Pokémon: Simultaneous time travel, this Ash is too versatile

Chapter 466 At this moment, bonds transform into power, Greninja in Bond Form!

Ash didn't retreat an inch when faced with the charging Gyarados.

There are no Greninja frogs either.

The waveguide connection between the two became clearer than ever before. Ash clearly felt that what came from Greninja was not fear, but an ever-increasing fighting spirit.

"We can get even stronger, right, Greninja!" Ash shouted, his voice echoing clearly through the trembling arena.

"Cock-a-doodle-doo!!" Greninja responded, its cry piercing through the roar of Gyarados.

The moment the words left his mouth, a jet of water shot into the sky from beneath Greninja's feet.

The water jet was thick and powerful, shooting straight up the open skylight at the top of the dojo with overwhelming force, splashing water everywhere and enveloping the entire venue in a hazy mist.

Within the water column, the form of the Greninja frog also began to change.

A huge X-shaped scar appeared on his back, as if something had been attached to it, and his tongue stretched out even longer at the nape of his neck, fluttering in the water like a cloak.

A deep red cross appeared on its head, and the sides of its ears turned black. Upon closer inspection, it actually looks somewhat like Ash!

Those scarlet eyes, even through the water column, clearly revealed their sharp gaze.

At this moment, bonds transform into power!

"This is!" Adu suddenly stood up from his seat, his usually calm expression now filled with shock.

Xiaoxia and Serena also got up at almost the same time, their eyes wide open, staring intently at the increasingly unfamiliar figure in the water column.

Even the usually composed Cynthia showed a rare hint of emotion in her expression.

She subconsciously took out her keystone from her bosom. The stone that usually resonated with the evolution stones of Pokémon was now completely unresponsive, as quiet as an ordinary stone.

"Not Mega Evolution—" Cynthia murmured, her golden eyes filled with inquiry.

Since the Key Stone didn't react, it was clearly not the MEGA evolution she was familiar with.

But how can we explain this change in Greninja?

That was clearly a further step, a form of evolution she had never heard of or seen before.

What alarmed her even more was that the aura of the Greninja in the water column was rising wildly, so powerful that she couldn't quite grasp it.

As for exactly how far it has reached—

Cynthia narrowed her eyes slightly; even she couldn't clearly perceive that upper limit.

It's unbelievable that a beginner-level professional Pokémon could be so powerful that even a champion-level trainer like her couldn't sense its maximum potential. But it's actually happened.

Adu, standing beside him, did the same. He concentrated and sensed for a long time before finally shaking his head slowly, his face filled with solemnity.

Even the two champions couldn't fathom the Greninja's current strength; it seemed to have broken through some kind of conventional constraints.

"Just how many trump cards does that Ash Ketchum still have hidden?" Aru shook his head with a wry smile.

Although Xiao Guang did not stand up, he was so shocked by the scene before him that his mouth was wide open and he couldn't say a word.

She felt that Ash and Greninja had become one, although she had that feeling from the beginning, it wasn't very strong.

Now there is a feeling of complete integration, where we are indistinguishable from one another.

Is this the power generated by the bond between humans and elves?

On the other side of the field, Xiaochun's excitement had frozen, replaced by deep astonishment.

She opened her mouth, gazing at the figure enveloped in the water column, and for the first time, she felt an indescribable emotion.

The Greninja that was forcibly upgraded from a beginner to a beginner gym level now seems to have a truly deadly power that threatens Gyarados!

"Gyarados!" Xiaochun suppressed the shock in her heart and shouted sharply.

But her shouts came too late. Gyarados, carrying its ultimate impact, crashed into Greninja's location like a purple comet.

However, just as the two were about to make contact, the Greninja in the water column merely twirled its toes slightly.

"Crack!" The floor beneath his feet shattered, and spiderweb-like cracks instantly covered the spot where he stood.

The next moment, Greninja vanished from its spot.

