Necromancer: Becoming a God Starting with Skeleton Clone

Chapter 463 Bandit Hunt? Facing the Chaotic Villains!

The Ark originally planned to first clip the wings of the Earth Demon Bear King, kill the other Earth Demon Bears in its clan, and then slowly deal with the Demon Bear King.

But now the Demon Bear King is chasing him, so he has no choice but to deal with the Demon Bear King first.

The magic power around Fangzhou flowed, and wave after wave of negative spells fell on the Earth Demon Bear King, weakening its condition.

The Curtain of the Dead!

"boom!!"

Suddenly losing its sight, the rampaging Earth Demon Bear King crashed directly into a giant tree, snapping the tall tree in two and sending splinters flying.

A spear that pierces the heart with bones!

Poison Cloud Technique!

Bone Shockwave!

Corpse Explosion!

Highly Poisonous Nova!

Attack spells rained down on it, especially the Venomous Nova, which detonated the necrotic poison that had accumulated within the Demon Bear King's body. Although it couldn't kill it immediately, it caused excruciating pain.

Under the continuous attacks, the Earth Demon Bear King was completely overwhelmed, unable to catch up or hit, and was constantly being beaten.

This level of attack directly shattered the mind of the Earth Demon Bear King.

Under the mind-draining effect of the Horror Aura, it no longer had the will to fight and was preparing to run away.

Unlike its other kin, the Earth Demon Bears were still embroiled in battle with the Corpse Warriors and couldn't break free anytime soon.

But it was alone outside, and if it couldn't win, it would just run away.

The Earth Demon Bear King roared, serving as a warning to its other kin.

Next, he cast his innate spell ability, Rock Helmet, on himself to enhance his defense before running away.

The ferocious beasts themselves have stronger vitality, and their physical attributes are much stronger than those of humans of the same level under the influence of high-concentration energy.

The Earth Demon Bear King also possesses defensive magical abilities. Once released, its powerful defense means that while the Ark's magical attacks can injure it, they cannot kill it in the short term.

"Commander, there's trouble ahead!"

The sounds of fierce battle erupting from the Ark also attracted nearby adventurers.

One of the teams was getting closer and closer.

How many people?

The man called the leader was chewing on a wolf leg as he asked a question.

"There's only one, but he looks like an extremely rare necromancer." The speaker was an assassin.

He recalled the battle between the Ark and the Earth Demon Bear clan that he had just witnessed during his reconnaissance, and couldn't help but click his tongue: "However, this guy is really fierce, completely different from the legendary necromancers who are weak in combat."

I saw he had at least dozens of skeletons, and he was currently hunting over a hundred Earth Demon Bears.

"Among these demonic bears, three possess magic crystals. It looks like he'll have a good haul if he defeats them!"

"Just one mage?"

The group leader revealed a hint of interest in his smile.

"That's right, just one person." The assassin recounted what he had seen.

"Baldy, what do you think? Is this a good idea?"

The team leader turned his gaze to another teammate standing to the side.

This teammate was also wearing a light robe, and his head was completely bald; he was also a mage.

"Go over and take a look first, then make your move if you have the chance."

Necromancers primarily rely on summoning spells.

However, even with a large number of summoned creatures, as long as the decapitation tactic is executed, they aren't too difficult to deal with.

The bald-headed monk pondered for a moment but did not give a definite answer.

"Then let's go!"

If we can fight him, we'll take him down; if we can't, we'll help him fight the Demon Bear. Either way, we'll get a share!

Upon hearing this, the team leader clapped his hands, and the entire team, led by him, headed towards the ark.

This team is the bandit group that Yang Qinglu, the captain of the Jin Ge team, once mentioned.

This is a very rare gray group in the outpost of the Beast City.

Within the vast mountain range lies a completely uninhabited area, even more sparsely populated than the uninhabited areas of Earth.

Furthermore, due to the shielding and interference of energy tides, modern monitoring equipment in civilized society often fails to function properly.

Those who dare to enter are all professionals, most of them hunting ferocious beasts, but some are hunting people.

They hunt ferocious beasts on a regular basis, but if they encounter other weaker teams, they will seize the opportunity to attack.

