Chapter 145 Xandar

Star-Lord didn't understand Yondu's deeper meaning, but he was naturally willing to live, so he immediately agreed.

Link added, "I have brought you a gift: Ronan's head. We have just defeated his fleet."

"Oh?" This time the other person was even more surprised.

The Xandarians and the Kree have been engaged in a long interstellar war and have only recently signed a peace treaty. However, Ronan of the Kree is very dissatisfied with this and has been looking for a way to defeat Xandarian, even seeking help from Thanos.

"That's not quite right either. I believe you've heard of Captain Marvel, or Carol Danvers," Link said. "She's from Earth and entered space more than a decade ago."

"It's her?" The commander was taken aback, not expecting that the woman was also an Earthling, although they hadn't had any interaction.

The opponent's power is too great; they can traverse the universe on their own.

"Yes!" Link nodded. "Earth was previously invaded by the Chitauri, who were under Thanos's command, but we stopped them. So we formed the Avengers and entered the universe ahead of schedule, while the rest of civilization still needs to develop step by step."

"Our duty is to block threats from space. I've explored this place once before, but I didn't go to many areas, and I was lucky."

"The Avengers were purchased from the Collector in exchange for the Power Stone, but the news leaked out, and Ronan went to the Void for the Power Stone."

The commander relaxed a lot. Even though Earth hasn't reached the level of an interstellar civilization yet, Link alone is enough to terrify her.
