontrollably.

The three people and two treasures behind them felt heartbroken upon seeing this.

When Gengar saw Shana squatting down with her knees drawn up to her chest, trembling all over, it couldn't help but float away, only to be pulled back by the Fujino couple.

"Kou Jie—"

Gengar pointed at Shana not far away, looking somewhat anxious.

"We must trust her, Gengar."

Mrs. Fujino's eyes were already filled with tears, but she suppressed the urge to go and help, and spoke to Gengar instead.

Gengar looked at Shana, who was trembling all over, and didn't care about anything else. It was about to float over again.

"Gengar, look."

As Officer Jenny spoke, Gengar looked over and saw that Shana had already stood up and was walking towards the door with her bag on her back.

As Shana sat on the ground, she noticed more and more passersby staring at her. She grew increasingly frightened, and just as she was about to drop her bag and run home...

"Lingling~"

The sound of a bell rang out.

Shana looked over, and at that moment, Bell gently jumped onto her lap, looking at her. Although it didn't know what had happened, it sensed that its owner was in a bad mood, so it used its beautiful music to comfort her.

Seeing the worried look on Bell's face, Shana stopped crying for a moment. Then, images of her parents flashed through her mind, followed by Nurse Joy, Officer Jenny, and finally the nurseryman's voice, as well as Gengar and the others.

"Then I'll leave it to you."

The sound of dialect echoed in her heart.

She wiped away her tears, picked up the bell, pressed it against her face, stood up, slung her bag over her shoulder again, and walked toward the door.

She knocked on the door, and the person who opened it was the same grandmother who had been to the dialect nursery and recommended that her parents take her there.

"Oh, little Shana, it's you."

Grandma covered her mouth, surprised, and asked, "Is there something you need my help with?"

When Shana saw her grandmother, her fear surged back.

"I, I..."

Shana lowered her head, stammering and not daring to speak.

"It's alright, it's alright, you can speak slowly, or we can come inside and talk."

Grandma said it was alright and told Shana not to be nervous, then invited Shana into the house to talk.

Shana looked up and saw her grandmother's kind smile, at which point the jingling on her shoulder rang again.

"Lingling~"

"Oh, is this your friend?"

Grandma noticed the bells on her shoulders ringing and exclaimed, "So cute, just like our little Shana!"

Shana heard her grandmother's words and the sound of the bell, then bit her lip and said, "Yes, its name is Doraemon. We just became good friends today. I'm here today to deliver herbal tea on behalf of Uncle Shopkeeper because I want to help Uncle Shopkeeper and Gengar and don't want them to work so hard anymore."

After finishing her story in one breath, Shana breathed a sigh of relief and then looked at her grandmother.

Grandma didn't react at first, but then she saw Shana take a bottle of herbal tea out of her bag. She saw the Gengar logo from the breeding center and the logo on the hat, and then she realized what was going on.

"Oh~ you're here to bring us herbal tea? Oh my, really? You're so kind, my little Shana, oh my."

Grandma exclaimed in surprise, and then tears of emotion streamed down her face.

She knew what had happened to Shana, and now Shana had personally brought her some herbal tea.

She quickly took the herbal tea, then hurried back to the house, took out some money and snacks, and handed them to Shana.

Shana carefully counted the money, then handed her a herbal tea list.

"The shop manager asked me to give this to you."

Shana's clear voice rang out. Once the first step was taken, the rest would be fine, so Shana was no longer as nervous or afraid as before.

After handing her the list, Shana walked toward the next shop, the bells jingling.

Behind her, the three people and the two Pokémon were already sobbing uncontrollably.

Click~

The shutter clicked, and Gengar turned around to see Fangyan taking a picture of Shana taking her first step not far away.

"Kou Jie?"

What are you doing here?

Let's rewind to half an hour after Shana set off.

Fang Yan put down his tools, walked to the door, carried the wooden planks back inside, hung up the "Temporarily Closed" sign, gave Dali and the others a few instructions, then closed the door, picked up his camera, and headed straight for Shuangye Town.

"whee."

Fang Yan saw that they had spotted him, then grinned, took the camera, walked to his grandmother's door, thanked her, and continued to follow Shana.

Shana quickly delivered all the herbal tea. The process wasn't entirely smooth, but the families who needed the tea were all very kind and encouraged Shana.

Finally, Shana distributed the herbal tea list to everyone.

"Okay, that's all done. I'm going back to the breeding barn now. You can handle the rest."

After saying that, he grabbed his camera and ran back towards the breeding house.

"Kou Jie—"

Wait for me!

The Fujino couple and Officer Jenny orchestrated a perfect chance encounter, and ended up driving back to the Dialect Breeding House together.

Fang Yan had just put the wooden board out and put the "Open for Business" sign back up.

Before they could catch their breath, Shana and the others returned to the breeding house.

Fang Yan wiped his sweat, calmed his wildly beating heart, praised Shana a few times, and then began preparing afternoon tea.

A very lavish afternoon tea.

During afternoon tea, Shana gradually became more talkative, and she began to tell everyone about the things she had encountered on the way.

The group and the Pokémon exchanged smiles, everything understood without a word.

……

In Shana's room, the Fujino couple were sitting on the edge of the bed, listening to Shana introduce her friends.

"Daddy, Mommy, this is Doraemon, Doraemon, this is my daddy and mommy."

The Fujino couple had smiles on their faces.

"Hello, Tinker Bell."

"Lingling~"

"By the way, Shana, should we go back to your grandfather's house tomorrow?"

Mr. Fujino asked Shana a question.

Shana thought for a moment and then nodded.

"Don't worry, Mom will talk to your shop manager uncle," Mrs. Fujino said gently, stroking her forehead.

"Um."

"Then you and Xiao Dingdang rest first, your dad and I will go out first."

Goodnight, Mom and Dad.

Mrs. Fujino and her husband exchanged a glance.

Goodnight, my love.