Slaughter all the adventurers from these teams, plunder their loot, and take all their enchanted equipment.

After all, teams that dare to venture deep into the Beast Mountain Range usually have one or two enchanted pieces of equipment on each member.

Enchanted equipment is not cheap, especially enchanted jewelry. Even a white, common quality piece costs several hundred magic stones.

In this regard, Fang Zhou, being at the resource-rich Haicheng Military Academy, has consistently maintained his status as the number one seed student, making him the cream of the crop.

He simply cannot comprehend how valuable enchanted equipment is in the eyes of adventurers outside the community.

For a bandit gang, hunting down a team can earn them as much as 20,000 to 30,000 magic stones if they're lucky.

How many ferocious beasts would you have to hunt to earn that much? And if you're lucky, you could even steal the team's loot, making even more money.

Every year, a lot of people die in the Beast Mountain Range. As for whether they are killed by the beasts or by bandits who robbed them, who can really say for sure?

Human nature is inherently dark, and in places without order, this darkness will unconsciously be amplified.

Humanity on Earth is generally in the lawful good camp, especially the Human Alliance government and military. As the maintainers of human order, they deeply abhor such behavior of intercepting and killing their own kind, killing each other, and causing great racial infighting.

Therefore, the authorities of the Beast City simply issued a kill order against this bandit group.

If there is evidence that a professional is a member of a criminal gang, they can be killed on the spot and a generous reward can be obtained.

Under this storm-like attack, the once rampant bandit gangs were almost quickly wiped out.

However, those bandits who survive under this crackdown are all exceptional, with combat capabilities far exceeding their peers and even comparable to elite military units.

As the twenty-man bandit gang approached, the sounds of battle gradually reached their ears.

They approached just as the Ark was being chased by the Demon Bear King.

Enraged by his failed escape attempt, the Earth Demon Bear King unleashed his magical power and has now caught up with the Ark.

However, this was obviously a seduction by Ark.

-

He possesses the ability to teleport, allowing him to travel a considerable distance at any time.

This is what the bandits saw; they stared longingly at the corpse of the Earth Demon Bear lying on the ground.

They also noticed the tense situation on the battlefield; dozens of skeletal warriors were entangled with the Earth Demon Bear and were unlikely to break free anytime soon.

"How about it? Baldy?" The leader smiled when he saw this.

"The necromancer's skills all lie in his summoned creatures."

Although his summoned creatures look strange, they are much stronger than ordinary skeleton warriors and zombies.

However, they were all tied up in the battle, so it wasn't that they couldn't fight.

The bald man observed the battle situation and analyzed it.

"Let's do it!"

At the leader's command, the bandit members behind him slowly dispersed, and several assassins also went into stealth mode.

With the aerial reconnaissance capabilities of the skeletal bats, Ark had already spotted the group as they approached, and a sense of vigilance rose within him.

"Brother, we're here to help you!"

The bandit leader smiled broadly and summoned a heavily armored war rhinoceros using a contract with a wave of his hand.

These bred spirit beast mounts also possess Black Iron rank strength.

They not only have extremely high burst sprinting ability, but also quite good endurance, making them highly favored by many knight-type professions.

In the mythological era, a large part of a knight's skills came from his mount.

Knights with mounts and knights without mounts are completely different classes.

The commander, clad in armor, held a lance pointed directly at the Earth Demon Bear King. The lance emanated a dense battle aura, indicating that he had already reached the lower Bronze rank.

His mount also burst into high-speed sprint at this moment, and even though it was in the forest, the terrain was uneven and there were trees blocking its way, its speed did not decrease.

The knight weaved and darted through the gaps between the trees, his battle aura surging like a tiger descending a mountain.

At that moment, the Death Elf Vigus flapped its small wings and, unnoticed by everyone, leaped into the body of the Ark. Vigus, who was extremely sensitive to fluctuations in people's hearts, was using this method to warn the Ark.

The black gem dragon Tiamat, disguised as an ordinary lizard, also arched its back and hissed dangerously.

"No need!"

Fang Zhou frowned, shouted, and had a bad feeling.

He vaguely sensed that the team was slowly surrounding the battlefield, and he felt displeased.

