Chapter 235 Am I still your favorite student?

In the days that followed, undercurrents were running deep at Hogwarts.

Firstly, because the Quidditch match was approaching, the teams from all four houses were making the most of their training time.

Especially Gryffindor and Slytherin.

The atmosphere between the two houses is unusually tense due to the fight last month. A young wizard in Gryffindor got food poisoning, and both houses suspect Slytherin is responsible.

In this atmosphere, the young wizards of Gryffindor and Slytherin have been particularly cautious lately.

Many people are afraid to go to the toilet alone, fearing that they might accidentally be knocked unconscious and wake up to find their head stuffed into the toilet.

Secondly... Harry and Ron have completely clashed with Snape—they suspect that Snape is plotting a conspiracy against Hogwarts.

However, there is no evidence yet.

Unlike Harry, who was burdened with heavy responsibilities, Andy was enjoying a peaceful and carefree time, and even Hermione could sense his sunny and cheerful personality.

"Andy, you seem to be in a great mood today?" Hermione asked Andy with a curious look on her face as they walked to the Great Hall.

Andy has been very busy this semester, so busy that he's practically invisible. This is the first time the little witch has ever seen Andy so relaxed and carefree.

Andy laughed and said, "Professor Flitwick told me that people from the magazine are coming today. Once they confirm the authenticity of the Patronus Charm, my paper can be published in the magazine."

"Andy, congratulations!" Hermione said happily.

Andy continued, "Also, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor will be arriving today. The books and manuscripts in the Chamber of Secrets have been translated... Hermione, would you like to see them?"

Of course, these are not important.

What truly made Andy happy was that he had finally found the key to magical transformation—willpower.

A steadfast will can grant immunity to all the adverse effects of magic.

Whether it's dark magic or magical transformation... when one's will is strong enough, the side effects of magic cannot affect Andy.

"Magical transformation?"

Hermione hesitated for a moment, then shook her head and said, "That knowledge is a bit too early for me."

Andy nodded slightly upon hearing this.

Magical transformation... let's wait until I develop a version without side effects before letting Hermione try it!

After breakfast, Andy began his day's classes.

After class at noon, Andy and Hermione walked together toward Professor Flitwick's office to prepare for their magic test.

"Andy, I'm a little nervous." The little witch had originally wanted to witness this moment, but she was even more nervous than Andy himself, afraid that she might not do something right and cause Andy's paper to be unpublishable.

"What's there to be nervous about?"

Seeing this, Andy chuckled and said, "Haven't you seen my Patronus Charm? It's just a matter of waving your wand... it won't go wrong."

As they spoke, Andy and his companion had already reached the door of Frivy's office.

Deng Deng Deng!

"Please come in!"

Andy pushed open the door.

Besides Professor Flitwick, there was a wizard in his fifties and a photographer in his thirties in the office, who was holding a magic camera.

"Good afternoon, Professor Flitwick," Andy greeted him.

"Professor!" Hermione nodded in acknowledgment.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Collins and Miss Granger!"

Professor Flitwick said happily, "Let me introduce you. This is Mr. Carl Carbon, the editor-in-chief of the magazine 'The Future of Curses'."

"The other one is the magazine's photographer, Mr. Dennis Hatch."

Andy stepped forward and said, "Hello, Mr. Cabon and Mr. Hatch."

The magazine "The Future of Spells" mainly reports on the innovation and invention of spells, and enjoys a high degree of recognition and professionalism throughout the European magical community.

However, despite its fame, the magazine's sales were not high—after all, inventing and creating spells is inherently difficult, and not everyone likes to publish their own invented spells.

But once a new invention or a very useful improvement comes along, the magazine can easily sell out.

"Hello, Mr. Collins."

Mr. Cabon looked at Andy with astonishment. "If Felius hadn't told me so confidently that it was true, I would never have believed it... Oh, even now, I still can't believe it."

"The guardian deity can use magic... Merlin, this is incredible! Mr. Collins, I can't wait to see it for myself."

As he spoke, Mr. Kabang gestured to Hatch, who was standing next to him, to be ready to take a picture at any time.

"Of course!" Andy said, then simply took out his wand and waved it casually, and the fat cat Patronus shot out from the tip of the wand.

"Beautiful silent spellcasting, I can't believe a second-year wizard could do that. To be honest, I'm starting to believe it..."

Before he could finish his praise, Mr. Cabon's eyes were fixed on the fat cat guardian. He seemed to have seen something incredible, his eyes wide open.

"Oh, Merlin's beard!"

Mr. Cabon pushed up his glasses, which had slipped down to the tip of his nose. "Has this guardian spirit come to life? Mr. Collins, how...how did you do that?"

Andy raised an eyebrow. "It's written in the paper. And... Mr. Cabon, may we proceed with the testing?"

"Of course! What should we do?" Mr. Cabon seemed much more enthusiastic than before.

"Just use any spell on me," Andy said.

Mr. Cabon took out his wand. "You'd better watch out..."

As he spoke, Mr. Capone raised his wand and pointed it at Andy, and a bright white beam of magic shot out instantly.

Snapped!

A semi-transparent barrier lit up on the fat cat guardian, easily blocking Mr. Cabon's magic.

"This is the Ironclad Spell!"

Mr. Cabon exclaimed, "Incredible...absolutely incredible! Mr. Collins, can it use other magic?"

"Of course!" Andy nodded.

With a thought, a red light shone from the fat cat guardian and it rushed toward Mr. Capon at an extremely fast speed.

"That's a disarming spell!" Mr. Capon said, waving his wand to deflect the magic.

"Continue!" He seemed somewhat excited.

Andy raised an eyebrow. This old man is pretty impressive!

Andy glanced at Professor Flitwick, but Professor Flitwick's attention was completely drawn to the fat cat Patronus, and he didn't give Andy a second glance.

Pooh!Scumbag.

Am I still your favorite student?

When we used to discuss magic together, you said I was your favorite student. But now that you have the fat cat guardian spirit, I'm no longer in your eyes... right?

If you like cats, why don't you go after Professor McGonagall?
