Chapter 112 A Strange Dimension, the Shadow Demon

Just as Qinghuo arrived in Hell with Lynn's God Token to help the Eight Great Families destroy the Four Divine Beast Families.

Lynn's true form, however, arrived in a peculiar material plane with his two wives.

This is a material plane called "Bald," specifically the Shadow Forest of the Bald plane. Eleven enormous teleportation arrays sit atop a dark, shadowy cliff within the forest.

"Such a dense aura of darkness! The concentration of dark elements in this world is no less than that of the Dark God Realm!" Alice exclaimed in surprise as soon as she stepped out of the teleportation array.

Lynn nodded slightly, and his divine sense instantly spread out, covering a material plane with a radius of billions of miles. Everything in this plane was exposed to his divine sense.

"Hundreds of high-level gods, tens of thousands of mid-level gods, and millions of low-level gods!" Lynn raised an eyebrow, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. The strength of this material plane was somewhat beyond his expectations!

"My lords!" At this moment, the guardian of this plane, a white-haired mid-level god, also respectfully bowed to the three of them.

Lynn nodded slightly: "Mm!"

He then vanished in a blur with his two wives, flying towards the mainland.

The lone guardian of the plane remained, watching the three figures disappear, his gaze shifting between light and shadow: "Powerful beings from the Dark God Realm, I hope you don't provoke that great one, or you may be trapped in this material plane forever!"

……

"These creatures look quite like your fallen angels!" Alice said curiously as the three of them flew in the sky, looking at the humanoid figures living on the continent and islands.

Lynn also looked down.

The Bode Plane is a plane in which landmasses occupy more than 90% of the main plane. In other words, this plane is actually a continent spanning billions of miles.

The ocean occupies less than one-tenth of the area. This situation is exactly the opposite of that in the Magnolia Plane.

This continent is also very strange; there are almost no trees, only bare ground and a large number of dark moss-like plants.

Within this plane, apart from the oceans and mountains where numerous magical beasts live, the rest of the world is occupied by a single life form.

It was a creature with a body covered in black down, strange markings on its face, and two pairs of wings on its back, standing about two meters tall.

As Alice said, this creature does indeed resemble his fallen angel somewhat. However, the difference is that this creature's wings are thin, membranous, like cicada wings, rather than the feathers of a fallen angel.

"This Baldur plane is truly a perfect fit for this kind of creature!" Lynn sighed slightly.

The reason he made such a sigh was because his divine sense swept over hundreds of high-level gods, tens of thousands of mid-level gods, and millions of low-level gods!

They are all creatures of this race.

The main reason why this race was able to produce so many powerful individuals is due to the environmental influence of the Baldur plane.

The Bald Plane is considerably larger than the Magnolia Plane, but it is not a high-energy plane like the Supreme Plane or the Abyss. The strength of life forms born here is roughly the same as that of humans in the Magnolia Plane.

But the elements here are extremely extreme.

Lynn's true form sensed it and could barely detect any elements other than darkness. In other words, there were no other free elements in the world besides darkness in the Bald plane; they were even harder to detect than in the dimensional prison.

The aura of dark elements is no less than that of the Dark God Realm, while the auras of other elements are barely perceptible. This extreme environment has made this race, which is naturally affinity-for-dark elements and calls itself the 'Shadow Demons,' the rulers of the plane.

And so many gods were born!

Lynn observed similar patterns in other creatures. Wild beasts were alright, but magical beasts were all of the dark attribute. Normally growing plants were almost entirely absent; those that could grow were mostly of the dark attribute.

……

The three landed on the continent and walked around freely, completely unnoticed by the shadow demons coming and going.

As Lynn traveled and explored, he also observed these shadow demons. He always felt that this plane was a bit strange, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what was so strange about it.

Before they knew it, they had been in the Baldur plane for several days.

Lynn finally understood the source of this strangeness in the material plane. This plane had no sunrise, no sunset, no sunlight; the entire plane was shrouded in perpetual darkness!

"Why is this happening? This is too extreme!" Lynn shook his head slightly, his massive divine sense spreading out to cover the entire plane, observing the root of all this.

The ruler of death, however, grew weary of the unchanging darkness. Her eyes showed impatience: "Lynn, let's go! It's pitch black everywhere, and there's nothing to see!"

Lynn shook his head: "Christine, aren't you curious why the Bald Plane has such an extreme and bizarre environment? I want to stay a while longer and explore the secrets behind it; perhaps it will help my cultivation!"

