Chapter 1000 Hydra Captain

Lord Thor soared through the sky, roaring across the entire Hydra territory. But he was met only with silence, even stillness.

A deathly silence.

No one seemed to dare respond to him, but then, in the ensuing silence, something seemed to arrive. Then, a person appeared naturally in the clearing. He seemed to appear suddenly, or perhaps he simply walked over; neither Thanos nor Thor noticed how he got there.

This man was undoubtedly the supreme leader of Hydra, yet many who saw him dared not approach. He wore a pure white suit and trousers, with a matching white jacket underneath. He emerged, his collar slightly undone, wearing gleaming leather shoes. His right hand gripped the Cosmic Cube, while his left hand held a Mauser military pistol.

Without a doubt, this person's attire makes him look nothing like someone who's there to fight.

His appearance is even more obvious: he is Steve Rogers, the Captain America of other universes, the "Hydra Captain" of certain universes, and the supreme leader of Hydra.

Snake glanced at Thor, who was high above, raising his hand as if to block out the sunlight, then sighed: "I don't like gods or anything like that. Everyone is equal, but there's always some god who wants to be superior. Let's drag him down."

As soon as the Snake Team finished speaking, the Sentinel from the Siege Victory Universe charged forward, pouncing on Lord Thor and smashing his fist into his face. Lord Thor then retaliated by striking the Siege Sentinel with his hammer, but the Sentinel, not to be outdone, headbutted Lord Thor, shouting, "I've killed a Thor before!"

"I've killed a sentry too. Don't be so arrogant, you're just a mortal!"

The two then engaged in a fierce battle in the sky, while on the ground, a large number of villains, manipulated by King Loki, launched an attack on Hydra's position. Or rather, it wasn't so much manipulation as they could actually see that the Cosmic Cube was in Hydra's hands.

The Ultimate Octopus, who had joined the "Evil Six of the Multiverse," asked his colleagues, "Don't we need to go up and organize a defensive line?"

"No, that's not necessary," said one of the Hydra soldiers. "We have our leader; he'll handle everything."

In the open, unshielded plaza, the Snake Team simply raised the Cosmic Cube in their hands. Then, one after another, the dead came "back to life," or rather, one after another, the zombie heroes who had long since died and been eliminated by Peter using the power of Captain Universe were resurrected by the Cosmic Cube's alteration of reality, blocking the way for the charging evil master of the multiverse.

"Avengers, dinner's ready!"

Roaring with familiar words, the fully resurrected zombie Captain America rushed into the villain's group first, biting them with his mouth. Then, the other zombie heroes, including the strongest zombie Hulk, charged forward like madmen.

The only exception was the Snake Team. Even though he was right next to the zombie heroes, all the zombies ignored him without exception.

The living were quickly torn to shreds by the intelligent and hungry zombies. It wasn't until Sentinel robots entered the arena that the battle reached a balance. These killing machines, used to slaughter mutants, came from fragments of the Battle Realm from a past future where Earth was destroyed. As purely mechanical, the Sentinel robots became the perfect means of eliminating the zombies.

But even this scene didn't last long, because the two fighting in the sky quickly descended. Lord Thor, gripping the Sentinel by the neck, landed at lightning speed and looked at the Hydra team. The Hydra captain merely raised an eyebrow, and then the Sentinel in Lord Thor's hand emitted a dazzling light. Finally, the power of a million solar charges exploded instantly, only to be confined to a tiny area by the Cosmic Cube. However, as the explosion subsided, Lord Thor landed unharmed.

"Your farce is over, son of Rogers. You possess power that you yourself don't even know how to use, and mortals simply don't know how to use it."

"I could have turned you into that Dr. Donald, you know, like an incompetent, sick-legged doctor."

The Hydra captain smiled and looked at Lord Thor before him: "But I've thought about it, and you might not be so happy about that, so how about this, we just have a fight, just like you're hoping for."

Lord Thor looked at the snake team with some suspicion, then took a step back warily, and then raised Mjolnir in his hand and quickly unleashed lightning.

However, Snake Team was faster than Lightning. He rushed in front of Lord Thor and kicked him in the knee. This kick, which was far beyond human strength, made Lord Thor kneel down. Then Snake Team kicked Lord Thor in the head with a side kick, but the latter did not move.

"Don't be so arrogant, Rogers' son!"

Lord Thor angrily prepared to swing his hammer, but the Snake Team blocked the hammer with one hand and then pointed their Mauser pistol at Lord Thor with the other. Lord Thor saw that the Snake Team did not have the Cosmic Cube in their hands and couldn't help but sneer.

"Human weapons are nothing but toys to me, son of Rogers; they can't hurt me at all."

Lord Thor, who was kneeling on the ground, prepared to stand up. He hadn't shed a drop of blood and stood up straight. The Hydra captain smiled and replied to Lord Thor, "Of course, I'm absolutely certain of that."

"So this is no ordinary weapon."

As he fired, a purple streak pierced Lord Thor's brain, followed by the purple Power Gem striking the ground. The Hydra captain bent down to pick up the Power Gem he had fired as a bullet, and smiled as he watched the so-called "multiverse evil masters" who surged forward but then stopped in place, attacking the Hydra soldiers at times and then halting at others.

"So, what about you?"

For a moment, the villains looked at each other, not knowing what to do, until at some point, someone raised their hand and shouted.

"Long live Hydra!"

What followed was a deafening roar.

"Long live Hydra!"

However, Snake Team didn't say anything more about it. He just turned around and saw Thanos, the Emperor, smiling at him from a distance, and Galactus, the Ghost Rider version of Galactus, slowly getting up.

And the many more enemies that have yet to appear, for example...
