After careful consideration, Peter ultimately could not resist Tomie's temptation and decided to confront Aunt May's wrath.

Actually, it wouldn't be impossible to sneak into his room at night wearing a mask, but then Xiao Xian and Fu Jiang would be staying together again. Just thinking about that ignited a burning jealousy within Peter, one he couldn't tolerate at all.

Peter is going to expose Xiao Xian's true colors to Tomie during the day; he can't let this cheating scumbag tarnish his goddess any longer.

Peter cautiously pushed open the door and stepped inside. A slipper was immediately thrown at his face. Peter, with his spider-like reflexes, could have dodged it, but to appease Aunt May's anger, he chose to catch it face-first.

"You dare come back!" Grabbing a broom, Aunt May stormed toward Peter.

"I was wrong, Aunt May, please don't hit my face." The broom fell like raindrops, but it didn't hit Peter very hard. Peter covered his face with his hands, ran back to his room under Aunt May's attack, and closed the door behind him.

"You come out here! Are you crazy?! You've got some nerve! You actually drugged me! If it weren't for your parents, I would have called the police yesterday and sent you to jail."

Aunt May pounded on the door in exasperation, while Peter raced against time to retrieve the Spider-Man suit from the ceiling and hide it in his backpack.

After getting to know each other better, Peter opened the door again, only to be greeted by the same broom-wielding beating he received.

"Aunt May, don't be angry. You always say that Mary Jane isn't right for me and that I should find another girl, right? I'm just doing what you want me to do." Peter grabbed the broom and tried to argue his way out of it.

"I told you to find a good girl, and you went and found a girl who's living with someone else and has a boyfriend???!!! And you even drugged me!! Peter Parker! Do you know what you're doing?!"

Aunt May tried to pull the broom, but found she couldn't budge it at all; Peter's strength was undeniably greater than hers. In fact, even if Peter hadn't gained superpowers, Aunt May wouldn't be a match for this young and strong man in terms of strength.

Seeing this, Aunt May felt a little melancholy. There was no doubt that Peter had grown up, at least physically, but psychologically and in his heart, Peter's behavior was not what an adult should be like.

If things continue like this, sooner or later Peter will pay a heavy price for his naivety and innocence. This price could be money, a bad romantic relationship, a beating, or even being sent to prison. If things get really bad, it could even be Peter's life.

Seeing Peter's unrepentant attitude, Aunt May trembled with anger.

"I know, I'm pursuing love. I promise this is the only and last time. Once I win over Tomie next door, it will all be worth it. She's my true love, Aunt May," Peter said confidently, as if true love could conquer all.

"Go to hell with your true love! Last month, when I found out you were using the allowance I gave you to buy gifts for Mary Jane, you said Mary Jane was your true love. Last week, you were excitedly asking me if you could take Mary Jane on a trip. And now you're telling me Tomie is your true love?"

Aunt Mei spat. She wasn't a three-year-old. Tomie had only moved here a few days ago, and Peter had probably barely exchanged ten words with her. Peter was simply lustful, lusting after Tomie's body.

"I was too young and naive before, and I didn't know how to judge people. That's why I fell for a green tea like Mary Jane. This time is different. I'm sure that Tomie is the one I'm going to spend the rest of my life with. I'll regret it for the rest of my life if I miss her." Peter said, putting down the broom when Aunt May wasn't looking, and ran to the door to run away.

"You absolutely mustn't do anything illegal to Xiao Xian or Fu Jiang, otherwise if they call the police, I won't be able to save you!" Seeing that Peter was unrepentant, Aunt Mei had no choice but to advise, "Don't have any unrealistic fantasies like expecting Fu Jiang to wait for you. By the time you get out of prison, her child might have already run away."

"I know, I'm confident." Patting his chest to indicate that he was confident, Peter slung his backpack over his shoulder and headed out.

After leaving the house, Peter didn't run downstairs, but instead ran upstairs.

In the living room, Tomie, who was watching a TV show, suddenly frowned. The next second, a Spider-Man dressed in a red and blue spider suit came in through the balcony window, swinging on his webs.

"Hello, beautiful lady." Peter landed precisely on the coffee table with a stylish landing pose, then greeted Tomie in a low voice.

Spider-Man?

Tomie frowned. Had she given herself away? Thinking about it carefully, she realized she had given herself away quite a bit. But why did she have to be targeted by a superhero at this particular moment? If it were any other prey, Tomie would definitely just run away, but Xiao Xian was the most perfect prey she had ever encountered. Giving up was absolutely out of the question.

Even at the risk of being locked in a laboratory and dissected by scientists, Tomie would never give up Xiao Xian. If another Tomie were to snatch him away and ruin him, she would regret it for all eternity.

"Don't worry, beautiful, I'm not here to steal anything. That's all slander against me in the newspapers. I'm here on behalf of a friend who asked me to deliver something."

When Peter saw Tomie's expression change drastically, he didn't realize that Tomie was actually a monster. Instead, he thought that Tomie was frightened by his past burglary and the fact that he was wanted by the police. So he quickly explained.

If the burglary was just a frame-up, Peter might not be so sensitive as to think about what to write based on Tomie's overreaction to the superhero. But the burglary was a fact, and Peter felt very guilty.

It's all those unscrupulous media outlets' fault! How can they broadcast news like that? Especially the truth, how can they just say things like that? They've ruined Spider-Man's reputation. Peter decides he'll go steal something from the news company another day to get revenge on them for slandering him.

"Huh? Delivering something?" Tomie, who was originally prepared to transform and fight, was taken aback. Why was this not how things were going?

"This is video evidence of your boyfriend having sex with May Parker yesterday," Spider-Man Peter Parker said, handing a hard drive to Tomie.

"To be honest, miss, your boyfriend's character is truly questionable. Having such a beautiful girlfriend like you and still choosing to cheat on you—I despise people like that the most." Spider-Man then took out several printed screenshots from his bag and showed them to Tomie.

"Look at this posture, sigh~ I can't even stand it anymore, he's really gone too far, how can there be such a man? But Miss Tomie, don't be too sad, not all men will cheat, there are still devoted men in this world."