Gyarados's unstoppable ultimate charge slammed into the empty ground, kicking up a cloud of dust and rubble, and crashed heavily against the barrier, creating ripples that spread out in concentric circles.

But this attack ultimately missed.

"Where did it go?" Xiaochun held her breath and focused, but she couldn't find any trace of the Greninja.

The next instant, Greninja appeared like a ghost high in the sky behind Gyarados: "Behind you!"

The moment Ash's voice fell, a dazzling light suddenly shone on Greninja's feet, and its entire body descended from the sky like a falling streak of light.

Swallows return!

"Bang!!"

It slammed solidly onto Gyarados's head.

The massive body was slammed straight into the ground by this kick, creating a huge crater, sending debris flying everywhere, and the entire dojo trembled!

Gyarados let out a painful howl, nearly losing half its life from that kick, and its crimson eyes became somewhat unfocused.

"How could this be—" Xiaochun murmured to herself, her pretty face full of disbelief.

Adu slowly sat up straight, his eyes gleaming. Xiaogang gasped, speechless for a long time.

"That speed—that power—the Pokémon that was just being overwhelmed by Air Slash, and in the blink of an eye, it's trampling a Gyarados, a top-tier gym leader, under its feet?"

This earth-shattering change sent chills down the spines of everyone present.

Even with MEGA evolution, there shouldn't be such a terrifying leap in size.

Could it be that Ash's Aura Fusion and Mega Evolution combined to produce a magical reaction? But that doesn't make sense either. Ash's Aura Fusion has always been at a maximum level of one, which is already an extremely terrifying increase.

Not to mention that Greninja didn't undergo Mega Evolution at all. Lance also noticed Cynthia taking out the Key Stone, but the Key Stone didn't emit any light or react, indicating that Greninja's transformation was not Mega Evolution at all.

Furthermore, he didn't see Ash's Key Stone glowing, so it didn't look like a Mega Evolution at all.

So here's the question: Greninja's boost has nothing to do with Mega Evolution or Aura Fusion, so what exactly is it that gives Greninja such a terrifying boost?

On the field, Ash gave Gyarados no chance to catch its breath. His mind and Greninja's mind were now one, and they were of one mind to press their advantage.

"Greninja Frog, Iai Slash!!"

"With a thud, the Greninja on the ground flipped its hands over, and two kunai formed from the condensation of rushing water took shape in its palms, shimmering with water and revealing their sharp edges."

This is a Water-based Iaijutsu that combines the power of water!

He leaped up, transforming into a blur as he charged toward the still-standing Gyarados. His two water kunai, carrying a force that tore through the air, crisscrossed as they swept across Gyarados's massive body.

The splashing water mingled with the crackling sound of scales breaking, further weakening Gyarados's stamina, and its struggle to get up froze completely in place.

But Greninja's offensive did not stop.

His figure flashed again, circling around to the side and rear of Gyarados. He pushed off the ground with his feet, and his whole body stabbed forward like a drawn blade.

A sneak attack on a vital point!

Dark energy condensed in his palm and precisely struck Gyarados's vital spot.

"Aww!"

Gyarados let out a final, unwilling growl before its massive body crashed to the ground, raising a cloud of dust, never to rise again.

Its eyes were closed, and it had lost its ability to fight. The entire dojo fell into a deathly silence, so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

Xiaochun stood frozen in place, staring at the Gyarados lying on the ground, then at the Greninja still enveloped in water and standing on the field, her mind completely blank.

What happened?

Why was the Gyrocopter, the gym's top-level Gyarados, instantly defeated by the opponent in the blink of an eye?

Is this fucking right?

Greninja had a hard time dodging Gyarados's attacks, and even after it used Dig and Cut to sneak up on Gyarados by stealing its skills, it didn't do much damage.

But when that torrent of water enveloped the Greninja, things went completely wrong.

The power Greninja displayed was so immense that she couldn't discern its level at all. Intermediate? Advanced? It didn't seem like it; its power appeared to have reached the Elite Four level!

