This question is the starting point of all philosophy. For Superman Chen Tao, he seems to be the one who can explain it, but for him, Superman Chen Tao is often just a tool he uses to fight against the Batman Who Laughs and Perpetual.

Superman Chen Tao listened blankly as his creator spoke. He had only agreed to Batman Dragon's suggestion to take him to the Baby Multiverse to leave this world after he left the body of the Batman Who Laughs, feeling that he had no reason to stay in the DC Multiverse.

He didn't actually want anything or have anything he absolutely had to achieve. Even after experiencing so many things, he was still limited by the emotions and knowledge he inherited from Chen Tao, which were written into his underlying code.

The memories and emotions—or rather, the soul—of Batman Dragon, named Chen Tao, were too heavy, crushing him from the very beginning of his creation. So when he just stared blankly as Batman Dragon disappeared before his eyes, Superman Chen Tao was completely bewildered.

After settling Superman Chen Tao in, Chen Tao himself wasn't curious about or continued to follow what Superman Chen Tao was doing. He simply returned to a more important point in time.

Beneath the night sky of Gotham City, Chen Tao stood tens of thousands of meters above the city. He lowered his head, his gaze piercing through layers of clouds and the perennial drizzle of Gotham City, through the acidic rain, through the thick layers of soil of Wayne Manor, and directly into the Batcave underground.

Inside the cave, Batman, or rather, Chen Tao who had just transmigrated, was holding toilet paper from the Batcave, trying hard to find a way to activate his synchronization and gain some kind of power that would allow him to cope with his Batman career.

If Chen Tao jumps for even a little longer, he will be able to see what he looked like before he traveled through time, in that instant.

Chen Tao himself possessed many origins that even he couldn't distinguish. He himself couldn't figure out whether these origins were real or fake, because they were all real and existed simultaneously within the trans-timeline. Chen Tao simply had no way to trace their origins.

He could easily answer questions about Superman Chen Tao's birth and the mission he was given at birth. He could also easily persuade Superman Chen Tao to lay down his heavy burden and casually tell him that his mission was complete and that he could live the rest of his life freely.

But no one could say that to Chen Tao.

No one could explain to Chen Tao his birth, his existence, nor could anyone tell him that he could finally restore Fiji in his own world and receive the peace and freedom that had long been promised to him.

Chen Tao was well aware that his Infant Multiverse was at best a copy of the DC Multiverse, and this meant one thing—

A large vampire cloned a small vampire.

The birth of a normal multiverse requires a transcendent being to sacrifice themselves, just as Papetua did for the DC multiverse and Doctor Manhattan for the Watchmen universe.

However, Chen Tao's baby multiverse did not have this problem because he was copied by the World Forger and naturally inherited the inherent flaws of the DC multiverse caused by Perpetua's refusal to fulfill his duties, namely the never-ending battle between good and evil and the constant rebooting.

This means that Chen Tao's journey is not completely over. He will drive the new Baby Multiverse toward the edge of the Omnipotent Universe, and then break free from the shadow of the DC Multiverse to try to solve problems on his own.

Of course, this newborn baby multiverse will not be as chaotic as the DC multiverse, because in essence, the three brothers of the sixth dimension are actually just scraps of Perpetua's power. Their mother created them only to make it easier to manage the DC multiverse. After sealing their mother, they were simply unable to contain the chaos of this world.

But Chen Tao was different. His power was more than enough to suppress the entire Infant Multiverse, but he couldn't suppress it forever. He needed to find another solution that wouldn't cause so many tragedies in this universe.

Chen Tao is like a software engineer; no matter how brilliant he is, he can't make a computer whose hardware doesn't have that port perform the functions that require a port.

So this is what Chen Tao is doing now.

He wants to transcend the influence of the trans-temporal flow and trace back to his origin.

Or rather—

He wants to force the time-traveling system to give him an answer.

An answer that is neither written by himself nor automatically generated by the super-time stream.

And the way forward may lie within it.

Chen Tao's intuition told him this.
