Chapter 277 The Decisive and Ruthless Andy
Chapter 277 The Decisive and Ruthless Andy
"Ron!!"
The sudden turn of events startled Harry.
Harry never expected that, in the middle of the night, besides himself, Ron, and Filch who was chasing after them, there would be a fourth person present.
Moreover, this person attacked Ron for no reason whatsoever.
Fortunately, the explosion occurred some distance from Ron, who was only thrown by the shockwave and did not appear to be seriously injured.
Andy revealed himself, and with another wave of his wand, the withered branches on the ground turned into ropes that bound Ron tightly.
"Andy! It's you?" Harry exclaimed in surprise.
"Harry!" Andy nodded to Harry, then looked cautiously at Ron, wand in hand, and slowly approached Ron step by step.
"What... what's going on?" Harry asked, looking shocked.
He looked at Ron. "How's Ron?"
Andy didn't answer, and in a few steps, he was within ten meters of Ron.
Ron was tied to the ground like a caterpillar, his head tilted back, his blue eyes fixed on Andy.
"Andy Collins..." Ron uttered a chilling voice.
"Ron!"
Harry was horrified. He rushed to Andy's side, looking at Ron with a panicked expression. "Andy, is Ron being controlled?"
"It seems so!" Andy nodded, not moving any closer to Ron.
"What do we do now?" Harry asked anxiously.
"Huffing and puffing!"
Filch came running up, panting, his face beaming with excitement, as if he had accomplished something extraordinary. "Haha, look who I caught! Potter, Weasley, and the infamous Collins!"
Andy: "..."
Shouldn't it be the famous Harry Potter?
Also, are you sure you've caught us?
Filch glanced at Ron lying on the ground, his face growing even more excited, a sinister smile creeping across his lips. "Are you fighting? I'll definitely suggest Dumbledore lock the three of you in the basement; there are lots of fun little toys there."
"Gulp!"
Harry swallowed hard, then stammered, "Ron's been controlled. We're doing this to save him!"
Filch grinned. "You can explain those reasons to Dumbledore and see if he believes you. All I see is that you've got him under your control."
As Filch spoke, he walked toward Ron, seemingly intending to untie the ropes binding him.
"Andy?" Harry looked at Andy, bewildered.
Although Ron was being controlled, he was still Ron's friend. Although Filch was disliked, he was still a Hogwarts staff member.
When faced with this situation, the protagonist of justice is usually helpless.
"Don't rush, let's take a look first." Andy remained unmoved.
If Ron was merely under the influence of the Imperius Curse, then Filch would not be in any danger.
But if what controls Ron is Voldemort's Horcrux... then sending Filch over to test the waters wouldn't be a bad idea.
As for whether Filch can rescue Ron... Andy doesn't think a Squib can do that.
Seeing Harry standing to the side like a lackey, Andy couldn't help but remind him, "Harry, take out your wand."
"Uh... okay!" Harry took out his wand.
This year's young wizards are really uncivilized; they don't even know to take out their wands when faced with a crisis.
Filch walked over to Ron and fiddled with the ropes binding him.
It was created by transfiguration; the entire rope was a single, seamless piece, with no knots whatsoever.
There is no solution.
"Collins, dispel your spell!" Filch said.
Harry quickly turned to look at Andy.
Ron's condition was unclear, and he certainly didn't want Andy to break the spell. But Filch was a staff member of the school, and they couldn't refuse his orders.
Andy didn't even glance at Filch, but stared intently into Ron's eyes, his Occlumency fully activated, and said calmly, "What if I don't undo it?"
Ron didn't speak. Filch suddenly stood up, his face contorted with rage as he glared at Andy, his voice sharp and menacing. "Collins, undo your spell, or I'll have Dumbledore kick you out of Hogwarts."
Andy tapped his wand, and a bright white beam of magic shot out instantly, sending Filch flying more than three meters away before he collapsed unconscious on the ground.
"Andy!!" Harry's mouth dropped open, staring at Andy in utter shock.
You attacked the church... well, Filch is just a doorman.
but……
Those are employees of Hogwarts.
Which student would dare to attack school staff?
Andy glanced at Harry. "As long as you don't say anything, nobody will know."
"Of course I won't tell." Harry has always been loyal in this regard.
"Andy, what about Ron?" Harry continued to ask.
After witnessing Filch's reaction, Andy was basically certain of one thing—Voldemort's Horcrux was on Ron.
Andy glanced back in the direction of the castle.
If nothing unexpected happens, someone else will be able to keep Dumbledore occupied tonight.
That was the original owner of the Horcrux, but he should now be under the control of the Imperius Curse.
"Andy Collins..."
Ron stared intently at Andy, his voice hoarse, completely different from his usual self. "You should have already been inside that lab, right?"
"For someone who isn't a descendant of Slytherin to be able to discover that place, I must say, you are an exceptionally talented young wizard."
Harry shouted, "Ron, what's wrong?"
Andy calmly said, "Voldemort, you're not pretending anymore?"
"Voldemort!?" Harry stared at Ron in shock.
"You're very decisive!"
Ron, or rather, the fragment of Voldemort's soul, said, "Dumbledore has been lured away by me. That guy is senile; it's actually quite easy to fool him."
"Your appearance was actually a pleasant surprise."
Voldemort's Horcrux continued, "It is because of your presence that Dumbledore was able to focus on the other end with peace of mind."
That's it!
Andy raised an eyebrow and said, "But you still miscalculated."
Just like Voldemort said, Andy was too decisive.
Andy didn't care about hurting Ron, nor did he care about Filch.
Upon discovering the anomaly, Andy immediately took decisive action.
If Andy had hesitated to act for fear of hurting Ron, Ron would have already run into the Forbidden Forest.
In that case, Voldemort could control Ron to Apparate at any time.
Furthermore, after discovering Ron's unusual behavior, Andy even sent Filch to test the waters in order to determine whether Ron was being controlled by the Imperius Curse or Voldemort's Horcruxes.