But how is that possible? A professional-level Greninja advancing to the Champion level in a single battle—you can't even dream of doing that!

On the sidelines, Serena covered her mouth, her eyes sparkling, and after a long while, she finally found her voice: "He...he won? Ash really won?!"

Xiaoxia nodded heavily, but the blank look on her face wouldn't fade.

Having followed Ash for so long, she thought she had gotten used to the miracles he created, but this scene still left her speechless with shock.

It's not surprising that Ash can turn defeat into victory, but generally speaking, even if Ash does turn defeat into victory, it's usually a difficult one. Like this, where one second he's being attacked and the next he's crushing his opponent.

Even she was seeing it for the first time!

Xiao Gang let out a long sigh of relief and muttered, "A Greninja that only evolved yesterday actually defeated a top-tier Gym Leader Pokémon in an almost instantaneous manner. Ash has acquired another incredible Pokémon!"

Hikari was so engrossed in watching that she stared blankly at Ash and Greninja on the field, their breathing synchronized, and for a moment she even forgot to breathe.

That boy, who was about her age, and that Pokémon that resonated with its trainer, left an indelible mark on her heart.

So the bond between humans and elves can be this powerful.

Cynthia slowly put away the unresponsive keystone, her golden eyes churning with an unquenchable turmoil.

"Did the Pokémon evolve simply through pure bond, bypassing the requirements of evolution stones and key stones?"

Awata turned to look at her, her voice filled with undisguised astonishment: "Cynthia, you knew all along that Greninja would turn out like this?"

Cynthia shook her head: "This is the first time I've seen this either."

"However, I am certain that the root of this evolution does not lie in the Pokémon itself, but in the extraordinary bond between him and Ash."

Of course, that Greninja itself must have some oddities, but—if the trainer wasn't Ash, he definitely wouldn't have been able to pull off that kind of transformation.

Therefore, this is the power achieved by both Greninja and Ash.

"The fact that this boy's connection with the elves can be transformed into such real power shows that the possibilities of the elf world are far from being explored."

In the center of the arena, Ash let out a long sigh of relief, his fatigue hidden behind a bright smile.

In fact, he already knew that Greninja possessed this special evolution.

Ever since Greninja was still Froakie, he already knew its future potential. The experts in the group also said that Greninja was special, and its specialness was probably second only to Pikachu among all of Ash's Pokémon.

It's not that Ash's other Pokémon aren't special, but this Greninja is just too special.

Greninja only evolved yesterday, so it has never undergone this evolution in a real battle.

He could sense that the bond between him and Greninja was not yet strong enough to complete that form, that special evolution called Bond Form!

Even the incomplete Bond Evolution allows Greninja to use more of its power beyond its usual limits, even to the point of being able to wield it freely. If it were to complete the Bond Evolution—it would probably be able to completely combine all of its power into one!

What does this mean? It means that even if Greninja was only at the Gym Leader level at that time, it could still unleash power at the God Realm level!

Ash's power is so domineering, but currently only Mewtwo can fuse with Ash's domineering power.

Moreover, the power of Bond Evolution is not just that. Little Intelligence sensed that Bond Evolution is not simply adding the power of the two, but combining the two powers to upgrade them into a completely new power!

When Greninja reaches the God Realm level, the combined power of the two could probably propel them straight to the peak of the God Realm in an instant, or even—the Quasi-Genesis level!

This is the potential of this force.

"Sizzle!" Just as Ash was pondering, he suddenly felt a void in his body, and the water flow that enveloped Greninja on the field suddenly exploded!

Greninja suddenly closed its eyes and lay down on the ground; clearly, it had lost its ability to fight.

This scene stunned everyone.

What's going on? Greninja was full of energy just now, how come it suddenly lost its ability to battle?

Xiao Zhi felt the emptiness inside his body and roughly understood what was going on.

"Bond Evolution — It consumes a lot of stamina."