"Boring, you're just as boring as Utred and Of!" The Lord of Death curled his lip. "Lily, let's ignore him and go back to the Dark God Realm!"

Alice nodded. "Lynn, the environment here makes me very uncomfortable. I can't sense any water element at all. I want to leave too!"

"I'm sorry, Lily!" Lynn said apologetically, realizing he hadn't considered his two wives' feelings. "Then you go back to the Dark God Realm with Christine first! I'll be back shortly!"

……

The Lord of Death and Alice departed together, leaving Lynn alone in the Baldur plane.

To explore the mysteries of this plane, he didn't directly summon the plane's guardians or powerful beings to inquire, but simply wandered around casually. He even transformed himself into the form of a shadow demon, entering cities to observe their lives and study their history.

Before we knew it, nearly a century had passed.

On a black cliff tens of thousands of meters high in the Bode Plane, Lynn sat cross-legged, a slight smile on his face: "Qinghuo has led the eight great families to annihilate the Four Divine Beast Families. The essence and blood of the slain members of the Four Divine Beast Families, along with their Dragon Transformation Pools and Dragon Transformation Crystals used to awaken their bloodlines, have all been brought back to Canglan Island!"

But then a strange look appeared on his face: "This Dennington...am I really that scary?"

"With the matter of the Four Divine Beasts families settled, I've almost found the secrets of the Bald Plane!" Lynn snapped out of his daze, stood up, and flew directly into the sky.

Then, his vast divine sense instantly spread throughout the entire Baldur plane, finding all the high-ranking gods within it. His icy voice simultaneously resounded in the minds of these gods: "Everyone, come to Black Moon Cliff to see me!"

"Who is it?"

"How dare you!"

"Brother, you heard that telepathic message too?"

"Let's go take a look!"

……

The higher gods moved incredibly fast in this material plane; a moment later, a figure appeared in front of Lynn.

This is a majestic middle-aged deity with two pairs of golden wings on his back, golden hair on his head, and several golden lines tattooed diagonally on his face.

At the same time, he is also the strongest shadow demon within Lynn's divine sense range!

"Who are you?" The golden-winged shadow demon looked at Lynn with an unfriendly expression as soon as it appeared.

Lynn merely glanced at him and said indifferently, "You are not qualified to know my identity. Go down and wait!"

"Hmph, what arrogance!" Upon hearing this, the Golden-Winged Shadow Demon's eyes flashed with anger. In a flash, a long spear appeared in his hand. "I'll see what you're capable of, daring to be so arrogant in front of me!"

"Hmm? You want to kill me?" Seeing his look of being about to attack, Lynn's eyes revealed a hint of amusement.

In the higher plane of Hell, even a Great Perfection being like Dennington would flee in terror at the mere mention of his name. Yet here in the material plane, a mere ruler-level deity dared to attack him.

Seeing Lynn's complete disregard for him, the Golden-Winged Shadow Demon flew into a rage: "Die!"

"boom!"

The spear in his hand, like a giant black dragon, viciously tore at Lynn. Wherever it passed, space turned into vast swathes of nothingness, which continued to spread and devour everything in its path.

The next second, a faint light emerged from the void and headed straight for Lynn's brow.

Lynn casually reached out and grabbed the spearhead with a snap, and he caught it in his hand.

He glanced indifferently at the horrified Golden Winged Shadow Demon, then exerted a slight force with his hand, and the spear shattered into ashes and vanished!

"How is this possible?" The Golden-Winged Shadow Demon looked as if it had seen a ghost.

He wasn't some clueless native; as the Grand Elder of the Shadow Demons, he had ventured into the Dark God Realm long ago. After countless years of wandering there, earning a formidable reputation, he finally returned to this material plane.

He was a commander-level being, capable of grabbing his superior artifact with one hand and crushing it at will. The strength of the person in front of him had already exceeded his imagination.

In the material plane, only those legendary high-level gods who have achieved great perfection can do this!

"Damn it, how could a Great Perfection expert have come to my material plane!" The Golden-Winged Shadow Demon lamented inwardly, but immediately put on a respectful expression: "Ptolemy has offended you, sir, please punish me!"

Lynn's expression remained unchanged: "Get down and kneel! I have some questions to ask you later!"

"Yes, sir!" Ptolemy landed on the cliff with trepidation and knelt down respectfully.

Before long, several more Shadow Demon High Gods arrived, each of them initially filled with rage. However, when they saw the Grand Elder kneeling on the cliff below, their hearts sank, and the anger on their faces vanished without a trace.
