Chapter 2 Registration Turmoil

"Young man, what brings you here?" The leading male student walked up to Ye Qi'an and asked with a smile.

"I'm a freshman this year, I'm here to register for school," Ye Qi'an said, nodding.

"Young man, there are requirements for enrolling in Shrek Academy. First, you must be no older than twelve. Second, your soul power must be at least level fifteen. "Level 21." Ye Qi'an said as he released his two crimson-gold soul rings.

"Crimson gold spirit rings? What kind of spirit rings are these?" Not only the male student, but also the other Shrek Academy students were all staring in disbelief at Ye Qi'an's two spirit rings.

"Senior, my spirit ring became what it is now due to some kind of mutation," Ye Qi'an explained, having already prepared his words.

"If it's a mutation, then that makes sense. Where's your recommendation letter, junior?" the male student said.

Ye Qi'an took out a letter of recommendation with his portrait on it from his package and handed it to the person in front of him.

As Ye Qi'an was walking towards Shrek Academy on his own, he seemed to sense something and suddenly turned around, only to see a bustling crowd and not the person who had given him the strange feeling.

Passing through the East Gate, one arrives directly at Shrek Academy. The academy grounds are lush with vegetation. The senior student leads Ye Qi'an to a white teaching building to register and pay tuition.

Ye Qi'an collected his dormitory key, two sets of school uniforms, and a white freshman badge, then walked out of the freshman teaching building. He frowned slightly at a notice on the bulletin board not far away. Walking over, he saw that the notice read: "Class Teacher of Freshman Class 1: Zhou Yi; Class Teacher of Freshman Class 2..."

Just as Ye Qi'an was watching intently, a hand suddenly patted his shoulder. Ye Qi'an was startled and turned around sharply, only to see a silver-haired girl.

"Hello," the girl said with a smile.

The girl before them possessed an exquisite face, with long, silver hair cascading down to her ankles, the strands smooth and possessing a texture like silver crystal. Her skin was fair but slightly pale, and she had a pair of beautiful purple eyes, with long, curled eyelashes adding to her lively charm.

Ye Qi'an frowned as he scrutinized the silver-haired girl before him. Silver hair! Wait, could this be the Silver Dragon King? No way, shouldn't she be recuperating at this time? How could she be at Shrek Academy?

Ye Qi'an swallowed hard, and forced a smile, asked, "Who are you? Why are you following me?"

The girl blinked and said, "My name is Gu Yuena."

Gu Yuena tilted her head slightly and said calmly, "The injury can heal slowly, but your appearance forced me to come."

Ye Qi'an was silent for a moment, then said, "So what do you want me to do?"

A glint flashed in Gu Yuena's eyes: "Come back to the Star Dou Great Forest with me. There, you can obtain better cultivation resources and improve your strength faster."

Ye Qi'an refused without hesitation: "No, I can't leave now."

"This should be the Dragon God Douluo. He doesn't seem to be too badly poisoned," Ye Qi'an muttered to himself as he looked at the old man in front of him.

"It seems you know quite a bit, but he does appear to be fine on the surface, though he's actually been poisoned to the bone. His martial spirit has some connection to us," Gu Yuena whispered in Ye Qi'an's ear.

"I know, isn't it the Holy Light Dragon Martial Soul, second only to the Light Dragon King among the Nine Dragon Kings?" Ye Qi'an nodded and said.

"It seems you still don't understand our dragon race. The Holy Light Dragon Martial Soul is just a branch of the Light Dragon King race, which is similar to a group leader position. It seems I should give you a proper lesson," Gu Yuena said.

"Let's go say hello," Ye Qian said, taking Gu Yuena's hand as they stepped forward and respectfully said, "Hello, sir. We are freshmen this year, here to move into the dormitory. Would you like to check our freshman badges?"
