Wizard: I am a goblin

Chapter 222 The Devourer's Labyrinth
"Abeo!"
A puff of gray smoke appeared, and the goblin wizard materialized in the center of the platform.
"Phew—" Gebu breathed a sigh of relief. After flying inside the cave for more than half an hour, he finally found a spacious place to land.
Gebu surveyed the platform he had landed on by the light of the torch.
This is the end of the cave, a hemispherical recess that looks like it was carved out of the rock wall—I am standing in the very center of the hemisphere, looking up at the smooth dome.
Obsidian? Geb thought to himself as he looked at the translucent material that made up the entire space.
The ground beneath his feet was shockingly smooth, neither a naturally formed landscape nor a man-made one. Even the most skilled dwarven craftsmen could not have processed obsidian to such a smoothness on such a large scale.
It's a magical creation, definitely.
Gebu shone his torch on the obsidian platform beneath his feet, which resembled a layer of ice, and was so startled that he almost dropped the torch.
"A skeleton!! It's huge!!"
The goblin's hair stood on end for a moment—but he quickly calmed down. It was just a dead body; he'd seen them before.
It's just a little big.
The goblin closed one eye and used his thumb to gesture the size of the skull's head, estimating the skeletons' dimensions.
These skeletons grew to be 15 or 16 meters tall, equivalent to the height of a five-story building.
giant?
Considering the history of this place, it seems that I have found the giants who were buried underground along with their settlement.
Looking at the empty eye sockets of these giant skeletons and the pitch-black abyss beneath their feet, where no light could penetrate, Gebu felt a sense of unease that triggered his thalassophobia.
He seemed to be able to empathize with the despair these giant creatures felt before they died.
The Book of Sand says that Giant Hill is the last settlement of the giant race. So, could these guys be the last giants—have they been wiped out?
"Hey guys, I apologize for bothering you, please forgive me—although I am also a wizard, I have nothing to do with the wizard who buried you. There are debts and grievances to settle."
Geb murmured to the skeletons, then bowed in a mock manner.
As Gebu was saluting the skeleton, he suddenly heard a "click" sound in front of him. He instinctively pointed in the direction of the sound, preparing to chant a spell.
"Who?!"
There was no one there, and a damp, chilly wind carried the smell of decay.
Gebu cautiously surveyed his surroundings and confirmed that no one else was there. He released his magical pet, Big Eye, which transformed into a raven and circled overhead on guard, before heading towards the end of the platform.
Don't scare yourself unnecessarily; it's not like this is your first time visiting a creepy place.
The goblin encouraged itself as it peered forward. The platform narrowed, converging before a massive obsidian obelisk—in fact, the entire hemispherical dome and the flat floor were fused together in a bizarre, twisted geometric shape, coalescing into a deformed obelisk that pierced through the cave ceiling at a sharp angle from the junction of the ground and the wall.
Geb sensed powerful magical energy emanating from the obelisk. He cast a detection spell, and the instant the spell was successfully cast, the dazzling magical light emanating from the obelisk blinded the goblin.
"Magnubier's ass! Light pollution!"
Geb covered his eyes and cursed. It seemed this obsidian obelisk was indeed an etheric spring, and this spring was exposed like this—unlike the previous relics of the Old Gods. Come to think of it, this magical power was truly exhilarating. Perhaps meditating here would be more effective—
boom!!!
The ground beneath Goblin's feet suddenly began to shake violently, but luckily the goblin was agile enough not to fall directly.
It's an obelisk! The obelisk is emitting shockwaves that propagate through the obsidian, causing the entire cave to tremble with powerful energy.
Geb sensed that the ether within the curtain was beginning to stir, and an ominous red light was seeping out from the cracks in the obsidian.
Are you angry? What did I do?
The goblin wizard didn't know what to do. He felt the platform shaking more and more violently, almost making him lose his footing. He turned and used a stealth step to teleport to the edge of the platform, then looked back at the stalactite platform he had come from. He raised his hand to cast a spell to escape—
"Magnusdevorator.Deuspotensfuroris!!!"
In a flash, a hooded figure suddenly appeared on the platform, as if a veil of invisibility had been removed. The girl roared at the obelisk in ancient sage language with all her might, her voice hoarse from shouting.
"Larva tua per hunc mundum et ultra resonat. O domine mi magne!!!"
The girl continued shouting, and then a telepathic message suddenly rang in Gebu's mind: "Want to die?! Quickly start praying with me!"
Gebu was stunned for a moment, only to see the figure suddenly kneel on the ground, prostrating himself, repeatedly saying two words as he bowed:
"AveOr "thhum————————AveOr "thhum!——————AveOr "thhum!"
Gebu's knowledge of ancient sages allowed him to understand some fragments, but since he had not studied them systematically, he was unable to process them all.
Greatness — devours — fury.
Wraiths—this realm—another realm—echoes—the great Lord.
What do you mean? Did you mess with something you shouldn't have?
Gob hesitated for a second before making a decision that aligned with his goblin instincts.
I don't care about this or that, just run away!
With a flick of his wrist, Gebu unleashed an abeos, teleporting in a flash to a stalactite pillar thirty meters away, where he clung to it like a spider.
"Ave Or "thhum! Ave Or "thhum!"
The girl called out anxiously, realizing that Geb wasn't with her. She turned sharply towards the goblin. Her hood fell down, revealing chestnut hair, and her eager eyes met the goblin's.
Oh, Belle?
"you!"
The witch's eyes were like knives as she stared at the fleeing goblin.
"Come help me quickly! Otherwise, the whole place will collapse!"
A communication spell activated in Gebu's mind. While searching for his next destination, he replied, "Then run! What are you standing there for?"
"You—I haven't learned teleportation magic—"
The girl's expression showed some embarrassment, just like the shoe-throwing girl who was trapped outside the magical barrier years ago.
Gebu was both amused and exasperated.
"Then you'd better pray for yourself. Put some effort into it, and pray earnestly!"
Abeo!
The goblin vanished in a flash before the girl's eyes. She cursed in Imperial language, then turned and prayed even more fervently.
However, the girl's prayers did not appease the evil presence within the obelisk; the ominous red light grew increasingly glaring, staining the entire cave crimson.
"Ave Ave Or "thhum! Ave——————"
The platform shook violently, and the obsidian began to crack, as if the skull buried deep in the stone was about to break through the surface! Belle lost her balance and fell to the ground, her forehead slamming against the hard ground with a thud, instantly bringing tears to her eyes from the pain.
"Ave Or thhum————"
Ave—— Or "thhum"
immo
,
Yes, praise for Altom.
A deep sound resonated between the stones, penetrating the ethereal veil and traversing both realms.
Belle struggled to sit up, trying to get up, but the ground was shaking so violently that she couldn't move at all.
"Ora—— mortalis, furor meus solo sanguine satiari—— potest."
Pray, mortal, that my rage can only be relieved by blood.
Belle let out a desperate scream from deep within her throat. She watched helplessly as a huge rock fell from the ceiling, hurtling towards her!
"Mom, help!"
Abeo!
""
A dark shadow flashed by, and in an instant, the boulder crashed into the ground and shattered into countless pebbles!
The obsidian throughout the cave was stained red by the wrath of the evil god!
