Chapter 101 Classmates should help each other.
"What is it?" Andy asked, tilting his head.
"Hehe, that's how it is."
George said somewhat embarrassedly, "I wrote to my sister earlier, and she said Uncle Kyle bought a new flying broomstick. We were thinking that the Quidditch final is in a few months, so..."
"Could you...?" Fred said, while constantly gesturing to Andy with his eyes.
Dad bought a new flying broomstick?
Where did he get the money?
Did he embezzle again?
Andy rolled his eyes. "Don't forget, I'm Ravenclaw. How could I possibly aid the enemy?"
"This doesn't count as aiding the enemy!"
"Because Ravenclaw has been eliminated!"
George and Fred each said something, effectively shutting down Andy's words.
That's right, Ravenclaw has been eliminated!
"Okay! I'll write back and ask," Andy said dejectedly.
Thanks!
Fred patted Andy on the shoulder. "Once we win some money, we'll get you a double birthday present."
After saying that, George and Fred left satisfied, leaving Andy sitting there sighing.
"Don't be discouraged, junior. When I join the team next year, I will definitely lead Ravenclaw to a championship."
Hearing the voice from the other side, Andy looked up.
Autumn, Zhang.
Or rather, Zhang Qiu.
She was a second-year student at Ravenclaw, the only Chinese student in the school, and also a fellow countrywoman of Andy's from his previous life.
Andy and she weren't very familiar with each other; they had only met a few times in the common room and exchanged greetings a few times.
"Then you'd better keep it up," Andy said with a smile.
Now that the topic had been brought up, Andy decided to ask a few questions that had been weighing on his mind: "Qiu, are there wizards in China too?"
"I think so!"
Zhang Qiu said somewhat uncertainly, "My family immigrated to England a long time ago, and I'm the only witch in my family. But I think that since I can learn magic, there must be wizards in China too."
Andy nodded, "That makes sense."
Since Zhang Qiu is a witch, there must be witches in China.
Hermione looked curious as well, "I've heard that the situation in China is different from ours. I wonder what the magical world is like there."
Perhaps that place is called the Cultivation Realm?
Andy also asked curiously, "After graduation, I want to travel around and see what the magical world is like in other countries."
Hermione looked longingly at her. "We can start by making a travel plan."
"Hmm... first from Europe to Asia, and then take a ship to Egypt... what do you think?" Andy suggested.
"I need to look at the map before I can decide," Hermione decided, deciding to go to the library to look up information after dinner.
Cho looked at Andy on the left and Hermione on the right.
The two of them were talking to me just a moment ago, but as they chatted, they ended up getting close to each other.
Kids these days are so precocious! Zhang Qiu thought to herself.
In Andy's opinion, what's so precocious about this?
If this were in ancient times, they could have gotten engaged in two years.
Even in modern times, there are still plenty of young couples dating early; even elementary school students have partners.
"Autumn, do you have any plans to go back to China for summer vacation?" Andy wanted to find a proxy buyer.
"have no idea."
Zhang Qiu shook her head. "That depends on the family."
"If you plan to go back to China, I'd like you to help me buy some things," Andy said shyly.
"Sure! If I ever plan to return to China, I'll definitely let you know," Zhang Qiu said generously.
"Thanks!" Andy said gratefully.
The three then chatted about other topics. Andy was very interested in the Chinese magical community, but unfortunately, Zhang Qiu didn't know much about the situation there either.
Andy did want to visit China, but no family would let a teenager go out alone.
While Andy was having a great time chatting, little did he know that a little wizard on Hufflepuff's side was practically staring right at him.
After finishing breakfast and the freshly harvested melon from last night, Andy was satisfied and ready to go to the library to read.
"Hey, Andy!" Cedric Diggory casually walked past Andy as if he were just passing by.
"Hi, Cedric, good morning," Andy greeted him.
The Diggory family were also Andy's neighbors. Cedric was an excellent little wizard, while his father was a doting father.
"Are you going to the library?" Cedric asked, leaning closer.
Andy raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Yeah, I'm going to go read a book for a while."
"No wonder he's Ravenclaw, he really loves learning." Cedric praised him a couple of times, making himself a little embarrassed.
Hermione chuckled softly, looking down.
She could tell that Cedric wanted something from her, and it was something he was reluctant to say.
"Andy, we're neighbors, and I'm two years older than you. If you have any questions about your studies, you can come and ask me."
At this point, Cedric lowered his voice, "I'd even help you with your homework!"
Unsolicited kindness is either a sign of ulterior motives or theft!
"You're being way too obvious!"
Andy sighed. "So, what do you need my help with?"
"Hehehe—hehehehe—"
Cedric seemed a little shy, his voice barely audible, "Who was that Asian girl you were chatting with when we were having breakfast in the auditorium?"
"You mean Qiu Zhang?"
Hermione looked at Cedric with a mischievous grin. "Oh, I see, you want to get to know her!"
"Qiu Zhang? That's a really nice name." Cedric swooned.
Andy: "..."
As Andy passed by a window, he glanced sideways at the view outside.
understood!
Spring has arrived, a season of renewal and rebirth.
Andy patted Cedric on the shoulder. "Good bro! I talked to Qiu about things in the Chinese magical world earlier. If you're interested, you can look into that information."
"Thanks, Andy!"
Cedric looked grateful. "Your birthday is coming up soon, right? Tell me what you like."
Andy was also very satisfied.
See? This shows what it means to have a spiritual quality.
Then I think about my three awful roommates, who are even reluctant to spend their allowance on buying snacks for girls.
Look at Cedric, he's willing to spend a fortune just for a chance to meet Zhang Qiu.
Andy wouldn't be surprised at all if Cedric won the heart of the beauty.
"Also, Qiu plans to participate in next year's Ravenclaw Quidditch team trials. Aren't you Hufflepuff's suitor? This is your chance too."
Seeing that Cedric was somewhat sensible, Andy was happy to say more, "I'll find an opportunity for the four of us—hermione, you, and Cho Chang—to get together. When that happens, Hermione and I will talk, and to avoid awkwardness, you two will just talk to each other."
"Thanks, bro!" Cedric said gratefully.
In the Chinese magical world, there's still Quidditch...
Cedric already knew what topics to prepare.
Andy said meaningfully, "Cedric, I know a secret passage leading to Hogsmeade."
"George and the others told you, right?"
Cedric patted Andy on the shoulder. "My treat!"
