Chapter 27 The Troubled Gryffindor

Chapter 27 The Troubled Gryffindor

Each Hogwarts class lasts one hour and twenty minutes. After a twenty-minute break, Ravenclaw will have a Charms class with Gryffindor.

The Charms teacher is the headmaster of Ravenclaw—Felius Flitwick.

According to the intelligence provided by the Weasley twins, Professor Flitwick is highly skilled.

Although he was only a little over a meter tall, he was a dueling champion in his youth and a wizard with some achievements.

It is said that he has a very good personality, is gentle and humorous, and is not too strict with his students, but he is naturally a bit sensitive—if you bring up topics like heads or mixed-race monsters in front of him, he will be very upset.

Despite having already endured the torment of two incompetent professors, Binns and Quirrell, Andy was still full of anticipation for this Charms class.

The Charms class classroom, like the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, is located on the third floor of the castle.

When Andy and Hermione arrived, the classroom was empty.

They found a seat near the front and placed their textbooks on the table, thus reserving the seats.

"What exactly are your and Malfoy's plans?"

Since there were no outsiders in the classroom, Hermione decided to talk to Andy about something private. "Andy, I heard from my roommate that the Malfoy family and..."

Hermione suddenly stopped mid-sentence.

She moved closer to Andy and lowered her voice, saying, "Their family is connected to the mysterious man."

"With whom?"

Andy looked completely bewildered. "The Malfoys are connected to Voldemort? How come I didn't know that?"

After saying that, Andy asked with a puzzled look, "You didn't grow up listening to Voldemort stories, so why don't you dare call him by his name directly?"

"I'm only thinking of you!"

Hermione rolled her eyes at Andy. "If you ask me, Voldemort has been dead for ten years, why are you still so afraid of him? You don't even dare to call him by his name?"

"Voldemort cast a spell on his name, so he could sense anyone who called him by his name."

Andy explained, "During the last Wizarding War, many people got into trouble because of this, and gradually people stopped daring to call him by his name."

"As for children... they are all influenced by adults."

Hermione nodded knowingly. "I see!"

After explaining Voldemort's situation, Andy couldn't help but feel a headache coming on again.

I never imagined that the Malfoy family was connected to Voldemort.

Are they Death Eaters who escaped trial?

Or is it... just some gossip from those little witches?

If Malfoy was a Death Eater...

Huh? It doesn't seem to have much of an impact.

Andy thought about it and realized that even if old Malfoy was a Death Eater, it wouldn't stop him from driving Quirrell away.

After all, he didn't know that Quirrell's brain had been eaten by Voldemort.

Moreover, this was also a test.

If old Malfoy doesn't dare to drive Quirrell away, it proves that he not only knows Voldemort is still alive, but is even secretly working for Voldemort.

"You still haven't answered me."

Hermione pressed, "What exactly is your plan with Malfoy?"

"You asked that?"

Andy explained, "Old Malfoy is a Hogwarts school trustee. I asked Malfoy to collect some suggestions from the students and then give them to Old Malfoy."

Hermione said, somewhat annoyed, "Why don't you just give the suggestion to Headmaster Dumbledore directly?"

Andy shrugged. "Quirk could not have become a professor at Hogwarts without Dumbledore's approval."

"It's useless to give feedback to the principal."

"I'm going to write a letter of recommendation to Headmaster Dumbledore. If he agrees to change the professor, you must stop." Hermione clearly admired Dumbledore and didn't want to see him being put in a difficult position by old Malfoy.

"OK!" Andy readily agreed.

If Dumbledore could fire Quirrell earlier, that would be ideal.

The fundamental reason Andy did all these things was simply because he wanted to study hard.

Is it wrong to study hard?

Even if the four founders of Hogwarts knew about this, they would probably be so pleased that they would crawl out of their coffins and personally tutor Andy!

Time passed by, and the number of students in the classroom gradually increased.

Around 10:40, the classroom door was suddenly opened, and a large group of Gryffindor wizards rushed in from outside.

Their wizard robes were filthy, their faces were covered in dust, and they had an indescribable strange smell.

It looks like a big dung ball.

Andy asked curiously, "Ron, did you guys... fight with Slytherin?"

Andy had no choice but to guess.

All the young wizards in Gryphon were in a sorry state; no matter how you looked at it, it was no ordinary situation.

"Don't even mention it."

Ron said somewhat irritably, "We just finished a herb class, and the whole class was spent fertilizing those herbs. Seamus even blew up the fertilizer bucket."

Andy: "?"

Andy could understand the first part, but the last part... how exactly did Seamus blow up the fertilizer barrel?

Andy looked around and asked, "Where's Neville?"

"He's in the school infirmary," Harry explained.

Andy: "..."

So, you had a herbalism class where you not only blew up the fertilizer bins, but also sent a junior wizard to the school infirmary, and everyone else was a complete mess...

Talent!

I thought you guys had gotten into a brawl with the Slytherins!

"I mean, the herbs in Hogwarts Herbalism class... are they the kind of herbs I understand?" Andy asked cautiously.

Harry sighed. "Although it's different from what I've seen before, it should be the kind of herb you're thinking of. We just had a little accident."

"That's good!" Andy breathed a sigh of relief.

Hermione also breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, she listened to Andy and decided to go to Ravenclaw during the sorting process, otherwise she would have become a Gryffindor.

That's terrifying!

……

Soon, the Spells class began.

Professor Flitwick stood on a high stool so that all the young wizards in the classroom could see him.

He glanced around the room.

"We were supposed to start by learning the most basic spells, but seeing you all... I've decided to teach you some spells that you can use right now."

The little wizards in the classroom are really having a tough time.

Not to mention the young wizards of Gryffindor, even the young wizards of Ravenclaw reek of garlic.

If Frivi didn't do something soon, he felt he might faint.

"Alright, does anyone know what the cleansing spell is? What does it do?" Flitwick asked.

Hermione raised her arms high and turned to look at Andy.

Andy blinked; he didn't have the habit of answering questions in class.

If Professor Flitwick had asked, "Is there anything else you don't understand?", Andy would definitely have raised his hand.
