Pokémon, who made him the gym leader?

Chapter 26 The Man Commonly Known as the "Mythical Beast Man"

As the world's number one IP in its past life, Pokémon has now developed into countless main and branching works.

The game has reached its ninth generation, "Sin/Violet," but when it comes to classics, the first generation is undoubtedly the one.

Undoubtedly, the Kanto region is indeed very special, for example, the Gym Leaders.

Team Rocket is the evil organization in the Kanto region, and it is a different kind of evil organization boss compared to later generations, whose ideologies include land and sea, reshaping the world, pursuing true ideals, and purifying the world.

The Rockets' philosophy is quite 'pure': dominate the world!

But without a doubt, among all evil organizations, Team Rocket is the most innocent "evil" in people's minds!

Because the anime is geared towards children, it's difficult to reveal Team Rocket's true dark side, but the games and special episodes do depict it.

In the special episode, Giovanni is portrayed as a ruthless and cunning villain who even cruelly dismembered a spirit in front of the protagonist.

Stealing Pokémon from strangers, hunting wild Pokémon, conducting inhumane genetic experiments on Pokémon, and so on—the list of their crimes is too long to count.

Yes, Giovanni, the Gym Leader of Viridian City, is Team Rocket's boss, and ironically, the Pokémon League is unaware of this.

Even this source of darkness in the Kanto underworld enjoys considerable prestige and is revered in the open within Kanto.

Guxin did a quick search for some information about Giovanni. Besides being a gym leader, Giovanni was also an entrepreneur.

Giovanni, who specializes in Ground-type moves, is known as "Giovanni of the Earth" and is also considered by some to be the strongest Gym Leader in the Kanto region.

Moreover, as an expert specializing in Ground-type attacks, Giovanni never closed himself off from the world. Instead, he wrote down his insights on Ground-type attacks in a book called "The Secrets of the Earth," which became widely circulated.

It can be said that this magnanimous and masterful demeanor has earned Giovanni the deep respect and widespread praise he enjoys.

On the Kanto League's official website, the Viridian Dojo has consistently maintained a high approval rating over the years. However, because Giovanni himself is often away from the dojo "training outside," very few challengers are able to obtain the Viridian Dojo badge each year.

However, because Giovanni is so strong and has such a high reputation, this has increased the prestige of the Viridian Gym, and trainers are proud to obtain the green badge of the Viridian Gym.

But no one would have guessed that Giovanni was the leader of Team Rocket, the biggest scourge in the Kanto region, and the biggest boss in the Kanto underworld!

Of course, this has nothing to do with Guxin right now; he only thought of these things because of what Miss Officer Jenny said.

Because if those gym leaders are really from the special episode, then Officer Jenny's description of them as "excellent gym leaders" is a complete joke.

"Speaking of which, the Rockets will be eyeing Silver Company later."

As he said goodbye to Officer Jenny, Gusin thought of this.

Silver Company is one of the world's top companies and the largest company in the Kanto region in terms of size and output.

Silver Company is a leading manufacturer, and the Poké Ball technology that trainers rely on today was pioneered by Silver Company.

So you can imagine how massive a company Silver Corporation, which possesses the technology for Poké Balls, must be in this world.

However, in this world, the trainer side and the industry side are clearly separated!

Powerful trainers are actually too powerful, especially champion-level trainers, who can even destroy a city with their main force.

While the Silver Corporation is rich, extremely rich, and incredibly rich, being rich does not equate to having strong military power.

In the original story, Team Rocket targeted Silver Company and easily seized control of their headquarters in Goldenrod City.

The president of Silver Corporation was tied up and thrown into a corner like a dead dog. If the protagonist hadn't come to the rescue, the entire Silver Corporation would probably have been devoured by Team Rocket, and all its assets would have gone to someone else.

Normal people wouldn't risk offending the Pokémon League by breaking this rule, but Team Rocket is an evil organization.

The balance between the trainer's side and the everyday side is controlled by the Pokémon League. Anyone who dares to break this taboo will be met with a fierce attack from the Pokémon League.

The Rockets have no taboos; if Giovanni is willing, he can do it.

"I need to mention this to my dad; he's the largest shareholder of Silver Corporation."

Guxin pondered that his old man, Deng, was now the largest shareholder of Silver Company. Although he was only a shareholder, he held 50% of the shares, so Silver Company was practically his father's.

So Gu Xin is actually a super-rich tycoon's son.

In that case, the company certainly can't let the Rockets mess with it, and at the very least, the Rockets absolutely can't take away its assets.

"What's wrong, Guxin? What are you thinking about?"

Eileen looked curiously at Guxin, who was deep in thought.

"Are you worried about what Officer Jenny said? Actually, I think it's definitely okay if it's you, Guxin."

Eileen was smart; she understood what Officer Jenny meant—she probably meant someone from the Pokémon Inspection Bureau.

However, Erin trusts Gushin and believes that Gushin will definitely pass the Pokémon Inspection Bureau's test.

"Yes, of course." Gu Xin chuckled as he came back to his senses.

"Let's go, let's go to Konoha City."

"Okay~"

……

Koroba City, located at the southern entrance to the sea, is the largest coastal city in the Kanto region and an international port city.

Kuye Port serves several shipping routes and is a popular stop for world-class luxury cruise ships.

The name "Kuraba City" refers to the orange-yellow color at dusk.

At dusk, the entire city of Kurenai is bathed in a layer of orange-red glow, which shines on the buildings and makes the city look very soft and beautiful.

"The smell of the sea breeze~"

After a several-hour car ride, Guxin and Eileen arrived in the city.

Eileen instantly smelled the slightly salty sea breeze unique to the harbor city. It wasn't particularly unpleasant; on the contrary, it made Eileen feel quite happy.

Which inland girl doesn't dream of seeing the sea?

"It's different from the game."

Gu Xin looked around and gave a brief comment.

After a few days, he had already cleared the Vermilion City Gym in the simulation. Now it seems that although the cities in the real world have retained their characteristics, they are indeed different from those in the game.

Although he had already determined this when he was in Pyrenees and Cerulean City.

"Huh? What game?" Eileen didn't hear clearly.

"It's nothing, let's go, let's go to the hotel first and then have a good look around."

Guxin smiled and led Eileen to the hotel they had booked in advance to pack their things.

The two went to the hotel, but when they checked in at the front desk, Gu Xin was surprised to see the figure walking in.

He had long, gray-blue hair, with long bangs covering one eye. He wore a gray outfit and a red cloak. His face wasn't particularly handsome, but it was passable.

"Tsk~"

Gu Xin looked at the blue-haired man, his eyes flickering slightly.

This man is none other than Dakdo!

Many people may not recognize this name because it appears very rarely in anime, but it is extremely important.

Deus ex machina usually appears at the Suzuran Convention, where characters wielding Darkrai cut through everything in their path.

In the semifinals, using only two Pokémon, Darkrai and Latios, they crushed Ash in a 2-to-6 sweep at the Lily of the Valley Conference, winning the Lily of the Valley Conference with overwhelming force!

That's right, the man commonly known as the "mythical beast man"!
