Chapter 271 Andy Decides to Break Through His Limits

Chapter 271 Andy Decides to Break Through His Limits

As someone who grew up in a peaceful environment, Andy was still hesitant about risking his life.

In particular, Andy has already died once.

This made Andy cherish his life even more.

Andy sometimes admires the protagonists who transmigrate in novels. In their previous lives, they were just ordinary people, but once they transmigrate, they dare to fight to the death with others.

Andy didn't dare.

But thinking about it, it makes sense. Other people's stat allocation systems can directly improve their strength, but Andy's stat allocation system can only improve his talent.

The cheats they use are a whole level below theirs.

"Sigh!" Andy sighed.

Being afraid of death is actually a good thing, but being so afraid of death that you dare not challenge dangerous enemies is not a good thing.

After all, the magical world is not safe.

"Actually, everyone has to go through this sooner or later. Now that I have the experience of a life-or-death battle, I will be able to face this kind of thing more calmly in the future."

Andy considered the situation carefully, thinking, "Besides, Dumbledore is protecting us in the castle. The old headmaster is a man of integrity; he wouldn't let his students be in danger, would he?"

"call--"

Andy breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Bottoms up!"

Andy had a premonition that if he really broke through this mental barrier, his [Willpower] attribute would likely break through to [3] points.

This calculation means we've saved three potential points and more than a month of time.

No matter how you look at it, it's a huge profit!

"What's wrong with you?"

Hermione looked at Andy strangely. "Your expression changed after reading that letter, and now you're sighing a lot."

"I've made a decision!" Andy said seriously.

"What decision?" Hermione asked, puzzled.

I'll tell you later!

Andy chuckled and whispered, "Hermione, cover for me for a bit. I need to go to the headmaster's office, and I need you to keep watch in the hallway."

"Why are you being so secretive about going to the principal's office...?"

She'd only gotten halfway through her sentence when Hermione suddenly realized, "Andy, have you discovered some clue?"

"Hmm!" Andy smiled smugly.

Hermione didn't ask any further questions, and the two quickly finished their breakfast.

Avoiding the crowd, Andy and Hermione arrived at the eighth floor of the castle.

"You can go in now!"

As Hermione spoke, she took out her wand and waved it gently.

"Protect the Gods!"

The otter guardian appeared, circled in the air, and then disappeared into the wall.

"Thanks!" Andy said.

After receiving the password from Professor Flitwick, Andy took a deep breath and calmly walked into the principal's office.

"Good morning, Headmaster Dumbledore!" Andy greeted him.

"It's Collins..."

Dumbledore's aged voice slowly rang out, "I've been wondering when you'll come looking for me."

Andy was somewhat surprised, raising an eyebrow and saying, "You guessed I'd come looking for you?"

"Please sit down!"

Dumbledore asked, "What would you like to drink?"

"Orange juice is fine, thank you!" Andy said.

A glass of orange juice appeared out of nowhere on the desk, and Andy picked it up and took a big gulp.

Dumbledore looked directly at Andy through his half-moon spectacles. "Yes! After seeing Weasley yesterday, I knew you would come looking for me."

Andy nodded, somewhat understanding.

What he could think of, Dumbledore could naturally think of as well.

This old man lived to be over a hundred years old and had a deep understanding of the changes in people's hearts. Moreover, this person was Voldemort—Dumbledore had studied him for at least several decades.

I received a letter this morning.

Andy confessed, "If I'm not mistaken, the letter was sent to me by Voldemort's Horcrux. He asked me to do something for him, and after he leaves Hogwarts, he will send me the information on transmutation."

Dumbledore seemed somewhat dismissive, "Voldemort doesn't share power and immortality with anyone."

"Of course! That's why I don't trust him," Andy said casually.

Dumbledore looked at Andy. "Where's the letter?"

"Well……"

Andy was a little embarrassed. "I burned it."

Dumbledore: "..."

Andy quickly explained, "I can't help it, I'm used to it. I can't keep these secret letters with me, can I?"

Dumbledore didn't dwell on the matter. He asked, "So, what do you plan to do?"

"Lure the snake out of its hole!" Andy said bluntly.

Dumbledore was silent for a moment, seemingly weighing the pros and cons.

In Dumbledore's vision, having Harry face off against Voldemort would be the best outcome.

This way, the protective magic Lily left on Harry can be verified, while Harry's courage and abilities can be strengthened.

Dumbledore asked himself if, if he risked his life, killing Voldemort wouldn't be a problem, given that Voldemort couldn't escape.

The problem is how to find Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Dumbledore had been investigating the whereabouts of the Horcruxes. He knew Voldemort, who was a man full of rituals and nostalgia.

His Horcrux must have been something of great historical value, and he hid it in some special place.

But this is not absolute!

Therefore, Dumbledore needs Harry.

But Andy...

Andy is an unexpected little wizard; he's talented, resourceful, and works hard to achieve his dreams. More importantly, Andy is intelligent, perceptive, and possesses a unique analytical ability regarding changes in things.

If Andy were to face Voldemort...

Although Andy had nothing to do with the prophecy, no one ever said that the person who defeats the dragon and saves the princess must be the hero of destiny.

Perhaps some wise man will pass by and, on a whim, trample the dragon to death.

"What did he ask you to do?" Dumbledore asked.

"Just kidnap someone and send them to the screaming shed," Andy said, shrugging.

In fact, Voldemort's Horcruxes had already controlled a young wizard, who could leave Hogwarts at any time.

However, he could not leave directly.

If someone is missing from Hogwarts, it's tantamount to telling Dumbledore that the Horcrux is in that person's hands.

Even if Voldemort transferred his Horcruxes after leaving Hogwarts, Dumbledore could still find out.

To put it bluntly, a Horcrux is just a Dark Magic item. If he wanted to hide it, that would be easy. But if he wanted to be resurrected, he had to avoid Dumbledore's sight.

By kidnapping someone outside of school, Voldemort's Horcruxes could directly control that person, allowing him to leave Hogwarts unnoticed.

Dumbledore smiled faintly upon hearing this and said, "I know Voldemort; he won't let you do this."

"He's trying to divert attention and create the illusion that he's already left Hogwarts?" Andy asked in surprise.

Dumbledore continued, "If Voldemort had control over students in their third year and above, he could have attacked anyone in Hogsmeade and then moved himself out."

Andy slapped his forehead.

It really is!

Dumbledore blinked and continued, "Of course, perhaps he hasn't realized it yet."

"However, I think he was more interested in uncovering Harry's secrets before leaving."
