Chapter 311 Split into Two Groups to Seize the Soul Weapon
Wizards' news is far less timely than that of ordinary people.
Even the wizards couldn't imagine that someone had already started a war somewhere in the world.
Even Ryan, a radical, never had such an idea. His idea was always to build high walls, store up grain, and wait until he could declare himself king.
Now that he has the Big Ivan, who is just one step away from being successfully detonated, he sincerely believes that he must at least build the Wizard Tower before he can start making moves in the world of ordinary people.
Hogwarts Castle.
The lights in the principal's office stayed on all night.
The strongest wizards and the heads of Hogwarts sat together with furrowed brows.
"How many Horcruxes does Voldemort actually possess now?"
Ryan couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Of the four great Voldemors' relics, only Gryffindor's sword is intact. The two Voldemors that Gale and I saw, one was carrying Slytherin's locket, and the other was carrying Hufflepuff's golden cup," Dumbledore said.
"So, the whereabouts of Ravenclaw's tiara are still unknown?" Flitwick's dark circles were particularly severe. While researching his super spell, he often felt that there wasn't enough time, so he started staying up late and working overtime.
"Would Lady Helena know?" Dumbledore looked out the window. Given his status, it was naturally inappropriate for him to ask a deceased lady for information.
Especially since he already knew that Ms. Helena and Ms. Ravenclaw had a less than harmonious relationship.
"Then I'll do it. I'll explain the current situation to Ms. Helena in detail, and I don't think she'll make things difficult for us juniors," Flitwick said. As the headmaster of Ravenclaw, this was his duty.
"Alright, besides that, I found two places where Horcruxes might exist. One is a remote cliff in the area where his childhood orphanage was located, and the other is the Gaunt family's old house."
Dumbledore was quite reliable; he easily dealt with two Voldemors.
He said, "I originally wanted to use these two places to test the young people, but now it seems better to be more cautious. Moreover, time is of the essence, so we can split into two groups, one going to the remote cliffs and the other to the Gaunt old house."
The test he was referring to for the young man was, of course, Harry after he was enhanced by the Voldemort fragments.
Everyone is well aware of this. Given the current situation, they actually consider Ryan as one of their own, rather than a promising young man.
In other words, Ryan is now a strongman, not a weakling who is expected to succeed.
Therefore, a successor needs to be cultivated, and the first one that comes to mind is naturally Harry Potter, who possesses two Voldemort fragments.
"Lane and I are going to the cliffs. Gale will stay at Hogwarts. Nico, could you please take some men to Gaunt House?"
Dumbledore assigned the tasks, and the reason he kept Gale behind was simply because Gale's only teammate was him, Dumbledore; anyone else would only get a headache just seeing Gale.
But now we need to split into two groups, with the two legends leading the way. At this point, Gale has no choice but to stay at Hogwarts to oversee things.
In this way, if Helbo and Voldemort were to attack Hogwarts at that time, the safety of Hogwarts could be guaranteed.
The situation was urgent, and Dumbledore, guided by the phoenix, disappeared with Ryan.
A massive alchemical matrix appeared before Nicolas Flamel, and then a silver watch on the table began to glow with blue light; the door key was complete.
He looked around and picked out an older man named Slughorn from the group of young people. The two of them went to the Gaunt old house using the door key.
The sea smells salty and fishy. The waves surge and crash against the cliffs, yet the moonlit sea and the star-studded night sky appear remarkably tranquil.
Ryan and Dumbledore stood on the edge of a cliff, with a crack in front of them through which the sea was churning.
"Go in from here?" Ryan pointed to the crack.
Dumbledore nodded, and the Elder Wand tapped himself and Lane, casting a spell on them. This was enough to allow them to enter the water without getting wet.
"Is this a waterproof spell?" Ryan curiously put his hand into the water and found that the water consciously avoided his palm, forming a concave arc-shaped water surface where his palm was.
"Some minor changes, nothing to worry about."
The two walked in the water, and soon the crevice they were in turned into a dark passage, the space expanded, and the two sides of the space were rock walls covered with light green moss and mud.
The two climbed the steps, which led to a vast, naturally formed cave.
This place seemed to be a front hall. After glancing around, Ryan focused his gaze on the stone wall. He could sense that this stone had witnessed magic.
However, a deeper analysis is needed to determine what kind of magic this stone carries; he cannot do so merely by observing it from a distance.
Of course, given his method of exploring ruins, as long as he exerts enough force, a miracle is bound to occur.
Dumbledore clearly knew his nature, so he approached the stone wall and tapped his wand on it.
He was terrified that if he let Ryan try, he would see one blasting spell after another forcibly blow this place up.
Ryan stood behind Dumbledore as punishment: "So? What kind of solution do you need?"
He saw Dumbledore's very contemptuous expression, shook his head and said, "A very low-level method, using blood as a medium to extract some of the intruder's magic."
"Alright, I'll do it then." Ryan didn't even consult Dumbledore before slashing his arm open, and a large amount of blood gushed out.
As someone who entered the ranks of Grand Wizards based on magic, his magical power is undoubtedly immense; at the Grand Wizard level, no one can compare to him.
The only legend who could surpass him was Dumbledore, but the loss of magic by Dumbledore and the loss of magic by him were two completely different things.
The magic required to drain this door would likely be a significant burden for Dumbledore. For him, it's a piece of cake.
Of course, given Voldemort's personality, anyone below the level of a Grand Wizard probably wouldn't be qualified to touch the protective magic he left behind. So if it were Harry in his place, Dumbledore would probably have to bleed him out.
Dumbledore clearly knew this as well, and he did not stop Lane.
Bright red blood droplets covered the surface of the rock. Suddenly, the rocks on the cave wall disappeared, forming a doorway.
Behind the archway lay a vast, black lake. The top of the cave was not visible; only a hazy, shimmering green light could be seen in the center of the lake.
Clearly, that was their destination; Voldemort's Horcruxes must be kept there.