Judging from their posture, these people are definitely here to get a share of the Earth Demon Bear's spoils, or perhaps they even see him as their meal.

"Hahaha, my friend, don't be shy, watch this!"

The knight had already charged forward, black battle aura swirling between every joint of his armor.

The spear, like a serpent spitting its tongue, with its sharp tip, instilled a great sense of crisis in the Earth Demon Bear King.

"drink!"

The knight, aided by his warhorse's high-speed charge, thrust out a fatal spear.

"court death!"

At that moment, Fangzhou suddenly sensed a deadly crisis.

A stealthy Black Iron assassin was forced to reveal himself under the ever-present eagle-eyed vision of the Ark's spirits.

He held a poisoned short blade, intending to stab the ark frantically.

The Assassin's battle aura differs from that of the Knight, possessing higher penetration and dealing more damage to magical shields or physical armor.

And generally speaking, these assassins who lurk in the shadows carry deadly toxins on their daggers.

These extraordinary toxins are extremely lethal; even a minor scratch can take the life of a victim whose physical attributes do not provide sufficient immunity within seconds.

At that moment, the charging knight let out a cold laugh, his sharp lance like a black lightning bolt, bypassing the half-dead Earth Demon Bear King and piercing directly at the Ark.

Xiang Zhuang's sword dance was aimed at Liu Bang!

"Bang!"

The skeletal armor covering Ark's entire body immediately became visible, and like a baseball hitting glass, the iron-hard skeletal armor emitted a crackling sound.

"Crackling!"

To the bandit leader's surprise, his seemingly sure-fire attack only managed to shatter one layer of the Ark's magical shield.

Beneath this layer of skeletal armor, countless defensive spells are poised to be unleashed.

"Another turtle shell!"

"Damn mage."

The bronze knight, having missed his first attack, cursed under his breath and then spurred his mount to continue his relentless assault.

At this moment, Ark, who was being attacked by its own kind for the first time in its life, remained unusually calm.

A gentleman does not stand under a dangerous wall.

He directly activated the spell engraved on the bone armor amulet, and a brand new bone armor appeared.

"Boom boom boom!"

The appearance of this skeletal armor was perfectly timed.

The Ark's activated armor hadn't lasted long before several arrows carrying a large amount of battle energy were fired at it.

This is the Rangers' attack; they are now standing at a distance, indiscriminately raining down arrows.

Bone Armor!

Fangzhou took out the magic scroll from the space storage capsule, tore it open and activated it without thinking, generating a shield once again.

It wasn't that he didn't want to use the skeleton's teleportation ability to leave. Besides, he didn't know how many enemies were around.

Bone Flash is a movement skill with a relatively long cooldown, so it shouldn't be used recklessly.

If we get even more surrounded, things could get really bad.

"Hey buddy, what are you doing? Don't use my reel!"

Upon seeing this, the knight commander grinned wildly, and his men continued their attack, thrusting and stabbing with their spears.

The Earth Demon Bear King remained powerless and furious, roaring madly, trying to attack but unable to catch anyone.

Fiery missile!

Arcane Ray!

Wind Blade Technique!

Several spells landed on the Ark's skeletal armor, making the already heavily damaged armor teeter on the verge of collapse.

This was an attack from the bald mage.

The bald mage stood at a distance, holding a staff, continuously casting spells from his hand.

Compared to the others, this mage was naturally a greater threat to the Ark.

"Bald guy, well done!" the Grand Master of Knights laughed.

Based on his combat experience, the shield strength of a typical high-ranking Black Iron mage should have been insufficient to withstand such continuous attacks long ago.

He thought that his teammates' combined efforts were about to break through the Ark's magical defenses.

"With so few people, they dare to attack me!"

Meanwhile, Ark had already used the vision of the skeletal bats high in the sky and the Soul Eagle Eye skill to find out exactly how many enemies it had.

After seeing their numbers and strength, he felt relieved.

A lower-ranking Bronze Knight has a constitution attribute that is roughly between 150 and 200 points.

A mage of the Dark Iron rank, plus a dozen or so other Dark Iron rank warriors.

Even if they are well-trained, have excellent teamwork, are well-equipped, and possess formidable skills, they still can't do anything to him.
