Superman from the comics: Starting with the Black Robe

Chapter 480 It's time to settle accounts.
Joey didn't really listen to much of what Joe El said; all he was thinking about was how planet Mogo was doing.
These crazed Kryptonians just now used their warships to deliver a direct blow that pierced through both the planet Mogo and Solaris. He couldn't care less about Solaris, but the survival of the planet Mogo was of utmost importance.
These Kryptonians have really gone to a certain degree of madness. This is a living planet with its own consciousness, and they just destroy it like that!
Moreover, with Planet Mogo dead, doesn't that mean the crisis on both Earths is about to restart?!
Just as Joey was pondering this, a deafening explosion came from the direction of Mogo in space.
The massive celestial body cracked along its already pierced core, spewing out countless molten lava. This living planet, which may have been the only one of its kind since the birth of the universe, thus came to the end of its life.
"You guys are a bunch of monsters."
Planet Mogo has always acted as a buffer and mediator among various forces such as the Guardians, Joey, and the Green Lantern Corps, and is a rare normal person in the entire universe.
Putting everything else aside, at least he and Kara were saved by his life. If Mogo hadn't helped them, who knows what would have happened to Joey, but Kara would definitely be dead.
Now the Kryptonians have so ruthlessly destroyed such an existence.
"This is war. No cause, no past, only life and death."
Jor-El felt no remorse for this. The combination of Solaris and Planet Mogo was clearly a counter to the Kryptonian army. Why not eliminate the trouble once and for all when you can do it?
Perhaps they should also thank their son, because both he and the Guardians believed they had reached a peace agreement, which led them to lower their guard and allow the Kryptonian warships' attack to be so successful.
By this time, Jor-El was no longer the Superman's biological father he was commonly perceived to be; he had gone far, far down this path: "Besides, have you ever cared how many Kryptonians this planet has killed in the past decade or so?"
"What happened now?"
After Jor-Al turned the tables and cut off the only way out between the two Earths, Tony, completely unaware of what had happened, descended from the sky again.
The distance between the two Earths is now getting closer and closer, to the point where it is almost impossible to travel freely back and forth within the atmosphere without even touching deep space.
It was at this very moment that Tony, who had not observed the anomalies in the Flashpoint universe at all, crossed the atmosphere and arrived in Metropolis, carrying with him a recently modified antimatter bomb.
It's called a modification, but in reality, it's just finding a missile fire control system from an old Stark Industries production line, installing a canister of antimatter that nobody wanted back then, and then it's usable.
Tony landed with a thud between Joe Al and Joey, raising the rather unsophisticated-looking missile in his hand to the latter: "I've brought the bomb. When do you need it?"
From his perspective, it would have been perfect if this situation had ended with Superman making concessions.
He and Superman went through so many adventures, and Superman solved countless problems for his universe.
They shouldn't end up like Doctor Doom suggested, turning against each other and killing one another.
"You must be Tony Stark."
Although Joe Al, standing high in the sky, uttered a question, he had already figured out Tony's identity in an instant: "I'm afraid you're getting ahead of yourself."
"9
Tony had initially intended to ask who this white-bearded old man was, but upon seeing the resemblance between him and Joey in their features, along with the large "S" emblem on his chest, he immediately knew the answer: "You must be Superman's parent, right?"
"Look up, Iron Man." Jor-El stopped wasting words with Tony. "If I were you, I'd be ready to fight. Only one of your worlds, and this one, can survive."
In order to reverse the life equation, the crisis between these two Earths must occur, begin, and end according to his will.
In other words, things have to go down to the worst-case scenario.
"What?"
Looking up at the sky, Tony also saw the giant planet Mogo, which had originally been designated as a refuge, falling apart.
The sudden turn of events made it impossible for him to remain calm. He raised his hand and began constructing a beam weapon: "What have you done?!"
With just over three hours until the collision, it turns out all that effort was for nothing!
Tony's hostile behavior did not elicit any reaction from Joe Al's side at all. Even the few guards who arrived late behind him only glanced at him indifferently, and did not even regard Tony's aggressive posture as a threat.
Now, under the halo of the yellow sun and the super sunstone warship, the Kryptonians are almost invincible.
Tony felt deeply humiliated by the other party's disdain, but that was the truth. Based on his hypothetical analysis of Superman, Tony knew that his current level was likely insufficient to cause any harm to the Kryptonians.
From being blown apart by shrapnel to becoming Iron Man, Tony Stark has only been a superhero for less than two years.
He has not yet begun to make effective technological progress and does not have enough technical means to harm the Kryptonians.
"Karl," Joe Al said, ignoring Tony and turning to his silent son, "it's time to make a decision."
"No." Joey's refusal was firm: "I would never associate with someone like you."
If he wanted to join Krypton, he could have done it from the beginning. Why wait until now?
Even if he only had three hours left, he was willing to gamble in this doomed end and find an impossible way to survive.
"Fine." Joe El's expression remained unchanged after being rejected; he simply tossed out a casual remark: "Enjoy your predicament."
Joe Al deliberately puts two Earths and two universes into a brutal life-or-death situation not because he's a psychopathic butcher, but simply because he has this need.
The anti-life equation is an equation. The left side of this equation is "anti-life". So what should the right side of the equation be?
He didn't know if his son realized that, after the dilemma of the two Earths was brought back to the forefront, the way everyone looked at each other and at Superman began to be mixed with other emotions.
Carl El might be willing to put his Earth at risk in order to find a win-win solution, but what about the others?
Would Batman or Tony Stark make a futile effort over these three hours?
The self-worth of Kryptonians can only be realized among Kryptonians, and Kal'El just hasn't realized it yet.
Soon, Karl El would come to realize this, regarding others, those who weren't truly extraordinary, and their impressions of him—
alienation.
fear.
fling in teeth.
condemn.
misunderstanding.
And his————
lonely.
As for Joe Al himself—
Before obtaining the anti-life equation, he had another score to settle.
