Chapter 82 A Bizarre Opponent

The streets of New York City were in chaos, with deafening explosions and screams mingling together, sparking fireworks in the dark night sky.

Cars and buses on the street were burning, spewing thick smoke. People ran in terror, trying to find shelter, their faces filled with despair and fear.

Through the phone screen, Starlight saw a group of criminals with superpowers wreaking havoc in Rockefeller Center, destroying everything in their path.

A superhuman capable of manipulating fire raises his hands in the center, unleashing a massive burst of flame that ignites surrounding buildings and forces passersby into a corner. Another burly mutant rampages through the street, using his immense strength to destroy anything that stands in his way.

Not far away, a criminal with telekinetic powers hovered in the air, manipulating surrounding objects, hurling cars, buses, and trash cans at the crowd, causing further chaos and destruction. Amidst this chaotic scene, countless citizens cried out as they fled, desperately seeking hope for survival.

The police department is also doing its best to deal with this emergency, but they seem helpless and powerless in the face of these criminals with superhuman strength.

"Shall we go here?" Starlight asked, looking at the screen. "Many people online are asking for help here."

"That's Iron Man's target. He's waiting for the situation to escalate to a certain point before making his move. I heard there will be a scene where other superheroes jump in to stop him but are defeated, and Iron Man steps in to stop them when they're about to be killed, all to highlight Iron Man's power."

Xiao Xian and Xing Guang explained that each company had defined its own prey, and it was inappropriate to arbitrarily cross over or steal the prey of another company's boss.
