Pokémon: All About the Breeding House

Chapter 28 Mid-Autumn Festival

Three days passed in the blink of an eye, and everything in the breeding house was progressing smoothly.

During this period, the lily root herbal tea from the breeding center sold very well among the old man and the old woman, and two elf eggs were also sold.

On the Mid-Autumn Festival, Fang Yan got up very early to prepare for dinner that night.

He reached out and lifted Shana off his shoulder, though it was unclear whether she was two or three powers strong, and made her a cup of honey water as usual.

Ever since Shana went home that day, Fangyan has had Dali and the others take turns picking them up every day and then taking them back before dinner to avoid any accidents on the way.

Sometimes her father or mother would come with her, sometimes they would come together, and if they didn't come, they would send her a message in advance to let her know.

Today, Shana happened to come alone, so she was carried on Machamp's shoulder and carried the egg to the nursery.

After a few days of care, Shana started to talk more in the nursery. Although she still acted the same way when facing people outside the nursery, Fang Yan and her parents believed that things would get better in the future.

Fang Yan didn't put up the sign for business today. She patted her little head and then took her to the vegetable garden in the backyard to pick vegetables.

Plants grow very quickly in the Pokémon world. For example, fruit trees can bear fruit in just a few days. Therefore, vegetables grow very quickly with the help of Lilyroot.

Then Gengar took Shana to continue watering, while Fangyan returned to the kitchen.

First, breakfast was prepared for everyone. After breakfast, Fang Yan began preparing dinner in advance.

First, I made a Gengar cake and stored it in the refrigerator. Then I asked Gengar to borrow some sweetness from the Queen Bee.

Afterwards, I returned to the backyard and began preparing the molds for making mooncakes.

Gengar arrived at the hive and grinned at the Queen Bee.

whee.

"..."

The Queen Bee couldn't stand living like this every day, being robbed of her sweetness. But since life here was indeed very comfortable, she decided to have Gengar bring a container to fill it up all at once, and then come back when it was done.

Gengar nodded, then went back to the kitchen, looked around, and took an empty water tank with him.

Fang Yan was carving a mold with his head down when he looked up and saw Gengar staggering towards the woods with a water tank that was even bigger than itself.

"..."

What are you doing, Da Sha Chun?

honeycomb.

The queen bee and several hornets looked at the large water tank in front of them.

"..."

It turned and left, preparing to move away from here with the three bees.

Watching the Queen Bee's retreating figure without a backward glance, Gengar cried out in a panic and then pulled a small porcelain jar from its mouth.

"..."

The Queen Bee quietly watched Gengar.

"Kou Jie—"

whee.

The Queen Bee, too lazy to pay attention to Gengar anymore, flew to Gengar's side, picked up the porcelain jar, turned around and left.

Watching the Queen Bee's retreating figure, Gengar sighed, looked at the large water tank on the ground, and shook his head regretfully.

Finally, Fangyan saw Gengar staggering back with a large water vat, next to which was a small porcelain jar.

Without hesitation, he mocked Gengar, who turned away in a huff and went back to the kitchen with its things.

After lunch, Fang Yan told Dali and the others to take Shana back to the front to watch TV for a while and escape the midday sun.

Meanwhile, he hid in the kitchen making mooncakes.

The prepared mooncake fillings include red bean paste, osmanthus paste, and lotus seed paste.

The red bean paste filling was only half of the other two, because a chubby boy was helping him eat the other half.

She slapped away the chubby little hand that was sneaking towards the spoon again, then put her hands on her hips and looked at Gengar.

Upon hearing the dialect, Gengar was about to curse when the sound of a motorcycle came from outside. Gengar made a face, then passed through the wall and floated towards the door.

Shaking his head helplessly, Fang Yan continued working.

Officer Jenny went into the kitchen, drank a glass of hand-whipped soda, and prepared to help. After looking around, she took a few more glasses of soda and left the kitchen to watch TV with Shana.

After putting some of the mooncakes into the oven, Xia Lan also arrived at the breeding house.

I went into the kitchen and chatted with Fang Yan for a while, complaining about the problems of the person who commissioned this case, while eating osmanthus filling.

Fang Yan initially comforted her, but eventually, seeing that the osmanthus filling was dwindling, she kicked her out.

"Tch~ Stingy guy, Gengar, he's really stingy."

"Goblin!"

Hearing the conversation outside, Fang Yan rolled his eyes and shook his head helplessly.

After the first batch of mooncakes came out of the oven, Fang Yan shouted "Gengar!"

"Kou Jie—"

What's up?

Gengar, half its body passing through the wall, looked at Fang Yan, still appearing angry.

Seeing Gengar still sulking, Fang Yan sighed helplessly.

"Sigh, I was planning to let a certain Pokémon try some freshly baked mooncakes, but it's still sulking and probably won't want to eat them. What a pity, I'll have to find another Pokémon. I guess Mighty and the others will agree?"

"Goblin!"

Dah!

Gengar appeared in front of Fangyan, crossed its two chubby little hands in front of its chest to make an X, and said with a serious face that it wouldn't do it.

Fang Yan chuckled upon seeing Gengar's serious expression, then smiled and handed it a freshly baked mooncake, saying, "Here, eat up."

"Kou Jie?"

Gengar looked at the Gengar-shaped mooncake in its hand, then looked up at Fangyan and asked a question.

"Eat up, we always let the kids have a taste of the food we just cooked."

Fang Yan reached out and tugged at the corner of its mouth, saying.

Upon hearing this, Gengar grinned and then ate the Gengar Mooncake in one bite.

Chew, chew, chew~

"Ugh! *⁂((✪⥎✪))⁂*"

So delicious!

He flicked Gengar on the head and then told Gengar to go outside and wait.

While the dialect was distracted, Gengar grabbed a few mooncakes and ran away.

"I'm not afraid of getting burned."

Fang Yan laughed and cursed.

After making all the mooncakes, we began preparing dinner for tonight.

Dongpo pork, braised pig's trotters, salt and pepper shrimp, fresh mushroom chicken soup, seasonal vegetables, fruit platter, sweet and sour pork ribs, and cola chicken wings.

Pokémon are various energy cubes.

Drinks include a refreshing soft drink (sweet version) and tree juice.

Tonight's dinner was very lavish, which kept Fang Yan busy for a while. Later, Miss Joey arrived and helped with the meal with her lucky eggs, and that's how all the dishes were prepared.

Fang Yan walked out of the kitchen, where the rest area in front of the counter was full of people and Pokémon.

Among them was a penguin Pokémon I'd never seen before, which at first glance clearly possessed extraordinary attribute configurations.

This Empoleon must be Xia Lan's Pokémon, Fang Yan thought to himself.

Then he looked at Shana and said, "Shana, how about I call your parents and tell them you're having dinner here tonight?"

"it is good."

A crisp voice rang out, and Fang Yan nodded, then looked at Gengar and Xia Lan.

"It's time to eat, stop watching."

With a curt "I don't like it," Gengar launched itself forward and floated toward the kitchen.

"Kou Jie—"

Alright, here I come!

The other Pokémon also headed towards the backyard, some moving stools, some moving tables, and some serving dishes.

Everyone performed their duties in an orderly manner.

Seeing this, Fang Yan nodded with satisfaction and took out his phone to inform Shana's parents.

Xia Lan and the others then handed the gifts they had brought to Fang Yan.

"Next time you come for a meal and bring a gift, please don't come in."

"Hahaha, definitely next time."

"Let's eat, let's eat."

"A small token of my appreciation."

Fang Yan put the gifts away, shook her head helplessly, and followed them back to the backyard.
