"Our mentor currently has dozens of students, including myself, but only six or seven of them are entrusted with the same expectations as you and me."

Sadiq's voice was flat, revealing neither joy nor anger. "The others are either out on their own missions or in seclusion trying out new academic theories. You don't see them often."
