"An empire can collapse in an instant."

Rasputin stood by the palace pool, took out a razor blade, and carefully shaved his beard, but nothing came off. As he shaved, he said, "It's as if the destruction of the great German, Austrian, and Tsarist Russian empires all stemmed from a single shot fired in Seraphim."

"Are they destined for destruction? It seems so, yet it seems not. A world war is inevitable, but what about the destruction of an empire?"

The bodyguards stood at a distance; Mr. Rasputin's erratic behavior was nothing new to them, so they weren't surprised. The reason Magneto allowed this madman to be there was because he was the only one who could soothe the emotions of Magneto's eldest daughter, Wanda Maximov, the very foundation of the Empire.

Quicksilver, holding the Terrigen Crystal, looked at Rasputin, whom he had knocked to the ground, and couldn't help but snort coldly.

"I knew it, you weren't here with good intentions. What are you planning to do bringing this kind of thing to the palace?"

Rasputin staggered, trying to get up while supporting himself on the ground, but was then punched away by Quicksilver. Quicksilver immediately appeared behind him at super speed, and then stabbed Rasputin with a chop, the rapid vibration of the chop piercing through Rasputin's body and tearing out his heart.

"Fine, I don't understand what you're planning to do, but whatever you're going to do, you can't hurt my family anymore."

As he spoke, Prince Quicksilver tossed Rasputin's body aside, then grasped the Terrigen Crystal, preparing to call the guards to dispose of it. The surrounding bodyguards remained silent, for theoretically they were merely Magneto's family's bodyguards.

But at that moment, Quicksilver heard an incredulous voice. The corpse behind him stood up in a stiff, contorted posture and then brushed the long hair from its forehead: "Of course I don't intend to harm your family, Prince Piero, but—you are not included."

"You are my target."

The Terrigen Crystal in Quicksilver's hand suddenly shattered, then reacted violently with the air, enveloping Quicksilver in mist. He immediately tried to escape the mist using his super speed, but was rammed back by Rasputin, who didn't even have a heart, using the same superpower.

An unknown Inhuman assassin planned to assassinate Wanda Maximov, but the plan failed, and the princess was saved by her own brother. Unfortunately, in order to protect the lives of hundreds of people in the palace, the great Prince Pietro sacrificed his own life."

Rasputin smiled. A great sacrifice, one that would bring many things. He crouched down, looked at Quicksilver, and said, "And this will be the beginning of everything."

Everything collapsed in an instant, not with the death of Scarlet Witch, but with the death of Quicksilver. Almost all the rebels were more extreme and insane than Magneto, but this was certainly not due to Magneto's mercy.

He just needed a crazy reason.

Quicksilver collapsed to the ground, staring incredulously at Rasputin. A large hole still lodged in his chest, his heart nowhere to be seen, but this did not stop Rasputin from continuing his actions.

"But don't worry, when all this is over, Wanda Maximoff will create a new world, and in that world you will still exist and be resurrected."

"So do not be afraid of your sacrifice, my friend. It is all worthwhile."

Rasputin laughed, then watched Quicksilver fall. As for him, although he was a mutant in all the tests, he was able to walk freely in the Terrigen Mist, completely unaffected. He gently waved his hand, and all the mist gathered together, then he completely dispelled it.

After the Terrigen Mist was dispelled, Magneto of the M royal family in this world approached Rasputin, looked at him, and asked in a cold voice, "Have you brought everything you prepared?"

He walked out silently and left the place. He was going to fight for himself, for his daughter and son, and for the creation of a true, eternal Eden for mutants, an Eden that should not be placed solely on a poor girl.

"You'd better not think too much about it, Rasputin, or you'll end up like that ominous sign hanging outside the castle."

Rasputin laughed; he wasn't the ominous sign that had hung himself on the wall.
