Chapter 15 Offering Hatred

After repeated confirmation, Mary Jane finally realized that the person on the phone with her was not a computer-generated voice, but Peter Benbi, Peter Parker himself.

For a moment, Mary Jane felt betrayed. She had humbly and subserviently pursued her for so many years, and now that she had money, she had turned into this?!

"But who told you to court death?" the man said as soon as he saw Tomie approaching.

"Hey beautiful, he said you're just average-looking. If you ask me, maybe you shouldn't date him anymore. Find a guy who appreciates your looks instead." The man practically had "I'm the one" written all over his face. After saying that, he felt his hints weren't obvious enough, so he went straight to the point: "Like me, I think you're the most beautiful."

Upon hearing this, Tomie glanced at Xiao Xian and noticed that he had raised his phone and was pointing it at the man, clearly recording him. She then smiled and said, "Prettier than your girlfriend?"

"Of course, you're much prettier than my girlfriend. Your beauty is mesmerizing," the man quickly replied, completely unaware that Xiao Xian was recording him. Perhaps, given the opportunity, even if he had noticed, he wouldn't have cared.

"Haha~ Thanks for the compliment, but even so, I still like him." Tomie responded with a smile, then walked up to Xiao Xian, struck a pose, and said, "How about it?"
